I have been going to them for years. They do quality work every time . The team there there are highly knowledgeable, talented, friendly and efficient. This last time, we were even able to wait while they worked, the kids were entertained with movies and snacks . I Would highly recommend to anyone.

Customer service was excellent. They tinted the windows on our new Tesla, the job was done perfectly and they accommodated us by allowing the car to remain in the garage an extra night, and returning it fully charged. Would highly reccomend.

This is the place to go for window tint and ppf (clear bra). I had them tint my car windows, then came back for the ppf, and have an appointment to have my second car done. They do absolutely amazing work and are very competitively priced. They install XPEL which is an industry leader in tint and ppf. Additionally, everyone I have encountered is really friendly. I live over an hour away and will gladly make the drive to give them my business, they earned it.

They did an awesome job on my 2008 Mazda 3 iSport! Waited there they initially told me it would take 3 hours and they were done with it in under 1 hour! Car windows look spectacular! The %5 blackout on ALL windows (except front windshield) really changes the overall look of your car from nice to super cool. Hands down best window tinting service in Sonoma County and were surprisingly very affordable. 4 windows tinted for $300 out the door, and even hooked me up with a free bottle of window cleaner.

Needed tinting touch-up on my 2008 Volvo S60, and despite the long drive from San Francisco, I went back to A Shade Darker because it has been so good to me in the past. And Im happy to be able to report that its still outstanding! Excellent service, quality work, fair price, in and out quickly, plus went the extra mile to quickly get a needed tool. Highest recommendation! Theres no better tinting in Northern California.

I went there asking questions.. and the lady didnt seem very helpful.. I asked about the clear coat protection for the front of my car.. I have rally stripes.. so I was wondering would it damage my car.. she didnt know and wouldnt ask... I ended up going to sun tint.

Both my mother and I have taken all of our cars here for any tinting/protective cover needs. I even convinced my boyfriend to take his car here, because he liked the work so much. It is always very well done. If there are ever any issues, the staff is willing to work with you to figure out how to best fix it. No other tint place in Sonoma County could ever compare to them. Always looks very high quality.

THE go-to spot in the county for all things auto film related. The team here has always been on-time, professional and personable too. Ive been taking my cars here for 15 years at least. Never disappointed. I highly recommend. I even drive an hour from Sonoma because they are the best.

I had my 2017 kia optima tinted by them a while back and it turned out looking amazing since they had to re-do several windows from a previous place I went to. Going back to them this December to get all my windows done on my next car.

I had a great experience tinting my car here. Very professional. It is clear when you walk into the shop that these people care about the customer experience. Clean and comfortable waiting room with free snacks and drinks. Friendly and professional staff, and they finished my car on time and it looks great.I overheard the staff talking about the difficulty of customers that schedule on the weekends and then never show up. They have a team they need to pay.PSA: Be decent people! If you schedule an appointment anywhere, don’t bail without notifying 48hr in advance. We lose good service and amenities when people take advantage of businesses like these.

A Shade Darker did an excellent job on my 2019 wrx. I would definitely recommend it to others. It was a bit more expensive than other places that I had gone to, but it is definitely worth it. Their customer service was very friendly and they explained well what tint would be better for my car. I am very happy with how my car turned out and I will definitely return for future tints.

My father-in-law and I brought two different trucks in one morning the first one was done in 15 minutes the second one was done in 20 minutes couldn’t ask for a better customer service product quality and installation speed

They were able to fit me in the day I called because they were ahead of schedule which was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful with my selection of which tint I wanted. Tint came out perfect and it only took a few hours, they also give a lifetime warranty and a bottle of window cleaner which was great. Highly recommend for anyone who’s looking to get their windows tinted.

These peeps tinted my vehicle. I was very satisfied with the result.The front desk took care to explain my options so I could make an informed decision (I had no previous experience with auto tint).There was a small issue during my tint install, but they handled it professionally. How businesses deal with exceptions is important, and they get high marks from me.My tint install is a great job! Solid recommendation for them. I also like my lifetime warranty.

This company was recommended to me by a friend who had 2 vehicles tinted. I knew when I went in to get a quote that they were scheduled out at least a few weeks, but they had a cancellation and were able to get me in right then. I was willing to hang out in their clean and comfortable waiting area, but they called an Uber for me on their dime for a ride home. They did an awesome job and had it done in a few hours. I highly recommend A Shade Darker!!

Ive been here twice now - once 16 years ago for my very first car, and now again last week after moving back to the area. I see zero reason to go anywhere else. Competitive pricing, GREAT products (the BEST films), easy scheduling, helpful staff that took time with me to help me select the best tint level for my needs, and accurate timing. I had never had my windows tinted before and decided to go to A Shade Darker. They didn’t disappoint! It has been about two years and my tint is just the same as the day I got the windows tinted, no cracking, peeling or fading whatsoever ! They were very informative and patient with me. The installation was done in the time frame they told me and my car looks great! I’ll definitely be going back when I get a new car.

This is the place to go for any film application whether its on your car, truck, RV, boat, etc. Ive had issues with places in the past with bubbling tint or the colors being off. They use the highest quality film and always take care of any issues. Scheduling a time to get in can be a few weeks because they are the best in the area. Its well worth the wait. May not be the cheapest in town but by and large the best service and quality of work.

This place is awesome. I just got my 2017 Mustang GT tinted here and it looks amazing. Very competitive prices and the turnaround time was on point. Very happy with the service here and will be taking it back to get it vinyl wrapped sooner than later.

I would not go to any other shop to have my windows tinted or clear bra installed. They have tinted the windows on my two Shelby Mustangs and my Honda Accord.They installed clear bra on my 2015 GT350 Shelby Mustang and it has no flaws. I am going to have them install same on my 2014 GT500 Shelby Super Snake Mustang

Crooks. They did the logo for our cars and we had a contract for $5,000. Six months later they gave our company a bad review on yelp and when we spoke to them about the review they said its not for our services it is for $300 to wash 6 cars that we never paid. They are trying to steal $300 and on top of that the owner called me names. I would never do business with these thieves. I have copies of the contracts if anyone wants to see.

Shortly after having my 2015 VW Jetta tinted by these guys I was hit by 64 GMC pickup totaling it. I give A Shade Darker 5 stars because within a week of buying my Passat CC I scheduled my appointment to have it tinted because the quality and service left such a good first impression I knew I didn’t need to look anywhere else.

Only place in Sonoma County we take our vehicles for tint and now paint protection, and we have taken many starting back in 2004 with our Dodge Ram, when sold last year the tint still looked like it was just installed after 14 years.

We purchased our first Honda Accord at Manly and they recommended ASD since they were close by. We had a really good experience with their tinting. When that Honda was wrecked we brought our new Honda from Hansel, but still drove up to ASD to have that one tinted. That one was wrecked by my wife also. I now have a Mercedes and I just dropped it off today at ASD because I trust them and their workmanship

Never got a response from them. I got a confirmation that they got my email but nothing returned.
