This facility saw my husband for 3 appointments - THEN when I came in. (We live 45 minutes away) they tell me that their Dr is not credentialed to take our insurance. They didnt notice a problem when my husband was there 3 times!? Nor when I gave them my info and scheduled my own appointment!?! Total incompetence. Dont waste your time going.

I called a few weeks ago late morning because I had a question. I had to leave a message late. I left a message, and no one called me back. I even tried calling again. I know it was close to closing time but I think 10 minutes before they closed. I went to the website and typed up an email. When I sent it they had closed for the day. So thought Id get a response with in 24-48 hours. Again I was not contacted.

Everyone is so nice! Dental hygienist here are so sweet and patient especially Ariel and I think her name is Kim. Always tell me what they are going to do before doing it, which I love! In and out quickly and with a smile

8 am appointment for my senior citizen mother, we waited 20 plus minutes for nothing.. they said the denture did not arrive.. be professional.. don’t waste out time..

Great atmosphere and did everything possible to help me with the financial saide of things.

Brought my daughter in for her first visit! She’s 2.5 and did amazing! The hygienist Eriel and Dr. Peet were both very caring with her and made our visit super easy, plus who doesn’t love a hygienist with the same name as a princess!

Arrived on time and waited for a half hour. Got x-rays, no issue, without mask. Then told I HAD to wear these dark glasses to have my teeth cleaned! Never had a dentist require this. Additionally, last time I was there they told me I had major jaw bone loss and needed extensive work that was very expensive. My teeth were just being cleaned! I left before the cleaning.

I had back to back visits at this location and both times, under the care of hygienist, Jana, surpassed my expectations! I have super sensitive teeth and quite frankly dread dentist appointments, Jana was very empathetic to this and gave me my first totally pain-free cleaning (thank you Jana!) More importantly, my kids (3 and 5) had appointments as well and she was so patient and fun with them! The kids had their stuffed animals with and Jana took the time to oblige when monkey needed sunglasses or kitty needed her teeth counted. These are the little things that make a difference for kids experiences at places that can be scary for them. Thank you Jana for going the extra mile! Also, Mariah at the front desk is always friendly and super efficient. They make a great team.

The staff at Gentle Dentistry are kind, knowledgeable and very helpful. I was trying to establish a new dentist in the area and having a very difficult time getting in. With one phone call to Gentle Dentistry they were able to make me an appointment and get me in very quickly. During my first visit the staff was very thorough. They went over my oral health in detail and answered all of my questions. This was one of the most pleasant dental experiences I have had. It is safe to say I have found my new dentist! I would recommend Gentle Dentistry to anyone looking for a great experience with great staff!

Horrible experience. They lied to my fiancee and pulled out half of his teeth telling him everything would be covered by insurance. Then they said it would be thousands and thousands of dollars after we started the process. Once we asked for an actual dollar amount they told us to leave and would not continue services. We went to another dentist to finish the work and they wouldnt send the new dentist the dental records. To top it off, they sent a bill in MY name for services rendered to my fiancee, not me. And this bill came stating it was over 90 days old????? Beware!!

Made me wait an hour then Refused to do a cleaning do to pregnancy and told me I would have to wait till after birth to get any service from them even after contacting my doctor and her giving them consent they then said they no longer would have time as they closed at 5. First visit won’t be going back.

Excellent experience all around!!! Melissa, hygienist, was great, very personable & friendly so made it very comfortable like I’d been going there for years! Dr. Shveta was very thorough, detailed, honest, & took the time to answer all my questions. I also want to point out that they have a dental plan for 249$ a year that covers 2 cleanings 2 exams with X-rays & 20% off additional services if needed. That’s cheaper than one set of X-rays on there own! I’ll be signing up for that if I loose my dental coverage in the future. Thank you for a great experience, I’ll definitely be back:)

Very kind and professional staff. Made my daughter very comfortable. Definitely care about their patients and have incredible plans so anyone without insurance can afford to go to the dentist. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stress free dental experience.

I have been bringing my son here for about 5 years now. Up until just recently they have had a wonderful experience here. Today however, when we walked in the front desk lady was on the phone and did not even acknowledge our presents. She looked at us only when I had our insurance card out. She scanned the card, and handed back. We stood at the desk a minute and I finally said so, I guess we are checked in she then said they will call you back when they are ready. Not a hello, not a greeting, not a thank you for the updated information, nothing. I work front desk in a busy optical practice and this kind of stuff would not fly there. A simple smile to acknowledge our presents would have been nice. If our insurance was accepted elsewhere then we would go. This is pretty much the only place in Cottage Grove that it is accepted.

After researching which providers would take our insurance, Gentle Dentistry was one of them with the soonest availability. They were able to get my 7 year old in within the week. Scheduling was painless, Sadie (the Front Office Manager) is friendly, quick and attentive. Trayl was our Dental Hygienist. He was personable, great with my child, and made the experience fun for her. Every staff member that weve met has been great! I made an appointment for my son and myself soon after. After taking my 3 year old to Gentle Dentistry, and having another Hygienist work with him, I am convinced this is THE best place to come for dental work.

Very happy with this office. They were able to get me in when I had a toothache and then I went ahead and scheduled all my care with them. Front desk staff is fantastic and dental assistant Emily is amazing. I have nothing but good things to say and highly recommend.

My First Visit was AWESOME, everyone here the front desk lady, the Tech, and especially the Dentist herself were all very Professional, Kind, Friendly, they all answered all my questions, the atmosphere here was super amazing. They make your visit here a Super Great Experience. 5 stars from Id give 10 if I could.

My 5 year old was thrilled when she watched me get a filling and the Dentist was kind enough to explain things to her and show her as they went along. You never know, it could spark her little mind an interest in being a Dentist herself someday! A great clinic.

Went in for toothache. The dental hygienist I had was very unprofessional. They kept trying to sell me on scaling and root planing instead addressing my issue I was there for. They insisted that if they didn’t go forward with scaling and root planing before treating my toothache issue, as the receptionist/manager said “they don’t want to put fillings in dirty teeth”. Was given a $1,104 estimate to have the scaling and root planing done at a discount price because my insurance doesn’t cover the procedure. The hygienist used a lot of scare tactic because I had the first signs of gingivitis. I went to a different dentist 2 days later to get a 2nd opinion and to address my toothache. They were far more professional, thorough and concerned about the actual reason I was there. All this place is worried about is their bottom line. Also thought it was funny the dental hygienist gave me a flyer pushing me to leave a google review, here’s your review! 😂

UPDATE!I have decided to transfer my family to Gentle Dentistry in Cottage Grove for our dental needs. My son was happy with his visit there. Dr. Yu and the staff were great with him!I was referred to the Cottage Grove location by a friend. After a very expensive and stressful experience with Aspen Dental in Hastings.The front desk was friendly and welcoming.I was seen by Dr. Yu. Although nervous, he was very accommodating in continuing my treatment plan that I began with the other dentist. I received a crown and a referral the the Wayzata location for my dental needs. Dr. Yu was friendly and knowledgeable with my visits.During my visit to the Wayzata location for consultation. I was greeted by a very friendly front desk. I saw Dr. Alb for my consult. I must say that my visit left me feeling happy rather than anxious. This is a first for me.Overall, I would highly recommend Gentle Dentistry. Especially for those who have anxiety visiting the dentist.I finally found a dentist I can stick with!!!

This is a great clinic. They are all really helpful. The staff truly tries to help you out no matter what.

If I could put zero stars I would...I started going here in April and I absolutely loved the hygienist...then the dentist did some fillings and about 4 to 6 weeks later I started having excruciating pain in one of the teeth...I made an appt and got there only to find out that the dentist and the hygienist both left. So new guy younger comes at me saying I need a root canal then looks at my insurance and says you probably cant afford that so you just need to get it pulled first of all f u...you dont know what kind of money I have...I tried explaining that it felt like there was still a cavity in there but he didnt want to hear it and he started to drill my tooth with ZERO numbing...I threw his hand out of my mouth and never looked back...a few days later I got a second opinion and this dentist did decide to try to redo the filling. She found decay under the filling that was done 6 or 7 weeks prior and luckily was able to get the rest and fill it. She then decided to do xrays again and not charge me and the other 2 cavities that gental Dentistry dentist did both still had decay under them...save your time...save your teeth...save your money...FIND A NEW DENTIST!

Always excellent service- I am extremely sensitive to care and service- the mouth is a very delicate body part, you can trust the professionals here, the new female dentist here is an artist and humanitarian, refreshing constructs.

Loved it until my dentist retired. Has anyone seen the books in the waiting room :o??? Preview before you read them to your kids. Finding a new dentist office. Mostly because my dentist retired and his replacement is super judgy :(

I have had nothing but issues with this place. Especially after Dr. Klotbutcher retired. The receptionists have been rude. Their hours suck . And they have a major phone issue over there. I dont know how many times I have called and there is no answer, and they do not have a voicemail set up. Definitely finding a new dentist.

Went into the Cottage Grove office for my first visit, and loved how comfortable the staff made me feel! I usually dislike going to the dentist, but I cant wait to go back!

This place is a f ing joke. They wouldnt clean my teeth because I am a diabetic and now I go to pay my bill and they cant take payment because they cant find what I owe. What a place. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone

Think twice before you book an appointment at this Dentist office. They have owed my husband and I over $500.00 since beginning of October and wont refund our money. Ive called them several times and never return my calls when they say they will. #notahappycamper
