Ive used the website a few times and I find a place faster than using other apps. I dont know why all these people are driving to WR office. The same listings ARE online. Literally no need to go or call the physical office EVER. Sign up online, pay, look, call the landlord directly. Amazing how many people think someone is going to hold their hand or give them an apartment. Welcome to LA.

Westside Rentals should be investigated by the Los Angeles City Housing Department, in my opinion. My specific experience was that this company had a long line of apartment seekers at its office who were told to have your money ready for the credit check. My co-signer and I submitted our money and credit information, and then were ignored as we sat waiting in the Westside Rentals office for several hours. We were given no answer on our apartment rental application. Nor were we given a refund. Later, we checked our credit reports and found that no credit check was made. When we spoke to the building superintendent, he told us that no apartments were available.

I rented a duplex in West Hollywood for 16 years and my management company was west side rentals. Granted, I saw the number outside the house and was lucky enough to get the landlady On the line. She said if my credit was good I got the place. I dealt with Jeff and he could not have been nicer. My experience with west side rentals were positive and they were always there to fix the problems.

I used the online service when I first moved to LA. It did help me find my apartment, but the staff is super unhelpful (Im not even sure why there is a physical location - they just tell you to look online) and the service is EXTREMELY overpriced. Just taking advantage of how many people are desperate to find a place in LA!

Called them up after I signed up to ask if someone could help to find a place, after driving an hour to get there, as they told me to go to a location to get better help, a young girl who really showed not to care at all, told me to look online!!! No wonder she didnt care I already paid the fee... Ill give two stars instead of one because there are some good listing on the website but dont expect to get costumer service

I emailed to describe my rental needs and 12 hrs later no response. Not typical of a ‘real’ realtor nor professional. Looking elsewhere..

Two time subscriber. Their site is nice, but you can do just as well on other sites. One star because I needed to talk with customer support, was directed to the current members department of their phone system and have been on hold for 40 minutes listening to the same recording. No urgency to answer. UPDATE: I stayed on hold until they closed. A total of 1 hour and 25 minutes of pure hold time. No answer. Same recording talking about how theyre available by phone 7 days a week from 8-5 pm and have been featured in Wall Street Journal, L.A. Times and Accredited with BBB - I guess when theyre that awesome, they dont need to answer your calls. Hope they reach out to me and make this right.

This company fraudulently takes data from the MLS of homes for sale and posts it on their website as a rental at a drastically low price. Do not be fooled by their data.

Ive never seen a more atrocious scam. Dont waste your money. Few of the apartment managers will answer or call. Some are out of date and already rented out. $60 to look??? Really?

I called a phone i saw while driving to look for a 1 bedrooms apartment. I was forwarded to a lady then to a guy. I felt that this company is just out for your money. That guys was rude and didnt want to provide his name nor was he helpful. I will let all know to stay away from this online company and advise apartment owners to not do business with them. THEY ARE UNBELIEVABLY RUDE.

Saw quite a few ads on Craigslist, but when you call the office to ask for prices on specific rental numbers, they let you know that you need to pay $60 in order to VIEW their listings.Ridiculous!

GR8 service! We have used their service for the past 10 years. Our last vacancy was filled by first person that looked at our apartment.

There are hundreds of places in Los Angeles where you can get free lists of apartments and houses for rent but this place put its rental signs everywhere, even in buildings that have no vacancies and then charges for its stupid list. This is RIPOFF RENTALSJim

Should have followed the reviews here. I signed up for their 2 months and saw limited listings on their website. Wanted to get a refund immediately( after 10mins of usage) but there was no reply from their email or customer service. Was ONHOLD for ONE HOUR on the phone . Also the password reset does not work, once you have forgotten your password, be prepared to say bye to that account.

Paying $60 so you can look at their terrible and expensive apartments? Youd be better off setting your money on fire, as at least that would waste less of your time. F**k these scam artists.

Extremely rude customer service. Dude had contempt for me as soon as started talking on the phone to him. App is riddled with issues and they have tons of fake or otherwise unauthorized listings. Do not waste your money!

So they charge you $60 for two months. The search is useful. Arguably, they got the most listings. They can auto-email you new listings based on your criteria. Possibly, this free-for-landlords, charge-the-tenants business model is the way to go.Now explain to me please WHY on earth the photos of their listings are post stamp size where you can barely see anything, while free-for-all craigslist listings often have full-size photos? Anyone?Westside, youve been around for many years. What is up with those next-to-useless photos?Oh, and have you checked if the flashing ads on your pages might really annoy your PAYING customers?

I joined in August and received one phone call and was promised listing and appointments. no return call. I then called the following week and left a message and no return call. I then had my assistant call and the rude customer service person said that they could not take specialty appointments till November even though I had paid my $350.00. on August 1. they claim to have that amazing service and help you find a place and set up days to look at things and send you listings. I have gotten no listings in one month and honestly feel that this service is best suited to the do it yourself.Never the lest, we got a refund.

Dons waste your money. I bought a 60 day trial and all the properties that were on it where on FREE internet sites and a realtor would take the ad and repost it on Westside rentals and then would not even bother to return your calls for a week and then would call you looking to sell you loans.

Dont even look at their rentals, their fake and they talk to you until you pay them a fee and then leave you hanging... Download the app radpad or hotpad, those are legit and you will for sure find something

This was A WASTE OF MONEY. .out of the list I got only two apartments were available the rest were already rented. I REGRET WASTING MY MONEY HERE. DONT DO IT.,and the people there look at you like what do you want.

ITS A SCAM that should be reported to the FTC. These landlords dont return phone calls or e-mails. Meanwhile, the company is still making money off of you.
