This was literally the worst nail shaping ive ever had done, he worst customer service, and the dirtiest salon ive been to.I went because i recently moved to the area and looking for a new nail salon. Well this place had wonderful reviews so i decided to check it out. I had a wedding the next day ( as a guest and as the makeup artist of the bride. Im a professional makeup artist in entertainment and events... so i am hyper aware of making sure your hands are clean, even if it is just with hand sanitizer between clients, also my hands are in my clients faces so, my hands and nails must always look pristine)I booked my appt for 4pm. arrived at 3:45. there was only one other client there and about 5 techs. one was laying shoeless on the pedicure chairs on her phone. One woman sits down to start. i show her a photo of what i wanted. acrylics, slightly oval and point shape. nude gel polish.first woman starts on my nails. no soak, no trim, no manicure before ok assuming it will be after the nails but never had that happen before ( it didint happen at all, no lotion or cuticle oil) she uses a used emery board on me. i know one, because there is still other nail polish on it and two, she asked a woman to grab it off another table where they just finished on the woman at the other table.Then another customer comes in and my nail tech goes to work on her, sending someone else over. Second girl works on my for a while, then a third comes to pain my nails.Well now its done two on my nails are crocked and i point that out. They tell me theyll fix it, i just have to wait 30 mins. Well i cant wait another 30 and now its 5pm. The manager comes over to look at my nails, there is clear polish all over and they are uneven in point and thickness. Shes going a pedicure and comes over and starts pushing my cuticles with her nails... with out washing her hand after working on a clients feet. i point this out, she seems offended.They offer nothing to remedy it, not even an apology. I refuse to pay full price and they take 10 off. But now im out of time, working a huge important wedding, and my nails look awful. But the worst is jsut the lack of customer retention and service.

Cant wait for them to reopen!!! Everyone is always friendly and professional. Love the fact that they are always cleaning. The nail designs are unique and fantastic.

I really like this salon. The staff are very friendly and try very hard to be sure that you are happy too. My hair stylist is there now so I thought I’d give them a try. I’m not disappointed at all. Love 💕 my blue nails and I will tell others to go there as well.

I hate this place. They served me so good that I can not find a better nail salon. The staffs seems take good care of this salon in every small corner. They also clean up everything after every customer. Last time They did a great job on my full set pink and white, so love it. I do recommend for this salon.

I am so happy that the staff is so helpful and kind. The tech who did my nails so gentile. She did not soak my nails because it started to lift from my nail. She did a really good job and I did not get any more damage. Doing such an amazing job and such skill to perfectly shape my nails. I am so happy that I came here. They did an amazing job for such a decent pricing. I can not wait to get another set!!

My best friend, Alexis, and I came in for a manicure, a hour deep tissue massage and a hour foot massage. I cant even describe how wonderful this experience was! Our nails came out like the way we wanted and oh my god.. The massages was like having a god touch every part of my body. The staff is so friendly throughout the whole thing. Alexis and I will be coming back here in the future! I highly recommend this to anyone!

This is the best salon i have ever been to. I got Spa Pedicure and Manicure for only $28 which was surprisingly reasonable. The technician did her job very well and the results turned out extremely amazing. Great service and very pleased with what i paid for. Highly recommended!!

I dont recommend you to go for your full set in this place. Ive been there to do the full set and it was my worst experience ever! One lady first started to do my nails and she didnt even know how much she needs to put materials on each nail, the liquid was going all the way down from my fingers and then she was sneaking tooooo much! and guess what? she ended up with ugly fake nails, up and down on my nails! and I was about to cry!!So the other nail expert saw this situation and came to me and said let me fix that for you! after 2 hours (JUST for simple square short simple nails ) they could fix it.ANDthey charged me MORE than other local places as well!At the end, instead of saying apologize to me, they did the behaviour like that Im the one who should be embarrassed to waste their time, not them!! They said we spent too much time for you which is equal to two people. (Am I responsible for their unprofessional staff and the long time they NEED to spend to make something reasonable for people?)

I came here to get my feet taken care of. I had really dry skin. There was a crack in my skin. It was time to get my feet scrubbed. They did a great job. They did were gentle now the bottom of my feet are softer. I didnt have to wait at all. They took me right away. Not expensive. Good place.

Went in for gel nails after reading great reviews, but the experience ended with me looking at a result I wouldnt have ended up with it if Id done it myself. More than one of my cuticles was over-snipped to bleeding, and the place had its doors wide open, making the place muggy and humid to boot.I didnt want to distract since the lady had already mauled a few of my fingers, so I just sat like a statue long enough for her to finish and got the heck out. I will never go back to this place-- I have gotten my nails done regularly at salons before I relocated to Santa Monica, but now Im thinking I might have to make the drive all the way back to those-- Ill keep looking for a location near to me, but I definitely wont go here again.

These ladies are artists. Seriously, they take their time and do excellent work. I am always extremely pleased with the way my nails turn out and their shellac manicures last longer than any Ive gotten at other salons (and Ive tried many salons).The atmosphere is quiet and calming and the staff is very friendly. Theyre efficient, but they do take their time, so dont be in a huge rush. This is a chance for you to relax and enjoy the process. There isnt any terrible fake-nails smell when you walk in the salon and the prices are very reasonable.I was almost afraid to write a review for 922 Nail Spot because Id like it to feel like my little secret, but I do want them to stay in business and I feel its only right of me to share the wealth of such a fabulous little nail salon.

The gel nails look great and do last the full two weeks. They also do a great face massage

Genial staff but will not be returning. They have a nice choice of colours but when I was finished, the acrylic was not done all the way over my nail. There was a space left (looking like it had grown out). She also drilled right down into my nail, and into my cuticles, making me bleed a bit and then trying to persuade me into purchasing a regular manicure so she could fix it. She did the stiletto shape pretty well, but there were/are several lumps in the finished product, too, which she made up excuses to not fix. My sisters dip powder popped right off after a few days, as well as my thumb acrylic, and our top coats peeled off immediately, which has never happened to us before. Finally, the fan they gave me to dry blew dust into my polish which after 2 weeks I havent been able to get out. We paod $90 total for all this.

Reasonable pricing, annoyed that they kept trying to up sell the experience. We asked for the mani pedi for $28 and on their site it said massage included but then they asked if we wanted one for just 10 more dollars or 6 dollars for callous scrub when that was also in the description. Made me feel like I was asking them mad for saying no

How I went in for a $28 Mani/Spa Pedi and walked out paying $63 is beyond me. Visiting the area and decided to give this salon a try. They upsell you from the minute you walk in the door. This nail polish comes with the manicure but if you want this one, its $1 more. This should have been my first clue. Manicurist talked me into getting a buff for my clear manicure rather than clear nail polish, then parafin wax. Pedicurist then assumed Id be wanting parafin on my feet as well. Then the callous remover. The extras never stopped. Was shocked at the final price of the services. I was there for about an hour and a half. Mind you, the pedicure was great. Because of the pressure of adding all of the extras and the sticker shock of them, I would not return to this salon if I was in the area again.

If youre looking for an upscale nail salon experience that offers tea, coffee or water...this is not it. I should have known better than to spontaneously get my nails done outside of my usual Cha Spa on Wilshire.For starters, the music selection here is beyond horrible and I couldnt wait to get my ears out of earshot of the Sirius XM Serious Love station featuring Barry Manilow, Rod Stewart and The Carpenters. Youll be surrounded by the most hideous art. The OPI Mod About You gel polish was very watered down and she didnt use very much. Expect an average job with imperfections.From a timing perspective, I asked if I would be finished by 1:30 and they promised me yes, but I didnt leave until 1:50.Spend an extra $5 and go to Cha Spa on Wilshire!

Cant believe this is the first time weve been to this nail salon after all the times Ive been to Santa Monica, my friends and I had such a good time here, especially since our mani/pedis were absolutely amazing, we couldnt believe how cheap it was for that high quality of a mani/pedi. Highly recommend this nail salon!
