Cant say enough good things about Sonki and his fitness trainers. Always concerned with safety and maximizing their clients health and wellness, while pushing to achieve fitness goals. Lovely to exercise outdoors in the early morning or early evening. A wonderful experience all round. (Will also note that the people who wrote 1-star reviews have mysteriously never taken this class, which has been going successfully for many years.)
Sonki Fitness is a terrific program and involves directed interval training with a lot of camaraderie. Ive done several 5-week sessions over many years and to this day, I would never do such training on my own. I highly recommend this program to anyone who simply wants to get started exercising in a structured and fun environment, to those who wish to improve and maintain.
The Sonki Fitness 5-week bootcamp helped me jumpstart my fitness and weight loss journey after having a mostly sedentary lifestyle for almost two years. Sonkis workouts were doable and even fun despite the difficulty level. The gorgeous beach views made the pain so much more bearable! Sonki and the other trainers were extremely encouraging and kind. I generally feel that my energy levels have increased, and I have lost 9 pounds! Im so grateful for this experience.
Sonki creates a motivating and safe working environment! His work out pushes you no matter where you are in your fitness journey. He and the Sonki Fitness trainers challenge and support all of his clients and offer alternatives to workouts to best fit where you are physically. It is a great work out class and is 100% outdoors!

I have been taking the 6:30PM class three times a week for over two years and it has been life changing. Sonkis class and the way he teaches is inspiring. I highly recommend it.
Ive been working out with Sonki for the past 4 years. Sonki provides a welcoming environment to get fit and have a good time while doing it. Santa Monica classes are held on Palisades Park overlooking the ocean - cant ask for more.

I have been a SONKI warrior since COVID. I have spent the better part of a year working out in a safe, socially distant, encouraging environment. Sonki and BOOT CAMP has made me stronger...not just physically. SONKI listens and can read every emotion. He pushes his students to do better and work harder. He never screams. He is the best and I am so glad that I saw him training in Palisades Park. Sonki ROCKS!

Im about to complete my second session of Sonki Fitness bootcamp. I attend both the 630 AM with Gabe and the 630 PM with Brianna, in Playa Vista. I use the unlimited training option which helps provide ultimate flexibility. I highly recommend this bootcamp program over the others Ive tried in LA. The classes are small enough so that the trainers can provide personalized attention by offering modifications depending on your level and accounting for injuries.The classes are only an hour but every single minute is used. I love how we dont take breaks to ensure that intensity is maintained and that max benefit can be derived from each session. The trainers are consistently positive and encouraging while also challenging each of us to reach our fitness potential. There is a great amount of variety in the workouts so that it never feels redundant and I appreciate the total body workout nature where we rotate between cardio upper body, lower body and core.I have already seen results in the past couple of months. Ive been a lifelong tennis player, runner and started playing beach volleyball this summer. My fitness has improved dramatically. My endurance is now no longer an issue in the sports I play and my friends have commented on my increased quickness, faster reaction times, and overall strength.Ive never been a morning person but I find myself looking forward to that 530 AM wakeup so that I can hustle over, in the dark and cold, to the 630 AM class three days a week and then after a long workday, hustling over, again in the dark and cold, to the 630 PM class with Brianna to finish off the day with another great workout.
