Whole family was 4 years until front office staff told me yes my insurance covered cleanings after the one year mark. They supposedly checked after I told them to double check. Well they booked us 6 days earlier than coverage and are now billing me for their mistake for the cleanings. Front office always has someone new who doesnt know anything and uses the Amy smiles as a decoy for the lack of caring and looking out for their patients. Left after four years. Going back to my PPO plan office and dentist I love.. Vast disparities in quality of staff. Will never go to HMO again. Not worth it. Dont let the reviews on here fool you. Its not the first time was billed or upcharge out of coverages.

Everyone here is wonderful! I was having trouble with my dental insurance and the way they were handling a claim and the ladies at the front desk were able to get it corrected right away! All of the care I have received has also been great! Highly recommend!

Dr. Castellano leads the way in the dental industry. He explains everything he is doing and you can just tell that he enjoys and takes pride in his work. His prime concern is keeping the patient comfortable, informed, and relaxed, even during the most extensive procedures.I highly recommend seeing him for all of your dental needs. My boyfriend dislikes going to the dentist, but he was in so much pain i had to take him. They needed to pull a tooth. Ann and Dr Castellano talked about everything before they did it. They take pride in what they do and are both very caring. It was so quick and easy and not a lot of pain. We definitely will be using them going forward for all of our dentist needs.

Victoria was amazing with her professionalism and care in cleaning my teeth. I can honestly say it was the best experience with education and care of my teeth without criticism or making me feel embarrassed that it was something I was neglecting.

I am a patient at Bayview Dental. I have always had severe anxiety about going to the dentist, even for a simple cleaning. For the first time in my 62 years of life, I can honestly say I have no fear of going to Bayview.Dr. Castellano is amazing! He is very caring, compassionate, gentle, and has fixed some very difficult, damaged teeth without pain. Even getting shots of novocain havent hurt. He has made my teeth look beautiful and I can actually smile now without being self conscious. His dental assistants are wonderful and take the time to actually talk to you. They are great listeners and care about you as a person. The office staff is also great! They are very accommodating, especially when you are having an emergency. They never leave you hanging or fail to answer calls or questions. I can not say enough about how much I appreciate this practice and their whole team!

As a dental hygienist for 40 years, l knew exactly what qualities to look for in a dental practice. Bayview was close to my home, so l tried them first. Amy at the front desk has always been so helpful. The doctors have never pressured me into any work that wasnt necessary. The hygienists have always done a very thorough cleaning, very comfortable. The fees are fair. I would recommend the practice to anyone!

I just had my first visit at BayView Dental yesterday and it was an awesome experience. This is the third dentist I’ve been to in the past six months as I kept searching for one that didn’t want to sell me everything under the sun. My search is finally over! Dr. Castellano provided a thorough examination complete with explanations of what he found in terms I could understand. My plan of care over the next few visits is going to cost me right around $300 total where the previous two dentists I went to both came up with a plan of care that would have spanned several visits and would have cost me over $2000 total, all as participating providers with my insurance. The entire staff was so nice and welcoming. I’m so glad my search for an awesome dentist here in Sarasota is finally over!

We have had excellent service from Bayview at Stickney Point. All of the staff are so wonderful to us, we consider them family. We go there every four months to have our teeth cleaned and their hygienist is fabulous. We have gone years with no dental issues because they take such good care of our teeth. And, Amy the office manager runs a fabulous office. Never a wait, and always on time.

7/11/21-Decided to give the, another try & had a great experience. Although I may need a crown I felt like the office staff was now stable & all were very professional & pleasant to deal with. They also compared my soon to expire plan with their plan for a crown and are saving me money for this one. I think their plan is good but quite expensive for a crown co pared to dental plans.com. I will probably renew dental plans.com & use that instead of staying on their plan unless they restructure their pricing. Dr Castellano was excellent at explaining what was going on with my teeth.2019 The technician was very nice but I was very disappointed that they tried to charge me a lot higher price than previously quoted. This has happened repeatedly to both my wife and I. It also appears they have a large turnover in their staff as with one year we keep getting different people all the time. We are going to look elsewhere.It’s sad because our first impressions were very good and we recommended them to others. Not anymore.

I was treated and realest with the utmost respect had a button molar pulled out and today I feel great! Thank you all for being there for me.

If I could give zero stars I would. My dental insurance company referred me to Bayview Dental. I needed 1 tooth to be looked at for either a extraction or root canal. They proceeded to take uninsured images, even charging me $111 dollars for magical 2D images (regular camera taking regular picks of each tooth), they said I needed a night mouth guard, I dont, then I have a cavity, I dont.....Before I know it I am referred to their specialist office way up in North Bradenton. So, BEFORE any work is done they slap my Blue Cross with a $914 charge, they covered $347 and I am OUT OF POCKET $567 for NOTHING. If you want to get ripped off and lied to by all means visit Bayview Dental. LIES their response! My insurance company didnt cover your phantom insurance codes. BAYVIEW DENTAL IS A FRAUD!

Refreshing to finally have a positive visit to the dentist! Having recently moved back to Sarasota after a 10 years and wanting to find a new dentist rather than go back to my old one I opted to try Bayview.They were timely, pleasant, and helpful, everything was explained procedure wise and the cost estimates were broken down so you could understand them . They answered every question I had and were able to schedule in an emergency crown quickly.If youre new in town or just looking for a dentist then I highly recommend you give BayView a call!
