Not only do they give stellar, stylish haircuts, but they are cheerful and the place is ridiculously clean. The atmosphere is welcoming and hip. I truly can’t imagine bringing my family to any other place. It is by far the best barbershop in Sarasota.

An amazing barbershop that makes you feel like somebody. A lot of businesses take their clients for granted, but this one does not. They actually make you feel good and they thank you for choosing them. This is one of the cleanest barbershops I’ve ever been to. They are extremely professional and the quality is superb! Jean Carlos has been my go to guy for over 2 years now, whether Im looking for a nice fade, military cut, trim or doing a different hair cut style. He never disappoints and always takes the time to make sure you have a great cut. He is down to earth and an overall awesome guy! Highly recommend him! The shop is always clean and always greeted with a friendly welcome.

After three years of routinely getting haircuts here, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. Today, again, for the fourth time in a row, not one barber or customer was wearing a mask besides myself during the second wave of a pandemic. If you value your health, this is not the place for you. I have made appointments in advance first thing in the morning to avoid being exposed to many people, but again not ONE of the barbers have masks on. I must say Jean is very professional and a great barber, no complaints on that end. The rest of the staff is simply not very professional. On top of the lack of concern for the safety and health of their customers, another barber engaged in a political talk with a customer and shared very strong opinions in front of other costumers who were clearly uncomfortable. Simply not professional. I was recommended Shear Styles, where the staff takes a pandemic seriously. I hope they start taking the pandemic more seriously, for their health and the costumers.

I get my haircut every two weeks when Im in my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA (Eddies Haircut Shop in Kennedy Twp).But my two weeks coincided while we were in Siesta Key, and my hair is super thick. If I hadnt gotten it cut, it would have been really long by the time I got home.So after some research, I made an appointment here at The Barbershop 941. Jose did an amazing job, and I can pretty much sum up the review by saying that if I lived in the area, this is where Id get cut at. And I will next time Im down here, hopefully sooner rather than later!

Been in Sarasota since March staying w family during Covid, and had to find a place to get my hair cut. What i look for is comfort and obviously looking good when i walk out. This is the right spot for that.I‘ve gone to Abby regularly and she does an amazing job, she’s better at fading than any hair cutter I’ve been to, and her attention to detail making sure everything is perfectly lined up is appreciated. Not only that but the haircut itself is mad comfortable. Buzzer low key feels like a massage.She’s great to talk to, while also remaining focus on the task at hand. The shop itself has a great atmosphere. Whenever I’m in Florida, I’ll be coming back and getting my haircut by Abby.

This place is awesome. Clean and nice. Forget about the typical barbershop, chaotic, where music is played at high volume. Barbers are very polite. Rudy the owner is a Master barber, literally a real one. I drove 20 minutes just to go there and will continue doing it.

Good atmosphere and fair price. I got my hair cut with Jean Carlos and I am not impressed at all. He managed to cut me while buzzing(I’ve never been cut during a haircut). I showed him a picture of my last hair cut and it was clear he couldn’t replicate the quality of my last barber.

Had a 7:30 appointment for my son tonight. Got there maybe 10-15 minutes Early because I know they close at 8 and I figured if they got him a little earlier they would be able to close on time. When I arrived there were maybe 2 other clients and 4 barbers. (One was cutting his own hair, whatever.) Mine was supposed to be Jean Carlos (which I’ve never met. Could’ve been the self groomer, idk.) the appointment time comes and we’re still not addressed 15 minutes pass and still not acknowledged, no one even walks over to let us know why there is a wait or that they will be with us next so I simply got up and left and I will not be back. Unprofessional.

Every hair cut my teenage boys have here is their favorite. Seriously a great, local, affordable, quality shop in Sarasota. We have had haircuts done by several people and it’s always a great style. They treat you well and the shop has fun vibe inside. I do not take them anywhere else. Can’t wait until they are open again after COVID 19 restrictions are lifted.

Heard great things about barbershop 941 and use to go to old shop most worked on hillview. Took my son for his haircut decided that I wanted a nice cut clean maybe a children’s shop couldn’t give that to me a barber shop could. Welp I was wrong he looks goofy. Expected that for a $12hair cut not a barbershop. Lesson learned

The barbershop 941 barbers Ill do a good job but personally I prefer Jean pichardo he goes above and beyond lots of attention to detail and his fades are The best I could find anywhere close to the Sarasota area so if you need I cut I would advise anyone to give him a call 🤙🏾

I moved from Chicago in September of 19 and got beard and hair cuts at a handful of places that just couldnt get the quality I was searching for. I can honestly say that after my experience with Matt, I will go nowhere else. Extremely detailed and probably the best beard and hair cut I have ever had, anywhere. Pricing was very reasonable as well.

Both of my sons (18 & 22 yrs old) have been going to Barbershop 941 since it pretty much opened. I cant rave enough about Rudy and his staff. Not only do they do amazing precision work but they make your experience enjoyable. Their cuts are always impeccable. All the barbers are perfectionists and want you leaving happy. The shop is always immaculate. They offer a beverage while you wait, music is always great, and the entire staff is pleasant. I have a son that lives out of state that cant wait to come home to visit so he can get his haircut at Barbershop 941. With that being said, I want to give props to Rudy and staff.

I just moved here from New York and honestly I was a little nervous about going to a new Barber I have been going to the same Barber for 7 years and my haircut was perfect. I chose to go see Matt for my haircut due to his great reviews online and I can honestly tell you that this was probably one of the best haircuts Ive gotten in my life. He was very friendly and tedious leaving no error in my cut. I will most definitely be usinghim from now on.

Today I booked an online appointment with Abby mainly to trim my beard before my brother and his fiancee fly in tomorrow. It was a last minute, impulsive decision, just to clean myself up before he arrived. Abby is a passionate, intelligent, and an uncommonly kind young woman. Not only was the entire hour (or hour and a half) extremely relaxing, the conversation was...just perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to Abby the entire time. I enjoyed every minute of it except when I needed to leave 😆I walked in a grizzly mess with long hair and a messy, unkempt beard. I let her to do whatever she thought would look the best, not looking at all until she was completely done. The result was genuine perfection. I have never felt so good about the way Ive looked before and I feel kinda bad because when asked, I was speechless which may or may not have made her unsure about how I felt about what she had done. If I could pay in advance to have her cut my hair the rest of my life, Id do it tomorrow. Just...absolute perfection.

All I can say is that Matt hooked it up. I told him what I wanted and he did just that. The shop looked very nice and clean and gave a great first impression. I will definitely be going back.

Really cool place. Everytime I get a haircut here everyone compliments me about it the next day. Their barbers are really nice and they really know what they are doing. After you get a haircut the put some type of cream or gel (Im not sure) on the edges and they put a wet, warm towel around your head which is very relaxing, thats my favorite part. It is really awesome.

I have been everywhere in town to get my son his hair cut and deal with his terrible cowlick. Nobody has ever given him a decent haircut. Until yesterday. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of his barber, but he was FANTASTIC and super patient with me. The place was clean, everyone in there super professional and friendly. The guys were all talking to my son through his temper tantrum about having to continue sitting still. I will never go anywhere else.

Literally the best barber shop Ive ever visited. Everything you dislike about barber shops they have perfected to an art. Customer service is five star, appointments are not only welcomed they are cherished (if you have an appointment your barber will literally wait for you to get there and not take walk ins), every barber here is an expert in every hair type and trending cut. Yes they are slightly more expensive than your traditional barber but the value exceeds the cost by miles. I highly recommend this place!
