Theo absolutely do not have enough reliable help. Took seven days to replace my AC unit. They did not account for other materials that needed to be with them on the same day to replace the old unit. It was a big mess and it wasn’t very unprofessional, AC was hooked up but there was nothing covering up the big plastic tunnels to inside house they left it unfinished for seven days.. It was not appropriate to have that blowing around in the air especially when we had a hurricane on the way. Besides the huge deposit I had to put now. They said they finished in time and which they did not but yet they cashed my. Check before the job was even completed .I surely hope Thandie owner of the company can improve the quality, and professionalism and make sure that everything is upfront with the customer. I had no clue that I would be waiting seven days for it to be finished. The guy that worked outside to put the intake vents in. What is a dirty slob all kinds of Mark song my wood floor I’m still trying to get out. Plus where is my other vent intake cover they never have come back to finish the job inside.. I never heard one phone calls no message no email to the effect that they have the rest of the intake cover with filter. I guess they’re just happy that they got all that money out of me, and I guess that just goes to prove he don’t pay until they do the job right the first time. Still waiting on intake cover and filter up to just stay still. 😤
Before Airrific, we called two companies after 5PM and both said they would send someone and never called back to confirm. Airrific sent someone immediately (WIlliam, very personable and thorough) and it was well past 8PM when he left. Without him we would have spend a very difficult night with no AC.
This business was impressive from the start of setting up a time to look at the unit to actually coming on site and fixing it right away. Very efficient and good people. I will be using them again for maintenance or repairs.
Todd came out to take a look at my busted A/C and told me that I had a freon leak somewhere. He told me that it would be a week before someone could get out to do a leak test that would cost $300 and that they would call me to set it up. In the meantime, he said he could fill my unit with freon to hold me over, assuring me that if it was a big leak that he would hear it, but otherwise a small leak would last months. Todd filled my machine, claimed to not hear a leak, charged me over $600, and then left. The next day, my A/C was already not working again so I called out a different company, remembering that he said it would be a week before they could do a leak test.The new company sent a tech out 2 days later and found that I had no freon again. After putting a little bit in he heard the leak immediately and described it as the second loudest hes ever heard and said there was no way Todd could have missed it. When he turned off the compressor, even I could very clearly hear the leak (a step Todd didnt bother to take). The repair tech, who came out later, was also able to immediately hear the leak. In the end, the new company found the leak, repaired it, and filled my unit with freon for less than Todd charged to do nothing.I called to request a refund for making such an obvious error but Todd refused and got upset I hired another company (who would wait a week in Florida summer for AC repair?). He also tried to change the facts, claiming he said hed have someone contact me and come out in 48 hours (he said a week, and in 72 hours nobody ever called me), claiming he would have refunded the freon if hed come out again (he said at the time that I would have to pay for freon again if it all leaked out even in such a short time frame), and claiming he left in a hurry because of the rain (it didnt start raining until he was already packing up), which is also why he said he couldnt take a more careful look at the unit.All in all, a terrible experience. Go somewhere else if you want service that cares or service that isnt overpriced.

The install guys were not only on time and VERY polite, but you could tell they loved their jobs...one guy was singing happily and whistling, I took my airpods out and listened while I worked because it made me chuckle :). Not only were they the best priced by THOUSANDS, but after popping out and returning once they’d left, I came home to a clean/crisp smelling house that was perfectly chilled (just the way I like it lol). I have had Trane systems in a few houses, and think the Trane equipment is first rate. However, I have never had a better experience with an HVAC contractor. Outstanding.

My ac stopped working on July 1, so I called Arriffic who installed the unit 3 years ago. Jimmy Johnson came out and said I needed a new compressor and evaporator coil. It would be a week to get the part in & would cost me $2000.00 in labor. The parts are under warranty.Eight days later I got a second opinion. Casey from Discount Air took 6# of coolant out of the over filled tank & my ac has been working ever since. FOR $75.00. No parts required.That is the most dishonest thing that has ever been pulled on me. Shame on you Todd and your tech at Airriffic!,,
Highly Recommended!Two of my biggest fears are taking my car to a mechanic and calling an air conditioner repair company - Ive been ripped off too many times before. Friday night, I had an issue with my (very old) air conditioner and I called Airrific because they do after hours emergency repair. First thing Todd Case (the owner) says is boy, this is a pretty old unit at which I brace myself for another bad experience. It ended up being a great experience. Todd was polite, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He explained everything he was checking and he educated me on why each thing he checked was important. There were a few things he thought were going to be problems (above and beyond what I called him for) and when he checked them they were fine. $185 later, he was done and my family did not have to sweat through the weekend. Before leaving, he taught me some things I can do on my own for preventative maintenance and he recommended I consider adding a UV light to the air handler to improve air quality for my family.When you meet a business owner who loves what he does, who cares about his customers and who knows if he does the right thing by the customer he will make more money from the loyalty it generates - you found a diamond in the rough. Airrific is Terrific!

Updated Jan 29, 2021. Outstanding service explanation from technician. He suggested installing a UV light to prevent mold, which I refused due to the price. November 25, 2019: I downgraded my original five-star rating after replacing the motor that was still under warranty. Airrific charged $85 warranty processing fee AS WELL as charging an extra hourly fee of $97.50 labor for driving to Tampa to retrieve the part. And they charged $85 service call plus $97.50 hourly fee to diagnose the problem, then $97.50 labor to replace the part...altogether I paid $462.50 to replace a part under warranty. The actual time needed to replace it was 10 minutes.

The company has been responsive and fair so i am updating my review.I wanted to be happy with this unit. Todd said I was getting a quality unit and thats why his quote was higher than others. The unit is much louder than my 20 year old unit and Im sorry I purchased it. I dont have sensitive hearing and this unit is so loud it wakes me up at night . I see other reviews of how rude Todd was and I experienced the same bad attitude and treatment. Zero customer service skills.

We had a new AC installed back in February. Todd had come for a routine maintenance cleaning, and discovered that our 13 yr old system in a newly purchased home was covered in black mold. The cost of restoring it was hardly worth it. At that moment, my young son was in the middle of surgery due to his allergies. I was upset, and Todd was extremely empathetic to our situation. He moved the schedule around, and had a brand new unit installed the very next morning. Bobby was our installer, and he answered all of our questions, and did a great job. Todd came back a few days later to check on everything, and has been so kind to always ask about my son. An added bonus is that our electric bills have gone down significantly. We are very pleased, and recommend Airrific to our friends. They came highly recommended from our good friends.

No repairs were necessary. They actually took pictures of the unit because of the poor work performed by Airrific. POST REVIEW..Peculiar the owner in his reply refers to himself in the third person. I suspect he was not the author of the reply. That is all you need to know about Airrific.

Wow, what a great experience! My wife and I just bought our first home and very shortly after moving in, we had to make our first call to get something major fixed: a broken air handler motor. I called Airrific at 5pm on a Tuesday and got a live answer, a ticket created, an email, text AND follow up call telling me who was coming by and when. Wow! Todd showed up around 8pm and quickly diagnosed and replaced the broken part and was extremely friendly and professional, explained to me everything he was doing, and gave us options and explained the benefits of a maintenance contract. Definitely will be sticking with Todd and Airrific for all our HVAC needs and recommending them any chance I get. Big Thanks to the whole team!

Great service! I called late afternoon and they were there the next morning and notified me when they were on there way so I didnt have to wait all day. A snake had clogged my condensate line and backed up my system. Within 45 mins the line was clean, the system was checked, and I was on my way back to work.
The technician, Todd, showed up on time. He was courteous, and knowledgeable about our problem. Our unit is fifteen years old, and he was able to repair it very quickly. I will definitely call them, again.

The installation process went far beyond what is required. They installed fire boxes and metal collars for hose connections, which had not been done previously for the very expensive Trane system.A follow up visit by the owner corrected minor issues.I recommend this firm for the quality of its workmanship. Dealing with an owner of the firm makes a huge difference. Oh yes, and the price was more than fair.

This company is a joke, they were hired back in 2016 to work on our unit at our office after we had a major leak around the intake vent. The roof on our entire building was replaced and when the roofers were done with their part of the job these guys were to put all of the units back on the roof, we had an entirely new unit installed on our space. Instead of putting the units on the correct way their lazy employees dragged the units across the roof cause damage to the brand new roof that was installed. Within a day or two we had to have them come back out because we were still having major leaking around our return vent and found out that they did not do something correctly which caused water to to collect into our ceiling causing more damage to our ceiling tiles (which by the way they did not fix), we still have a leak on the new tiles that we had put in because black mold started growing on the other tiles. In Nov that year our new unit stopped working, called them out and was told a module on the unit was out and needed replaced, the employee who came out to do the repair then came into the office and told me that my thermostat was also bad (not even sure that was true because it worked perfectly fine before they touched it). That employee then proceeded to call someone else and told them to come by and put in a thermostat. The thermostat that was put into our office was obviously used because it was filthy. The bill then gets sent to the landlord who tells them that they werent going to pay it because we are responsible for the first $500 on repairs. I did not receive the bill until Feb or March when someone from their office called and told me that I had a past due bill, I informed them I never received a bill to please send it. Well once I received the bill I saw they were charging me $189 for used thermostat that would have cost me $22 to go and purchase myself from Home Depot. I proceeded to let them know I was not going to be paying for a used thermostat. Well time passed the bill was forgotten about as that happens sometimes. Then Todd the owner called my office threatening my employees and then called me screaming, cussing me, and threatening me. He then tells me that he will come and take the part off until I pay the bill which I proceed to tell him yet again I will not pay for a used thermostat that I didnt ask to be replaced in the first place. Well Todd like a coward either sent one of his employees or came out himself at 8:30 in the morning while no one was at my office, climbed on my roof and took the part off of my machine. There is a complaint being filed with the state against his license at this time along with a report with the Sheriffs office for tampering with my unit and trespassing. This man speaks to women as though they are dirt under his feet and will overcharge you in a heart beat. We now have our unit fixed by a reputable company and will spread the word like wild fire what a low life this owner is and how they run their business. Here are the pics of the thermostat that was installed and they want $189 for, yeah not happening. You can see the dirt still on it from when it was installed. Dont trust this company, they will price gauge you and over charge where ever they can.

My technician Joe was dispatched promptly, which is SO important here in Florida. He diagnosed our air conditioning problem systematically and gave us a thorough explanation of what needed repaired. We were cool again the same day. We will use Airrific for all of our future cooling needs!

Complete waste of time trying to get these people to recommend a unit for dehumidification of a room, never mind trying to schedule an actual meeting, been back and forth over a handful of times, all the while, my telling them, Im available whenever you are. They seem to be a lot like police, saying one thing while doing another.

I lost my AC at 9 PM Friday night beginning the 3 day Memorial Weekend, I have a home warranty from Broward Factory on my AC and they came out at 10:30 AM Saturday morning, flipped the breaker and left. 20 minutes later I had no air again and no tripped breaker, after waiting 4 hours for Broward to call me or come back I searched online for an HVAC Co, Airrific said they would send Jose out within 60 minutes, everyone else said I was 5 to 8 in line and it may be tomorrow. Jose did arrive within 60 minutes and was very polite and explained everything well, he saw my breaker was shot and said if I could go without my stove a few days he could reroute to the breaker for the stove to give me air until I can contact the Community Manager on Tuesday to get the breaker panel replaced. I work with a lot of companies, and not everyone is smart enough to come up with such a great solution. I give big points for common sense, its hard to find these days. I highly recommend Airrific.
They did a fairly good job, but had to have 2 service calls in first year. First time for leaking freon, then they said power knocked out the computer. BOTH times I was charged when it should have been under warranty. Not happy
