From the moment I walked in I received excellent customer service. Kevin the owner went above and beyond and trying to help me and was able to diagnose some thing that I’ve taken to three different car dealers. He’s very knowledgeable and very helpfulness. They also have a wonderful agreement with a car rental that’s a fraction of the price that you would pay walking in off the street. I can’t recommend this place more!

Had a transmission issue with my car due to a tuned part. These guys identified that and then test drove it to make sure there weren’t other issues. Nothing else came up.I know that doesn’t sound that amazing but most shops would come up with an issue that they “found” or recommend service the car doesn’t need. Not these guys. They were honest and professional. I’ll definitely keep taking my car here.

I believe it was Kevin that helped me when I brought my car in. He gave me an in-depth view of what to expect with the maintenance of a high performance vehicle of a brand that is new to me. He introduced me to his lead mechanic, Ben, and I left knowing more than the dealership had shared with me when I initially bought the car. The HAUS kept me informed of the progress throughout the maintenance and scheduled future appts at my convenience. I will be bringing all of my cars to these guys from now on.

Can’t say enough about the professionalisms and great customer service received from The Haus of Santa Monica. As previously stated in another comment, all the 5 stars received speak for themselves. I’ve taken my Mini Cooper S Clubman to 2 other “Mini Mechanic shops” and The Haus is by far more reasonable with cost. Their honesty and service is just an extra bonus.I see a lot of Kudos to Kevin but how about David! David was awesome from my first call to service being done.

As an owner of a Mini riddled with a litany of issues, the Mini dealerships (and I went to 3 different dealerships) were constantly trying to get me to spend more money on repairs/replacements that werent relevant. From the get go, there were no such vibes at The Haus. Kevin at the Santa Monica location was extremely helpful and informative. Upon completing inspection, Kevin explained exactly what the issue was and what needed to be done. My case, in particular, involved a water pump leak which Mini had recalled in the past.Kevin informed me of the warranty policy and allowed me to check with the Mini dealership if I still qualified for the warranty and a free replacement instead of just shelling out for the repair, giving me a chance to save on an expensive repair. While I did end up not qualifying for the warranty, the repair/replacement costs were more than fair relative to the exorbitant prices at the Mini dealership.Customer service was, hands down, the best Ive experienced when it came to servicing cars. Kevin offered an early drop off option in case I had to be out of the house early. When the car was done, I was unable to go to the shop to pick up, to which Kevin offered a free car drop off at my apartment and took payment over the phone. Circumstances on both ends did lead to this but it goes to show how much care is put into providing top notch service to their clients. With my car running as it should and a wonderful experience, this will certainly be my go to shop.

Very impressed with the service & knowledge of The Haus. My BMW X5 had some major issues that I had no idea about & Kevin talked through every thing with me, explained what I did and didnt really need, made sure to help with my insurance and even helped me get a rental car for the week. He made me feel heard & made sure I knew everything that was going on. As a young female getting work done on your car can be dawnting, but with The Haus it was at breeze, even though it was a less than ideal situation. They did mechanical, electrical, made a new key & even did some body work. And went above & beyond on all fronts. I will definitely be coming back again & highly recommend them.

Honest, efficient, and excellent customer service. I will definitely return my Mini to The Haus and avoid the high prices of the dealership. As a nurse who has been working crazy and unpredictable hours this past year, I appreciated that they allowed me pick up my car when it was convenient for me, which was outside of their posted business hours. All of the people I spoke to were very nice and professional, explained everything to me in terms I could understand and did not try to upsell me. I appreciate the gratitude that was extended to myself as a healthcare professional and am so grateful that the guys at The Haus are working through this pandemic.

Short and productive. If you need it done Right Go to the HAUS!! UPDATE: June 2. My R60 has close to 460 miles since repair. It is like a new car all broke in, properly. The mileage is between 19 and 25mpg in city and 30+ on the autobahn(the highway). Take off is great then the turbo kicks in around 1800 to 2000 rpm, then Im gone. The LAG A TRON before was dangerous. Now no problem. Cant say enough about these folk, except BRAVO ZULU to the HAUS!

Kevin and the folks at The Haus are terrific. They were able to diagnose a problem with my 2011 Minis air conditioning that the service department at Santa Monica Mini completely missed. The Hauss work and pricing are great. They went above and beyond to fix my car and deliver it in perfect working order.

We bought a used Mini for our daughter when she graduated from USC. We had The Haus inspect the car before we bought it. They gave us a very detailed list of things that needed to be done. Once we purchased the car we took it back to them for the needed repairs. They were on time and within the cost estimate. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly AND their work is guaranteed for 2 years. GREAT PLACE.

I went to this shop twice in the last few months ago and it was a terrible decision. Do yourself the favor, dont go here - just go find another shop. Here are the list of issues I dealt with:- Late: The shop is always late, always. When I first went they took one week longer than they expected and even then they didnt do everything they promised.- Poor installation: the guys put my camera upside down when removing and reinstalling my bumper- Poor quality: after charging me $800 to fix my paint, they did a really bad job. when I came and simply glanced at my car, it was clear that there was a huge unpainted part. When I told the owner he said bring it back Ill fix it free of charge - I brought it back and yes at the surface the bumper looked painted but after taking a closer look with some professional shops, they did a very very minimal paint job - as if they barely touched the bumper with paint.

I drive a hardtop Mini Cooper and I am definitely not a car person. I like my car because I can park in small, tight spaces, because it’s cute… and those are pretty much the reasons why I bought it. I’m definitely someone that can be taken advantage of by mechanics (I know have been in the past). That’s why it was so important for me to find an honest mechanic, and I finally have! Kevin and his team have always given me fair quotes and go above and beyond to explain why I need something, when I don’t need something, and let me know their honest opinion. For example, when I needed a Vanos Solenoid. First of all that sounds like a fake, made up part. It’s not! I shopped around and ultimately, came to The Haus. So glad I did! I’ve been a loyal customer since. Thanks for taking care of me guys. Me and my Mini, and my wallet are grateful!

I’m impressed the owner of the shop stayed on top of things when I had to drop a car off in the later evening. Kevin made sure to call to see if the car was on its way and even followed up after the car was dropped off. Work was assessed right in the morning and done by that evening. Impressive! Excellent customer service. 5 star treatment, for sure!

The Haus performs nothing but the best service on my MINI. My car is almost 10 years old and I always feel confident it will continue running like new after routine check-ups at The Haus. The owners and mechanics provide complete transparency and always offer honest feedback on needed services and parts. Kevin, the owner was a pleasure to work with. Brought in my vehicle to get a second estimate for a repair that the local bmw dealership quoted me $3k for and was pleasantly surprised to receive a quote for $1200. Not only did I receive a great price but Kevin went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of, even offering a loaner car while my vehicle was repaired.

From my first phone call with Kevin, I could tell hes serious about solving problems. He learned as much as he could about my issues with my BMW 335is over the phone, and did everything he could to make room in The Haüs schedule.My actual appointment couldnt have gone smoother. The issue (i.e., warped rear tires) was diagnosed quickly and accurately, and I was impressed by Kevins awareness and consideration of costs at all times.This truly rare gem of a mechanic shop has made one more lifetime customer.

Been having nothing but problems with my bmw and some of the parts they replace end up being bad so i have to go back to have them replace the bad parts again. I keep sending my car back to this place right when it gets home something else happens.... BMW dealership worked on recalls and this place worked on my car a lot and its just a problem machine!
