Elegant Nails did a fantastic job for some cool nail art and they were consultative to understand my needs. I would suggest maybe having a few examples of nail art so it will help inspire their creative juices.Overall they are thoughtful and ensure you are happy with your services and the prices are reasonable.

They were not able to take credit cards. Could only pay in cash but did have an ATM on the premises. Luckily I had some cash to avoid ATM charges. Had a basic manicure which stated it would be $17 on the website but after it was time to pay they said it was $18 ( not a huge deal) But thought that was unprofessional. It hasnt even been a week since my manicure and the polish is starting to chip a little on the ends.

Elegant Nails is the best place for manicure, pedicure and massage in LA. I’m from NYC and NO place in the city compares to Elegant Nails.The service, attention to detail, and care provided are bar none. Coming here is what I look forward to most each week. You can’t go wrong with gel or powder manicures.I can’t recommend Elegant Nails enough!!!!

Every employee at this salon is super nice, courteous and they take their time making sure they do a great job with both mani and pedi. Henry did a fantastic job on my full set of acrylics, they look very natural. They also provide a neck and shoulder massage while you are getting you mani/pedi which is wonderful!I highly recommend this nail salon. I’ve gone back a few times now and it’s consistently provided good quality and customer service! Enjoy!

Nice job on my nails but charged me more than price on website. A fill was listed at $23. I was charged $30. If its a mistake, fix it. If its to lure customers in, its dishonest.

Very pricey.. the lady cut my nails from hand. But they where nice. They didnt tell me I had to pay before 7pm. ATM charge me more.

Decent service but poor paint job. My acrylic nails look clumpy and not the shape I asked for. Even after the manager noticed, she didn’t even bother to redo the nail or lower the price for a poor job. I have spent less money on better quality nails so I would not recommend coming here.

The woman who did my pedicure spoke no English and did not even say “sorry” when I told her she was hurting me. She tore the cuticle and it bled. My gel fill on my finger nails was good as was the polish, however the woman spoke only to ask what color and to give me the price. The shop atmosphere was cold and unfriendly. I had to argue with the manager for the advertised “special “. Most unfriendly shop I have ever been in.

I hesitate to write this review since I dont necessarily want more competition for appointments at my favorite nail salon (they do take walk-ins), but I think this place deserves accolades. Elegant has a loyal customer base of women AND men. Ive been coming here for years and have always had a fantastic experience. Jackie gives me a great deal on my gel manicure (best in town) and stylist Annie Tang is here weekly for really beautiful fashion-forward nail art, which is not easy to find in Santa Monica. For pedicures, you can have a standard foot bath pedicure or sit in the massage throne for a spa pedicure. Metered parking is easy to find in the vicinity. Located right next door to Tinga (formerly Renees). Love!

The owner has very aggressive energy and treats people like items on a conveyor belt instead of valuable customers. It isnt as relaxing tranquil environment at all. There was a lot of chaos and drama between a bunch of the manicurists who cornered this unhappy customer. And I can see why the customer was unhappy. Their work is very sloppy and overpriced ($16 for a manicure which Im happy to pay if its quality like Tracy Nails on Montana). Also for same price ($16) you can get mani and pedi at BJ Nails on Santa Monica Blvd and better quality though its a no frills environment(sit on staple office chairs that dont recline for that price-massage chairs are $7 more I think). The best value I have found is Fashion Nails on Main ($20 for mani and pedi, friendly and more careful with polish). I have never taken the time to write a review before but took the time so someone will hopefully get better experience and value elsewhere.

GOT THE WORST INFECTION! had get minor surgery and be on antibiotics for a month after going here!!!!!! BEWARE
