Several months ago I had a procedure performed by Dr. Bolds. He and his staff are very caring and professional. I was initially nervous, but Dr. Bolds and his assistant were very understanding and made me feel comfortable (as much as going to the dentist could be) as they explained every step of the process along the way. The front office staff is also incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. I highly recommend Sarasota Dental Specialties.

Dr. Bolds is an excellent doctor. His work and bed side manner is something to set an example by, Jess is just as good being his other hand! They did a root canal on me and I was not happy with needing one, by they put my worries to ease and I felt virtually no pain! Amazing office thank you!

The doctor experience was fine. The billing has been horrible. I have Careington and Aetna discount plans. I was told I would be getting even a better discount than my plans afford, then I was charged several times as much as I normally pay for an initial visit, and on top of that charged for xrays at several times the plan rate. I called and was told that since these were specialists the rates are different. I was however not informed of this at time of visit. I called spoke to someone in the office and they apologized and told me they would not charge me for the x-rays, that a mistake had been made. Couple months later I got a bill again and a rude person told me that they dont know who I talked to and I need to pay the bill. Very unpleasant experience with billing

I recently had two implants performed by Dr. Ross. He and his staff are very caring and professional. I was very nervous about the procedure initially. Dr. Ross is highly skilled and made me feel very comfortable as he explained every step of the process along the way. He Followed up with me personally that evening to see how I was feeling. I have one more implant to schedule in the future and although this is not something I look forward to, I know that I will be in good hands. Dr Ross was phenomenal he explained the procedure needed in depth and left no room for questions. I left knowing and understanding the treatment that was recommended. Dr. Ross is very professional and knowledgeable. He performed the most thorough exam I have ever had and explains things so that a layman can understand.

Dr. Ross and Jess and Yvette are great, caring people. Dr. Ross explained my gum graft procedure very well, answered all my questions, and was very gentle during the procedure. Jess was SO patient and accommodating when she had to redo my packing. Follow up was very complete. I will return.

Nice experience with Dr Ross. I had periodontal evaluation with very informative explanations for my situation. Front office and office staff are really friendly, but office itself a little bit old modern.Unfortunately doctor will be out of the office until end of August, which put me a little bit off of my plans... But overall it was a good experience with my first visit to Sarasota Dental Specialties!

I was referred by my ear nose and throat specialist to be fitted for a device to address both snorring and TMJ pain. The visit went great. Everyone was helpful and professional. Dr Ross explained what I needed and what would occur at each of the following appointments. My only difficulty was finding the building and the parking lot for it. Next visit will be easy!
