I first met Bryan when the shop next door said I needed to replace the motor on my BMW 745i ($5000+) and Bryan diagnosed and fixed the problem for FREE. Ever since I’ve taken all my British, German, and Japanese vehicles to Bryan and Dan for service. It’s refreshing to have a mechanic shop that is honest, capable, and just nice to deal with. Renaissance is a rare gem in Sarasota!

We’ve used Bryan as our mechanic for over 30 years, for all of our cars, and started with him in Houston. He is the most honest person that we know and often even gives us advice on the phone. We know customers that cried when he moved from Houston over 20 years ago. Their loss, our gain! Friendly, knowledgeable, fair, and fastidious. We recommend him to everyone because it’s so rare to find the real deal anymore and he really is The Man!

Went to look at a car to buy and Scott the owner was very rude didnt like the fact I ran a car fax on car ! Talked to me In a very condescending demeanor ! When I told him I hear he has a very good shop thats why I send any new customers that come to my shop with Jaguars to him he told me youve only sent me 2 customers thats not a lot ! I dont know what this guys problem is but he will no longer be getting my business Ive been in business for 32 years never will I ever send ANY CUSTOMERS FOR ANYTHING HIS WAY!!! The car I was looking at sat there for 6 months paint faded never cleaned had dents and oil leaks, he told me to make an offer and I offered him $995 less than the sticker and he pretty much through my business card back at me so ended up driving to largo found same car lower miles way better condition for cheaper price !!! It took everything I could not to punch him in his mouth !!! Thank you Jesus for giving me the strength to walk away!!! Ill pray for you and your business and pray customers will read this and be warned!!!!

I bought a 1987 Jaguar XJ6 without knowing one thing about Jags. The owner took amazing care of me and answered all of my questions without judgment. He repaired my window then 3 months later it had the same issue. I brought it back in and he repaired it for free and it has worked perfectly ever since. Stand up team and honorable services! 5 Stars all the way!

Their mechanic Dave is terrific, however, we found out that mgmt. doesnt always tell you the whole story about problems with the car. We were suspicious after something was overheard about the transmission and went to Jesses Garage for a full diagnostic check. Sure enough Renaissance was not telling us about many serious existing and upcoming problems, and we will never go there again. Very disappointed with Brian who we had trusted.

Excellent service and fair prices

Very comfortable with the expertise to service my Jaguar. I am a car guy that will do routine maintenance myself, but beyond the basics I need a trustworthy and knowledgeable shop and I found one. I have used the Land Rover/Jag dealer here, and they are ok, but insanely expensive. Renaissance definitely knows my car. Clearly they had seen the problem before and were able to explain my options over the phone. I got three quotes around town, and theirs was actually the lowest. No brainer. Work was done on time and for the exact estimate. I would recommend them.

Wish I could say I was happy with my transaction. The salesman lied to me at ever turn through the purchase of the vehicle. When I called on the car I was told it was flawless, and he claimed it had a clean car fax. After driving three hours to look at this flawless car I arrived to the car having a damaged front passenger seat. I can overcome that but the car fax he showed me was for a different car and I had no idea. Thought it was weird he wouldnt print it for me though....So now I am selling this car and guess what??? The real car fax shows 2 accidents prior to my purchase. Story here is dont trust this company because they are scam artist. Please let my lose be your lesson and choose a more reputable used car lot to purchase from.
