The staff at Sterling Dental were extremely welcoming as I entered the office. The receptionist Nita was very prompt, welcoming and efficient in her performance. Sofia the dental assistant went above and beyond; she was very kind and understood every ounce of my anxieties and made sure that I felt comfortable the entire time. The hygienist Georgette was very gentle and experienced with the prophy. Dr. Smith was very thorough with my exam explaining my treatment plan and offered me great guidance. Overall encounter was the best experience at a dentist I have ever been to. I would strongly recommend this office for your dental needs.

The negative repercussions of choosing Dr. Smith as the dentist to work on my mouth were enormous.I am appalled by the carelessness and arrogance of Dr. Smith. Not only did I face a plethora of physical and emotional pain, I lost the $22,000 I paid him in the process (plus additional costs).Unfortunately, I have a predisposed genetic condition that requires crowns on all my teeth. It was time for me to have them re-done and Dr. Smith assured me that his work would result in just as beautiful a smile as any endodontist. He was 100% wrong.Not only did his “little screw-ups” (for example, an additional dark grey line on one front crown, all grey crowns on my other teeth and ginormous buck-teeth) cause trauma to both me and my teeth, they caused me to have to miss many classroom instructional days (I was a first-grade teacher 5 hours away).Due to his continuous mistakes, I needing to have my crowns taken off my teeth 3 times (4 for one tooth) in the span of half a year!It took Dr. Smith a full year to finish the job (which other dentists typically would complete in two sittings). The take-away here is that Dr. Smith pretended to have the skill of a cosmetic dentist and even an Endodontist, which he clearly does not.I was put through a ton of emotional and physical pain and never once did Dr. Smith admit to his wrong-doings. Instead, he blamed me, making it seem as though his errors were my fault.In addition, Dr. Smith’s crown on my back tooth has come off three times in less than a year, so I’m concerned with how long his crowns will even last.Dr. Smith’s behavior was shockingly arrogant. His incompetence was completely acknowledged by the other dentist who ended up fixing his mess by re-doing my top teeth (making them look beautiful).Unfortunately, I still need to live with the ugly grey bottom teeth and the wrong-sized back teeth until I can save up the thousands of dollars to have them re-done properly. Dr. Smith has refused to return my money to me, even though his work needs to be corrected and the crowns he put on my teeth need to be replaced.Save yourself a nightmare situation and find another dentist.If Dr. Smith agrees to reimburse me the thousands of dollars I paid him for a horrific job that is unacceptable to live with, I will let you know, and update this review.I am not asking Dr. Smith to compensate me for any other expenses incurred by the trauma he inflicted on me. However, I do expect him to do the right thing and return to me the money I paid him for a job he had no qualifications to take on in the first place, so I can pay a competent dentist to fix all his mistakes.

I’m a patient who’s always been prone to getting cavities so I’ve visited my fair share of dentists. I found the practice to be exemplary in both the care of the facility and the patients, which is a must in dental field. In the current COVID-19 environment I’ve found Sterling Dental’s office to be comforting in the obvious precautions taken and the overall relaxed but attentive employees. The dentist himself has clear command of technique and tools and his direct handling was firm but gentle. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone.

I drive 80+ miles one way, usually 3 times a year, just to have Georgette clean my teeth. She has been my hygienist of choice for many years, while I lived in Sarasota, and now in Estero. Shes the best! And I recently had need of Dr. Smith to attach an old crown that inadvertently came off. I asked his advice about some cosmetic bonding for a chipped tooth and he did a fantastic job for that procedure as well. This is the BEST DENTAL OFFICE there is...BAR NONE! Great experience here overal. The staff is friendly and very understanding. I was initially embarrased about broken teeth, cavities and dental issues affecting my smile. Everyone in the office made me feel welcome and I was comfortable very quickly. This is one of the most difficult obstacles to overcome with any dentist and dental office, let alone seeing a dentist you have never been to before. I believe first impressions are important and Sterling Dental sold me from the minute I walked into the office. The office is comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The receptionist did a great job walking me through the new patient paperwork before I was called back to see the dentist. I had came in due to a chipped tooth and Dr. Smith repaired it in less than 15 minutes. Not only did I get competative price to fix my tooth but I appreciated how he explained the procedure to me. Nothing against the hygienist or dental staff. They are all wonderful. The business itself does not conduct good business. Overcharging you for something you can get online. Like the zoom whitening 22%. The same product you can get for $27 on Amazon and some other company, and their response is that it is illegal and fake. Listen Amazon, you are selling fake products. Have someone done told me that this product is available somewhere, I would have not pain $250. I have a bad experience with the product that led me to research online about it and found out that the prouduct is available over the counter. And all they said is that they have not heard about people having bad reaction reaction and that they could not do anything about it. So beware about their services and product. After all they really just care about is making money.

Went for the appointment and I was called in by the Hygienist and asked questions about X Rays then the Receptionist came in and said that this would be a TWO - PART Visit because the Hygienist wasnt there today. I was NOT told this over the phone when I made the appointment. I got up and asked for my paperwork and left. This wasnt what I expected and the office had no other patients and I wonder why??? Great way to gain new patients! I should have read the reviews first. My mistake. Im quite sure that I would have walked out of there paying MORE than $59 if I had stayed thats what others are saying. I feel Lucky that I decided to leave. I wont be back and I will surely be spreading the news around town about this experience. I was not happy they wasted my time!
