My sister and I had a regular nail appointment scheduled at 1:15. We walked in 5 minutes early and it was extremely busy, yet they were still accepting walk-ins! They sat us down in the tubs & filled up the tubs & we sat and waiting until 1:50 before they started working on me. It wasn’t until 1:30 when I had to ask what was taking so long. My sister finally got started at 2:05. I totally understand if they are super busy and couldn’t squeeze us in, its just very frustrating when we had an appointment scheduled from the previous day and waited almost an hour before someone took care of us. My lady literally did nothing to my feet except cut my nails & put on lotion. I’ve had plenty of bad pedicures but this is probably the worst one i have ever had. super disappointing

I love this place, I like the way they set up colors, it’s very easy to find colors. They have so many colors. They spent to do my pedicure and manicure. The staffs are professional, friendly. Their prices are reasonable. They clean after each client because I have been coming for 4 years. Van and Jimmy are nice. Thanks for taking care of me.

I booked two appointments at about 10:30 am for 4:30 pm the same day. They were super nice about it and answered my questions about pricing. I had originally asked for a dip powder manicure & my mom had asked for a gel manicure. We got there at 4:30 and waited about 15 minutes (we picked out our colors so it was fine). They took walk-ins the entire time, which was pretty generous considering it was about 5:45 when we left.My manicure: After I got there, I asked if i could change it to a full acrylic set & they were so nice about me changing my mind. The guy doing my nails was very nice & super helpful and really caring. My nails turned out great & I had no complaints walking out the door, great experience.My moms manicure: She asked for a gel manicure, and for her nails to be cut to the end of her finger, with a rounded edge. The lady completely ignored her wishes & cut them way too short and unevenly. She was very harsh handling my moms arms & hands and didnt seem to care when my mom winced when she was cutting her cuticles. My moms nails turned out less than ideal & looked like a 4 yr old had done them. However, she was too nice to say anything & walked out of there paying full price and even left a tip. The lady she had seemed to be the only one doing a bad job bc every other clients nails looked fine, including mine. Also, my moms manicure & mine took the same time, which it shouldnt have.Overall, great place & service, just depends on who does your nails & how much they really care. My moms nails look better in the picture than they do in real life.

The nail salon was very clean, they wiped everything down before starting my nails. The reason i’m giving it 3 stars is because of the price and the fact that my nails turned out different than what I originally showed my nail technician in a photo. The nails look pretty cute, however again they aren’t exactly what I wanted. The price was also more on the expensive side. I got a full set of 2cm acrylic nails and they came out to be around $70. The service was great and the people were kind, but few of them will try to upsell or persuade you to do certain colors.

My mom and I have been to this salon quite a few times over the last few years, but have been trying out other ones in the last year. We went back on Friday evening (9/6) because we remembered always having a good experience there, and this visit sealed the deal.We arrived at around 6pm, I got a dip manicure and she got a full set. We were totally blown away! Jimmy was my moms tech, and he is AMAZING. We could tell he really loves what he does, and that he had fun working with her to create a unique set. She got floral foil designs on her thumbs and pinkies, chrome on the middle fingers, and rhinestone designs on her pointer and ring fingers. These are truly THE BEST nails she has ever gotten.His attention to detail is just insane. He shaped each nail and applied the designs meticulously--they turned out perfect. I remember getting a full set from him a couple years ago and those were probably the best nails Ive ever gotten, too.We ended being there until 9:30, and hour and a half after they closed, but he didnt sacrifice the quality of his work one bit. We tipped generously and know to make an appointment for next time, but we were just amazed at how gracious they were to us even after they closed and should have been going home.They will work with you to create whatever you can dream up and are just so nice and personable. Cannot recommend this salon enough, especially Jimmy!

I just move to this area, I had been to different places for my pedicure manicure. Exquisite nails is my place. Their staffs are very friendly, nice, and so clean. I’ll be back. Love them.

Got a pedicure yesterday evening and it was not even 10 minutes. No leg or foot massage, barely put lotion on my legs and definitely not on my feet. Worked a full day today and my nail polish ripped off one of my nails. Not worth $30 AT ALL. I give it one star because it was clean and the massage chair worked 🤷🏼‍♀️

I first discovered this gem about 4 years ago and have made it my go to ever since. The staff is always very accommodating and friendly. I started to bring my daughter with when we get our fancy nails for trips and now whenever we have a girls day the first question is, Can we go where they paint the flower on my nails? We cannot wait to come back!

I’ve experienced my fair share of pretty bad salons... but finally- i Can’t say enough good things about this one :) there are many salons (in Lakeville) but Id rather drive 25-30 minutes for this place. They are that good! Quality mani/pedis, bonus; personable, genuine, fun people.

They did an amazing job! Me and my cousin were seated right away (I made an appointment but at other places still had to wait long periods of time). the pedicure was AMAZING! This place is really clean and they pay a lot of attention to make sure you are satisfied! Most definitely will be returning!

I love this place the whole staff is friendly. I love my nails everytime they do them and dont go anywhere else. If my nails break they fix it with out any hassle. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I just went to Exquisite Nails for the first time today, and they did an AMAZING job! It is hard to find a place that will do ornate nails at all, let alone do them well. Ive been getting my nails done in the twin cities for nearly 5 years, and this is by far the best manicure I have gotten. HIGHLY recommend. Their prices are very very reasonable as well!

Best massage Ive ever gotten during a pedicure, they go the extra mile and are quick on the nail painting.

One of the most annoying manicures I have ever had. The manicure itself was fine, she did a good job and didn’t hurt my fingers. Where I hated it was the length she cut and filed my nails. On the one hand I said make them all the same length as my pinky nail, instead she cut the two longest all the way down and didn’t touch the other three except to file a bit. So instead of having nice long even length nails like I went in with I have 3 longer ones and 2 short ones (that were nice the others). Super annoyed, I guess you just have to be super adamant about what you.

I saw 3 staff without a mask on Saturday 2/5. They only put on a mask when they were working with a client. The place is also dirty. You expect to see some dust and polish on things, but this was excessive even if we werent in a pandemic and supposed to wipe high touch surfaces often.

Very good service but Prices have gone up significantly from last time I remember I went there about 1.5 yrs ago.

I dont go anywhere else! I love sitting with Lyly but I dont mind seeing someone else because they all do great work.

I’m very disappointed at my own experience due to all of the wonderful reviews I saw before going in. The woman who started my nails seemed to be very experienced and she offered up conversation with me as well. I was getting a new full set of fake nails. Right before the step where they were going to be filed and shaped, the woman passed me off to another tech because she had another client to see. I didn’t think it was a big deal at all, until this new tech appeared very hesitant and inexperienced. She spent the next ten minutes filing at my nails but you wouldn’t know based on the end result. I have never been this disappointed after getting my nails done, and hate asking for mistakes to be fixed. I wanted coffin shaped nails, fairly long. All of my nails are inconsistent and shipped and jagged on the sides. She even started filing them again before the final top coat was completely dry so some edges of the polish are rough. I’m sad I paid $50(with tip) for nails I could have filed better myself...and tempted to do so just to fix them. I’m afraid to go in as I don’t want to be treated rudely. 😞

I had a very bad experience today. I asked to the lady at the entrance to have a woman doing my nails due to a previous bad experience with a man doing my manicure. She seemed to be upset and started working on my nails acting very rude. At the end my nails were ok, tipped for her work, but honestly it wasn’t a pleasure to go there for a “relaxing “ moment.At the moment my fingers hurt, she nailed the sides very rough. Definitely not coming back ever again.

I’ve gone to Exquisite for a long time and always loved it. This last time was a miss. My nail tech gave me an attitude for pointing out a flaw with one of my nails. And now, a week later... nearly every single nail is chipped. Very disappointed and I rarely complain. I also won’t have time to come back and get it fixed which is a bummer

I have always had a great experience with Jimmy and his wife. I followed them from when they worked at another salon in West Saint Paul and West Saint Paul was so much closer, they are worth the drive. Jimmy has been doing my nails for 23 years and his wife has been doing my pedicures for at least 16 years, never once a negative experience of any kind. I have never once seen them or their staff treat anyone poorly or be rude. Best in the business and worth every penny!! 😀

I have been going here for about a year now. I have never had a good experience, but it was bearable mostly cause this is the only salon close to my house. Today after a hard day of work I went there to get a manicure. I had acrylic nails on, so I decided to remove it and let my natural nails grow and be healthy again. The lady that helped me was upset that I wanted to remove them rather than refill them. She instantly became rude and starting pulling and tugging on my fingers and arms. I literally felt like Someone was ripping my nails off one by one. She did such a sloppy job painting my nails. I could have seen my actual nail under the nail polish. Then when I was drying my nail and looked at them it was super wrinkly and she said that it’s my fault for putting my hands too close to the fan. I said okay and moved my hands farther away from the fan. She ended up redoing my ring finger nail. Then when she was done, I went to dry my nails and this time I made sure I put my hands far away from the fan, but she grab my hands and pull it closer to the fan instead of just asking me. I was keeping my cool at this point. After leaving, I went to itch my ear and my nails were so shape it cut my ear. I got home and waited at least 2 hours for my nails to dry and it just wont. So It ended getting ruined. I had to remove the nail polish and now I’m sitting here with unpolished nails.

The staff were all really nice and they seem to know what they are doing, but they arent very transparent or consistent with pricing.I went there with my bridesmaids the week before my wedding and people who got the same or very similar services were charged vastly different amounts. One was charged for more than she signed for. After tip, her total was $80 or so, and her bank statement showed they charged over $120.Hopefully just a one time mistake, but I got the same services and was charged more than $20 more...My nails looked good though.

Been going to exquisite nails for awhile now and I wouldnt trust any other shop with my nails! Staff are super friendly and actually puts in 100% effort to make sure youre satisfied by the end of the day and for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this nail shop to everyone.

As a person with very weak nails that continually flaked, bent like paper and would split down the middle, I cannot say enough about Exquisite Nails. Usually a manicure was merely a stop-gap method that never helped my problem nails, but after coming here for several months, Jimmy has worked with my nails so that now they are stronger and healthier. No more splitting or weakness, and my nails look beautiful, thanks to Jimmys expertise!

Just an ok pedicure. Been there before and it was great not this time though. Had to ask twice to have the water warmed, made an appointment but it still felt very rushed. The color I chose had many clumps in it he had to keep adding liquid to thin it out vs just asking me to pick a new color.I just came home and took my nail polish which was tough to do due to being 33 weeks pregnant.Although they did do a nice job sanding off a majority of the dead skin on my heals.My husband got his 1st pedicure today as well and I wanted to show him how great it was. He thought it was fine but doesn’t have anything to compare it to but still felt it could have been better for him as well.Disappointed, not a great experience sadly.

Jimmy and Vang are absolutely amazing! I have went to them sense I was probably 7 years old and I’m now 24! Followed them from west st paul to Savage. My mom and I both drive an hour just to see them. The shop is always clean and inviting, I have trust issues with my toes because of my bad toe nail and they always make them better without making it hurt! I would recommend them to anyone!

My very first visit and it was marvelous. The owner gave me my pedicure! You should see his invention for removing calluses and dry skin! My feet feel amazing. Like a babys bottom!! I highly recommend this place!!!

Last week I had a full set of pink and whites put on by Van. A week later all my nails lifted. I reached out on multiple occasions during that week and left several messages with her staff trying to get in and have her fix them. Van never returned my phone calls nor did she try and reach out to correct the problem. I find her unprofessional and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I recently switched over here from a place I’d been going to for over 15 years that went way downhill. Amazing service, fun and friendly people and omg my nails are gorgeous !! Found my new home.. thank you everyone for taking great care of me 🤗🤗

The worst nails i’ve ever gotten done. I would give this -2 stars if i could. I chose a light pink, what they put on was hot pink. My nails weren’t smooth whatsoever and there were dents all over my nails. I was too scared to say anything so i paid full price and left the store. My friend convinced me i needed to go back, so i did. I sat back down, the nail lady just put the new color over my old and so they ended up looking thick and bulky, and again not smooth.So i spent another $55 to get my nails redone at another place! What a waste of $100 in one week.

Jimmy and his wife always provide us with excellent customer service, a great experience, and always remember me and my wifes name. I will only go to this nail salon.

Without a doubt, BY FAR the best salon I have ever been to! This was my first experience at Exquisite Nails and I was so impressed that Im leaving a review (and I HATE leaving reviews... lol) TT has gel nails down to a science and I have never had anywhere near such a flawless job done before. I got them done yesterday and have been stopped by 4 different strangers to tell me how beautiful my nails are and to ask where I get them done... Youd be doing yourself a disservice to go anywhere else. Its well priced, clean, polite and friendly, as well as extremely well done. Two thumbs up. :D

He spent a lot of time making sure the shape was perfect for me and I walked out happier then I ever have been after getting my nails done!! Normally I leave a salon a little disappointed but i am ecstatic! I never write reviews but I had to! Book with Qui, it’s pronounced we and you will love your nails!! Never going to a different place again! They also have great prices!

My two daughters and I have been coming to this salon loyally since 2016. My oldest and I always tipped $20 for manicures (My stiletto pink and whites on natural nail bed costs $80) and My youngest always tipped $10. Pedicures were always tipped $10 ($55).We were loyal customers who always showed up on time for appts and we were polite and always friendly with the staff. So even though you pay a premium for your services, youll still be treated as less than. We are not returning to this salon.Its not due to Jimmy but his staff. When he is not in, the staff represent the business and this is how the staff treated My daughter and I... Unacceptable and Never again.My daughter had an appt@ noon with Jimmy on Oct 27. He did not come into the salon due to circumstances. The current staff didnt honor My daughters appt. We were given a simple apology and sent away. No prior contact by them to inform us of them cancelling the appt.I asked if any other tech was available and was told they were completely booked all day... Yet they disregard My daughters time, My time and My daughters original scheduled appt. You know they were still taking walk ins... There were six techs working...Over the last three years coming in monthly, Ive never witnessed this salon turn any scheduled appts away when the customer showed up. My daughter was the very first client turned away with no compromise on their behalf.Why they chose to do this to us, I dont know but we will not tolerate this. Well just find another nail salon in MN cuz there is one nail salon every mile apart here.I was in the salon on Oct 22, getting my own manicure and pedicure when I scheduled My daughters appt. I was aware of the circumstances surrounding Jimmys schedule and was apprehensive about booking for Saturday but by his staffs suggestion, they claimed he was available on the 27th.They were so Wrong... He was not in and they knew this information for five days, yet they didnt contact Me to reschedule and wasted our time by just refusing service when we arrived even though they were still taking walk ins throughout the day.Our time is more valuable than that and we expect any business to be reasonable with us as Good customers.Professional courtesy is always expected by us and we accept nothing less than this. On to the next nail salon we go.😁
