Yay finally able to get hair and nails done!There is a large spacious outdoor space in the back 🤗 Christine has been super accommodating and careful with wiping everything down, sanitizing my hands and even checked my temperature when I arrived.

I never post reviews…but possibly the best manicure I’ve ever had. The team is also incredibly nice and accommodating.

Christine at Primp and Tonic was recommended to me by many people on a local facebook group and I’m so glad I decided to go to her! I have thick, wavy hair which is not the easiest to handle (especially after not getting my hair done for 8+ months due to Covid!) I felt super safe the whole time- only 3 customers are allowed inside at a time and everyone was wearing masks/6 ft apart. I also had the option of doing everything outside in the back in their carport. Christine sat me down upon arriving and spent a good amount of time going over exactly what I wanted and asking lots of follow-up questions to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted. She was open to my ideas but also provided me with her professional input of what would look best/be best for my type of hair. She is very attentive to detail and cut my hair before highlighting as well as after to make sure it was perfect. She did a great job thinning out my hair and putting in layers to complement the shape of my face. I was also able to get a pedicure during my highlights/cut with Linda who did an awesome job! I had forgotten what my hair had the potential to look like- Christine definitely brought it back to life! I would highly recommend Christine & Primp and Tonic for all of your hair care and mani/pedi needs! (below and after photos attached)

Nikki did a beautiful, detailed, thorough job on my pedicure and gel manicure. She expertly and carefully corrected my ingrowns and did a perfect job on the polish. I’m a new mom and busy doctor and ducked in last minute, they graciously let me come right in when I called to see if they had any last-minute openings. I trusted the great reviews before calling and you should too. Really appreciate the care. I will definitely be back.

Hair stylist is fanatics and the nails are amazing. Since I discover this place never went to a second person to get my hair done. Christine knows her thing and always give the best suggestions and the perfect hair style for me. She is So patient and so sweet. Love her so much.

I loved this place ! went to LA for the weekend and my nails broke so I went to redo them. The service was incredible. My nails specialist was so detailed and meticulous. She took her time, did every nail with a lot of precision. This is by far the best manicure and acrylic nails I have had ever. I wish we had that in Dallas !

Can you cut my hair short, but also keep it long?... And add crazy colors but in a natural way?.... oh, and make it light, but also I like it dark... and Im really picky, but surprise me!Yes, Im that client. And Christine always makes me happy. I never know what I want, I just know how I feel and want to feel when I leave, and she somehow translates all that to exactly what I needed (whether I knew it or not). Shes great, her staff is great, and her prices are very fair. AND theres free parking in the back.

Primp and Tonic is by far the best salon I’ve had the pleasure of frequenting the past 6 or more years.The super talented hairstylists and friendly vibe makes it hard to leave once your appointment is over. Really. I live in the valley... and there’s nothing that would deter me from continually coming here.

Primp and Tonic is the best! I am a long-time client of Christine, and only trust her and Michael with my hair. My hair always looks amazing and she always makes sure I have a pleasant experience. Primo and Tonic hair and nails is the only place I come for my hair and nails. They have the best service and will always make sure you are always in good hands. And for moms who just wanna take a break from your kids and spouse this is the place to come and feel relaxed with a glass of Champagne or some relaxing tea. I absolutely love the service, ambiance and thoughtfulness of everyone that works there! Michael and Christine (owners) are phenomenal on ensuring that I get the best hair color/process. My hair color is rich/vibrant red. Very difficult to get my hair color! But they got my color down!!!

Christine does an amazing job with extensions. (I get tape in) I have been getting all different kinds hair extensions for about 12 years now and she is top 3 of stylists I have ever experienced.Her technique is completely different than others, and she is very explanitory when she changes it up for any reason. She never does more than you need and is super fast!!Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for a few years whenever I’m in the area. Their color selection is incredible. I’m really particular when it comes to shaping and polish. My nails always look great and I love the aesthetics. Really good work.

Stopped into this salon today and absolutely loved it. Nice, elegant vibe with a calming feel... service was on point and reservation was kept perfectly. Got the works, hair color and highlighted, haircut and Brazilian blowout was amazing! Added mani and pedi to the pamper and this place did not disappoint! Will be back again for sure!!

I live this place. Christine and Michael who own it do a tremendous job of making this feel like a neighborhood community. I would never meet the folks at this salon anywhere else but Ive made friends and connections.Also they have wine and beer which is always enjoyable.

My most recent gel manicure is perfect and my nail stylist worked on perfecting several nails to make sure they were up to her exacting standards. The rest of the staff is super friendly. Scootered down here at 5pm on a saturday and they had sent the girls home. No pedi for me.

I ran into the salon because I workout at the gym down the street. To my surprise, when I come inside, it’s all renovated, and you can tell that all of the polishes are top-of-the-line! OPI, Essie, and even Zoya, which is a vegan favorite of mine . Diana helped me with my manicure and pedicure and she was extremely detail oriented... You could tell, she’s good at what she she does, and takes pride in her work. I love that I was served a glass of champagne too... I think I’ve found my go to nail salon, thanks Primp and Tonic!

Christine is the absolute best! I have been seeing her for over 5 years now and always walk out feeling confident. She is a pro with my blonde and know how to pamper her clients with beverages and mani/pedis!

Not happy with my hair cut. Described what I wanted and needed but did not get. Manicure and Pedicure a nice job done. Your feet soak in a bucket dont expect the massage chair type of a salon. Very expensive place.

Working for Primp and Tonic has been such a pleasure thus far. Owners Michael and Christine have Created a work environment where everyone can learn and flourish everyday . Coming to work Is something to look forward as our salon is busy with a posotive vibe and the best clients !

I’ve been getting my hair colored for 20 years. I’m naturally a light brown, strawberry blonde. I’ve always Iiked my hair on the blonder side, although I’ve done brunette and auburn back in my younger days! Finding a stylist that knows how to do blondes is a BIG DEAL! I’ve had 4 stylist in the past, all in which I stayed loyal to even though they never fully satisfied me. They were affordable since I have long and thick hair. I was referred to Christine at Primp and Tonic about 3 years ago and she is THE BEST one yet!! And also affordable!! I even had the option to get my hair done for free by a family member but refuse! Christine is my girl! I’m sure she is every blondes girl on the west side! That’s if they are lucky enough to find her! I am moving to Texas and I’m already saving for plane tickets back to visit her and get my hair colored with the most fabulous blonde hues. Not only does she color well, she cuts long hair perfectly. She takes my split ends off and keeps the length. Other stylist tend to chop, never owned their mistakes, and really just didn’t cut well. She does both amazingly! I also have seen Christine do extensions and holy cow, perfect! You can’t tell they are extensions.The salon is clean, cozy, has a full manicure and pedicure station, and dog friendly!! Everyone in the salon is nice and they all seem to do great work! I highly recommend this salon for your hair and nail needs!!

1 star for being unorganized and unprofessional. I made an appointment over the phone and when I showed up to my appointment I was asked to wait over an hour to be accommodated. Not sure why this salon has any positive reviews.

So expensive! For just a gel polish no manicure. $$$39
