Today was my first time visiting lux nails, it was a wonderful experience! Everyone was really nice and the person who did my pedicure did a wonderful job! They shaped and painted my toe nails perfectly. The environment is peaceful and clean. I will definitely be returning! I highly recommend you to visit.

The workers/owner bring their kids to work every day and do not control them what so ever. I’ve gone twice and the kids are always running around screaming and all up in my face. This is a business and a place where people want to goto relax and it is absolutely impossible to do so at this salon. I made an appointment two weeks prior which was cancelled upon arrival because he decided to do someone else (& yes I’mALWAYS on time or early). Next appointment I waited 25 min to be started. This place is just a mess and looks like they haven’t swept or wiped anything down in a very long time. Served us water that looked like was stored in the dirtiest refrigerator on earth. Sucks because it’s the closest nail salon to my new home but I’ll definitely travel to be anywhere but here. They need some SERIOUS changes !

Lux Nail Bar is my go to spot!! My mom and I love love love Kim, Rose, Kevin, and all of their other staff! They are extremely friendly and not pushy at all. Bad experience. Not enough staff to take care of their customers. Employees were running from manicures to pedicures. Ghetto customers with their phones loud playing tik tok and candy crush. The playing videos and face time. Will jot go back.

Today was my first time here, but they did soooo good! I think I gave my nail tech anxiety because the dip powder color I picked was running super low. I thought he was going to ask me to pick a different color because there wasnt much left, but he definitely made it work.All the employees were courteous, helpful and funny. Great atmosphere.

I’ve been going to them for about a year now but lately their work has been sloppy and rushed I just went about a week ago to get a full set and a pedicure and my nails are already lifting and on top of everything I paid 121 for it, I’ve been trying to give them chances for after this I’m never going again their prices are inconsistent. All around just disappointed.

I made an appointment with Kim. Instead of her doing my nails, they sat me with a man that sits all the way at the end. He has no idea how to do an ombré correctly what so ever. My nails look nothing like the picture that I asked for which should have come out correctly considering they have every color. Paid $67 dollars for an ombré with a flower on two fingers and a few rhinestones. No thanks, so not recommend. I went up the road to another salon who said they have had many clients come in to fix their nails after leaving this place. Never going back

This was my first time at Lux, and I am IMPRESSED!! After a less than ideal experience at a different salon, I scoured the internet and reviews to find a good nail salon and boy did I find one! John did a perfect job (and I mean a phenomenal job) with my acrylic fill and matte gel polish, he even painted my toes to match. Pricing was fair and service was on point. I will definitely be back, thanks guys! ❤️

Lux Nail Bar was amazing. We were seated right away. They brought the nail colors to us, turned our massage chairs on, and even offered us a drink for free! They spoke fluent English and could be understood easily! Our nail technicians, Kevin and Giang remained in great conversation with my husband and I the entire time! If you are looking for a new nail spot, Lux is the way to go. We will definitely be back!

I went to Lux today to get a full set and I just had a bad experience. They got me in quickly, but then they sat be down with a guy who clearly didn’t know how to do ombré nails. He put my nail on so crooked that it looked like the tower of Pisa on my finger. If I wouldn’t have said anything he would’ve just left it. And when I mentioned it he examined my finger for like 20 mins.. making it seem like he couldn’t tell it was crooked! Whatever.... then I showed I’m a picture of the exact size and style I was looking for... he barley looked at it.. which is why he has my nail looking crazy when he started. I kept trying to explain what I wanted and he wasn’t getting it... and you know that one lady everyone goes to at the salon.... she was just mad chillin didn’t even try to help to make it a pleasurable experience. So I just told him to take it all off and I left. I will not be going back there.

I love this spot !!! Excellent customer service, nails last a while, they use good material and treat as family. Love love the vibe and atmosphere. Very reasonable with the prices.

I just called today and asked if I could come in. They said it was no problem and the moment I arrived there was a chair available for a manicure.The guy who performed my manicure was actually really fun to chat with and for once I didnt feel so shy and reserved in one of these salons. The polish came out very beautifully with my hands wonderfully soft too. Its so close to home, so I cant wait to go back!

I love them. Best place that ever did my nails here in Florida. I get mine done by Kim. She amazing! Gave me exactly what i wanted. Slayed my nails! Love my glowing nails! Employees always have Great conversation, funny and is always in a great mood. The salon itself and employees are very welcoming. Its in the cut but can be seen from the stop light. I recommend them. Walk ins welcome. Oh....and theres wine...who doesnt want that!!?

Visiting from Jacksonville I got my nails done here by Kim. Wanted a change from the regular square shaped nails so she recommended the coffin shape... freaking amazing! I dont trust everyone with my eyebrows but again she did not disappoint. The atmosphere was so relaxing and inviting. The entire team was friendly and helpful! I will definitely make my way back to this nail salon.

Horrible Service!! I came into the salon with my cousin on a saturday and my nails popped off on that tuesday. We wanted dip powder with tips and kept telling them to stay on the thin side and not too bubbly. They kept rolling thier eyes and saying okay. Our nails had indents and the tip looked like it was curved up. Come time to pay, she charged me extra. When I asked what the charge was for she said becuase I wanted my nails filed round and not square. She said you should have known everyone in the area does that. I told her Im new to the area and she just stared at me until I signed the recipt. On tuesday I was taking a shower when my nails bent and popped off ruining my natural nails. Ive had quality dip powder that lasted 4 weeks and I am a girl thats alwyas active so those nails went through alot. Its rediculios that I paid more for a quarter of the quality.

This place is absolutely amazing! The inside is so elegantly decorated and the manager is so sweet as well as all the nail techs! This is my new go-to nail salon! You can literally just show the nail tech an example photo of what you would like your nails to look like, and they will come out perfectly! I’m so happy with my nails.

I went there for a whole year when I lived in Florida. Made an appointment with Tu every time for gel polish and a sort of “cat claw” shape. I was always in and out within 30 minutes with Tu, with the prettiest polishes and shapes I’ve ever had. Everyone there is so kind. I live in Texas now and really miss this place. I recommend them very much!

I have been coming here since January when I moved to Sanford and I absolutely love it. The staff engages you in conversation and they keep the environment fun and young feeling, which I love! They offer complimentary drinks and wine 🤗🤗 They also take their time on Pedicures which is something major for me. Prices here are VERY reasonable!

I had my eyebrows/back waxed and a hot stone pedi. Pleasant atmosphere and Rose was attentive and friendly making sure she asked if the water/stones werent too hot and that I was always comfortable. Ill be back again soon!

My experience here was pretty good overall. I asked for coffin shaped acrylic nails with regular polish in the color 614 and paid a total of $24 (excluding the tip). The atmosphere was nice and the people were kind. I just wish that my nail tech listened to me when I asked him to fix the nail on my right thumb because he just told me he knew what he was doing. Even after he was done it looked wonky and I should have said something right then. I also wish he had pushed my cuticles back but he didn’t really even go near them. Regardless, he did a pretty good job and I would go again.

Normally come here & love the results & service but recently got my nails done before vacation & FOUR started lifting just a week after. When I got back into town (about 9 days from when they were done) I called for a fix & was told I’d be charged & that there’s only a 5 day window to come in for fixes. The lady I spoke with told me it’s time for a new fill anyway. After less than two weeks?? Maybe I’m missing something bc they normally last almost a month. Anyway, disappointed & refuse to pay for a fill. Nails were beautiful but my $40 full set shouldn’t have lasted such little time.

Extremely disappointed. Went the first time and the service was great, my nails were great even did my lashes. Went in again but my nails came out really bad, got hombre and you could literally still see the lines from the nail grinder over the top coat. I also asked for a design on my nail with badazzle and got a bunch of with lines that made it look like a cotton ball got stuck on the nail. When my friend mentioned it they got mad, and defensive and started talking about her in a different language. It was just a terrible experience, and even worst customer service.

Omg this is the most nicest nail salon I been to. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and seemed very very happy. It’s very clean and upscale. I live in Deltona but will be driving to Sanford for this place from now on, and I don’t care how much it is as long as people make me feel welcomed and comfortable. Absolutely fabulous. I was in town for a baseball tournament and messed up my pedicure packing up the car. (Big toe of course!). I found Lux Nails and popped in to get my toe repolished. Served right away. They fixed my toe at no charge. I’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town for a full pedicure!

My gel polish is chipping off in 4 nails and and the other one the dip powder started falling off. They use very cheap products I only went because it was the only one Opened on A Saturday. At first I was pleased until my stones fell off not even two hours later. Then I went in the next day and Kevin did not wanna do those two nails over, he just put stones on top of where they were in the beginning. It looks bulky and he used bigger stones. When I told him I didnt like it he didnt care. I told him the stones he had just put were bigger he said they were the same size. The owner Kim was right next to us and she didnt care either. And this is for my first baby shower so its very important for me to look my best. They really disappointed me by how they treated me today.

I visited this nail salon over the weekend & I greatly regret it. I went with a friend and we were having a conversation about how they were overpriced and the owner Kim stated that she was cheap. You should never come out of your mouth and call someone cheap because you never know their situation. When I was my turn to get my nails done, I had this guy and he continued to cut my skin with the nail filer. I told him repeatedly and he ignored me. I also told the owner and she didn’t do anything. I would not recommend this place for anyone. Steer in the opposite direction if you are looking for a place of professionalism!

Always taken such great care of here. It sounds like a silly thing, but I have to have the chair moved aaaaall the way back for a pedicure. (long long legs) At some salons I get attitude about it. Here, my nail tech remembered me after just one visit and moved the chair without me having to ask. Its the little things that breed loyalty. Ill be sticking with Lux from now on.

UPDATE: it has been three whole weeks since I got my gel manicure. I have been in the ocean, I have washed dishes, I have even built shelves. And my mani has not budged. Needless to say, I am very impressed.Original post: Im on day 6 with my gel manicure, and its still flawless. Ive never had gel polish last more than three days without chipping like crazy, so needless to say, Im impressed! Ive also been really pleased with the acrylic manicures Ive gotten from Lux, and their prices are very reasonable.

Will not be coming here again completely overpriced. Also service was good first time. But nails were horrible called to fix them and when i went in refused to do same designs. Insisted i be recharged. To be honest coming back i wasnt satisfied. Was not offered anything like my first visit. Lastly 3 nails were just filled in with nail glue instead of redoing them. Ended up with bubbles and poor nails. Sorry Lux 👎

When I first started going to Lux Bar they did such a good job, but the more I started to go the more they started to do my nails worse!! I dont know if they were just trying to get there clientele built up so they did good at first but Im def not gonna pay all this money to feel like I could have done that at home.... I wont be going back, and Im just gonna have to find someone else whos prices match there work.
