Not friendly, Not informative, Not worth it! I comforted my own 5 year old daughter through the process. The dental assistant was so serious, she barely so she was not very informative of any of the information needed to understand what my daughter needed to complete her dental work. The dentist came in said hello, advised me he would return to explain what my daughter needed but never showed back up!!! My daughter was literally there a whole 20 minutes in the dental chair, we were in the lobby for 40 mins waiting to be called when our appointment was at 11am. We never received any detailed information of the next procedure, I was only told they can remove her teeth or just wait for them to fall out and never gave me the chance to explain that my daughter is autistic so she wont be able to be awake through dental surgery for teeth removal, even though theyre check in form ask if you need to speak with the dentist about anything privately - which I checked yes! I just couldnt believe how we were treated - definitely felt like a number! I will never return there again. I hope no one takes their children here.

Long wait, nice staff, dentist quoted me way higher than the last time I was in. Plan went from several visits for cavities and one crown to all of the teeth in question needing crowns and a root canal. I’m not saying he is wrong but I will get another opinion. At least the lady that cleaned my teeth was very nice and good at her job. Disappointed would be my stance.

The personnel that work with the dentist directly are great but the front desk, they in no way or form try to accommodate working patients, you ask a question and their answer is cut and dry yes or no, poor customer service

If you’re looking for a dentist that you care not to have a relationship with well this is the place to go.Dr Ward, Dr No Personality, This ( Horrible)dentist walks in and did not speak to me nor did he acknowledge my presence and exit to the next patient, after completing a painful root canal.. His staff is awesome, Belinda was my dental tech and she was more than just a dental tech she was a friend as I poured my heart out to her in pain and in in such disbelief of how Dr Ward displayed such unprofessional bedside manners. I’m pretty sure he can’t tell you rather I was a male or female patient but he’ll never know because I refuse to go again.

I always have a good experience at Greenberg Dental in Sanford! The office managers, the dentist, and the dental hygienists are always nice and very professional. The office itself is very clean. I recommend them!

First time at this office today, it was a pleasant experience. Super quick in and out and everyone was friendly! Definitely will be coming back.

First and foremost stay away from this place. Dr. Michael Ward should not be allowed to practice dentistry. Find another dentist and run! He ruined my mouth, fractured a tooth when he built it up to replace a bridge and could not even figure out he fractured it until he pulled it. I was in severe pain for over two weeks before he said he needed to pull it. He kept saying, “I can’t figure out what’s wrong.” If a dentist can’t figure out what went wrong with a tooth he worked on, then who can? Then when he pulled it he said, “wow, that came out easy. It must have been fractured.” After he pulled the tooth I continued to experience horrific pain. I continued to go back to him every few days and asked him directly if I had a dry socket. Every time he said no dry socket. After numerous trips to this fake and fraud he pulled the other tooth that was supposed to be bridged since he couldn’t recognize a dry socket. Still was having severe pain. Guess what, the front tooth was fine and I had to go to another dentist and found out the tooth he worked on and pulled first had a dry socket. Pain gone with new dentist almost immediately after 1st treatment with new dentist but left with three teeth missing because he pulled the front tooth for a bridge replacement after he pulled the first one he fractured. Now I have recently found out he billed my insurance for a bridge or partial he never did. That’s fraud!!! So I’ve had to deal with my dental insurance to get this resolve. This man is a crook and should have his license revoked and be charge for fraud! Greenberg dental needs to terminate him and file charges. He should never be allowed to practice dentistry . EVER!!!

The staff there are always so nice! They try to be quick and efficient and listen to your concerns. The cleaning was thorough and as gentle as she could be.

Well the receptionist I am not a huge fan of. I believe her name is Heidi. She didn’t greet me with a good morning. She also wanted to bill me $59 at the end of visit for X-rays, check up and cleaning. This is included on my dental Insurance plan. Dr. Ward is an excellent dentist. I just think the receptionist needs some courtesy and service attitude adjustment. This review would be five star if not for the receptionist experience. To be honest, going to the dentist makes me nervous, as it is. Please just be nice. Wow. It is not that hard.

The people here are not friendly at all. They sat behind the front desks and Talked amongst themselves. They’re very rough on teeth also! They cut my gums soo bad I could taste the blood when I left. The doctor did not greet me and did little to no talking at all! He left out the room before I could ask anything. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Gave me the wrong information!!! I called ahead of time before going in to not waste my time. I have to do four extractions for my daughter that she needs to keep on with her braces treatment ( I have her orthodontist with another company not this one!!) and Medicaid covers it! I ask if they take the insurance that would cover her extraction they said yes!! I get to the office, they take her X-rays to tell me her insurance doesn’t cover it. I called my daughters insurance and they said they do cover it to give them the two authorization code I told them I had and the blonde lady who did mot present her name to me said no, so they can bill it.some blonde rude lady has no customer service !! Everyone in that office has no customer service. They are all dry and rude they don’t even look at you in the eye.you can tell all they care about is the money, they trying to charge me $600 for the extractions smh, wasted my time!!!

Dont go to this dental office or trust the dentist @ this office. I just moved to Sanford & should of checked out the area & office before my appointment. The area isnt nice, the door looked like it has never been cleaned & the bathroom was even worse. If I wasnt gonna be charged I would of left. The Dr was gonna charge me $5k for a lot of work that I didnt need. Plus I didnt get a thorough examination. How do I know because I got a 2nd opinion which is not even half of what I was gonna be charged. Not to mention I got a thorough examination. Thats why it took me so long to post my review. Be proactive with your healthcare, all Drs arent ethical or trustworthy.

I loved the education the hygienist provided me. The assistant to the doctor was very sweet. Timeliness was on point. I was in and out within the hour. Office was clean. No waiting. The only complaint is from the time the dentist opened his mouth and said what he found I needed to fix within 30 seconds he was out the room. No time for questions concerns..nada. Lol Im not use to that. Going back to private practices. I need a personal touch.

First time going to this office in Sanford, the staff was great, but the dentist(Ward) was in a hurry come to the room to check my 5 years old daughter, no even said hello, he did’t wash his hands and told her open your mouth check her for 5 seconds and left without say a word to me. If you don’t have the time and patience to work with little kids DON’T do it, to me the experience was like pay for the visit i don’t care about you kid.

Not much to say, its a dental establishment. My only complaint is that they said they would extract a tooth for me and when I went there they said they dont do that. So I was lied to on that regard, either that or miscommunication.

Ive used this dentist for at least 15 years. Dr. Michael Ward is a good dentist. They do very good work here and are efficient as well.

Our experience was beyond aPleasant and enjoyable. I was nervous to change dental offices, however I am pleased to have done so. Clean, quick, and happy visit.

The receptionist was very friendly and professional. The assistant took her time and explain what needed to be done. And it was all in a timely manner. I would recommend this office to anyone

An emergency visit, in pain, first off, I noticed no social distancing rules being followed.Im wary, but in pain, so I wait to be called.I notice zero sanitizing procedure between patients.Even more on edge, but I wait for my x-ray.Dr. Ward comes in and pokes two teeth, leaving me laying down in the chair, and walks away, saying Ive got to write this up.Still NO x-ray.Im wondering what exactly is being written up without an x-ray.Finally, after some confusion, because my name wasnt in the system yet, I get the x-ray.The technician/assistant comes in with paper work for very expensive root canals.I explained to her, I cant afford such procedures, and Im not interested in this paperwork.Paperwork, that I am sure was written up before my x-rays were ever taken.I ask, do I have cavities? Can I see the x-rays?She accesses it on the computer, and nothing was really pointed out. So I ask her again, do these teeth have cavities? Are there any abscesses?She says let me go get the doctor.Dr. Michael Ward is a condescending scam artist.When I explained (repeatedly) that I could not afford the recommend procedures, that would take several stages, which means multiple office visits, and a couple thousand dollars, and I rather opt for the extraction. I was handed paperwork for full price extractions, more than double what my insurance charges, because Dr. Ward refused to put in the right coding.Taking away my rights as a patient to decide my course of treatment.I walked out.No one deserves to be treated so unkind.Do yourself a favor, and steer clear of this dentist.If I could give minus gives stars, I would.

My daughter had an appointment with this dentist office. Before entering, we made a phone call to the front desk to Heather who told us only the patient can go in. Upon arriving into the dentist office, not one person greeted her. All the nurses were sitting in a group behind the desk speaking to each other instead. Then, they continued to speak about her as if she wasnt three feet away in their waiting room. They said, at that point, that I (her father) needed to be in there with her, although they said they only wanted the patient in the office. We decided to leave without their services, and called the front desk once again. I spoke to Heather for the second time, and while I was explaining my displeasure, she hung up on me. I am extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend this office to anyone.

I like the fact that when my son was finally seen they gave me a dental plan that will actually help my son instead of throwing numbers at me and dragging the process out. I didn’t like waiting a hour and a half for a 3 second look at the dentist.

1st time visiting this location by Riverwalk. Very friendly and was in and out in no time!

Stay very clear of this place...... came in for a 6 month cleaning/review and they did Xrays. They told me I only had ONE wisdom tooth and it was fine and didn’t need to come out! 5 months later I started to experience pain really bad in my mouth. Decided to go to a different doctor this time. Turns out I have FOUR wisdom teeth that NEED to be REMOVED and another tooth that is infected. How did a DENTIST fail to see THREE other wisdom teeth, and why would he tell me I don’t need it removed??? Disgusting practice. The doctor wouldn’t even look in my mouth here either.

I had an appointment for 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. for my two kids and when we arrive at 1:45 p.m., the secretary said that the dentist left already and your appointment was for 1:30 p.m. That was wrong and how did they assume if we weren’t coming for the 2 p.m. appointment.

If you dont want to be greeted, ignored and not attended to.. this would be the place for you. No professionalism from the staff in the front. Cant say anything about the actual doctors because not seen.

If I could give it a zero, I would. I was never told about a step in the process of getting my mom a bridge and was told they would call me. I never received the call and so I called twice (a month apart) to find out when the permanent bridge would be in. The first time, I was told it wasn’t ready yet. “We will call you”. Another month passed and I called again. This time I was told the bridge wasn’t ordered but she needed to have an impression done.This is the first I had heard about this separate appointment for the bridge. In the meantime, her temp bridge came out and we are back having to get another temporary bridge in.I asked to get a discount for this failure on their part to communicate the entire plan and was told it was my fault. “They don’t make mistakes” so it must be me.If mom’s insurance was accepted anywhere but here, we would never return here!Complete incompetence!

The WORST dentist ever !I wish I read the reviews before I went, they dont even deserve one star, his service is definitely below minus, it was very obvious all he cared about is making more money & making damages in order for him to have you go back to charge you even more for things that were not needed to begin with !!! if I tell all the damages he did, I need 2 pages long, take my advice if you want good service & good results go to a different dentist.

This place should be closed and the dentist should have his license destroyed!! He looked in my childs mouth, didnt bother to use proper instruments and said she had cavities. Then he states he doesnt allow parents to stay with the children while the fillings are done. I took my child elsewhere and she doesnt have cavities AT ALL!! I will be reporting this dentist and office. The staff is rude. Do not go to this dentist! If he graduated it was at the VERY bottom of the class. I would give them a negative 1 if I could.

Fortunately, I read the Google reviews of at least ten dentists I was forced to consider because they were in Humanas Careington network. I was hard pressed to find any comments that were not disastrous with one star. Steer clear of these guys and save a lot of financial and physical agony. I intent to speak with Humana tomorrow about this travesty!

I wish I could give this place a -1. I NEVER write ill reviews but these are some of the most horrible people I have encountered. The lady was so rude to me on the phone and I asked her to please speak to me like a human and she hung up on me. All I was trying to do was get my records transferred. I called altamonte and they handled it and were kind! So glad I never have to go to the Sanford location again!

I was at this location about one or two months ago the exam was free but even though i had both medicare and humana gold plus both dont cover all for full cleaning which is $300 or so for that but partial upper or low $59 dollars too expensive for full cleaning,to inconvience for partial cleaning,they also said i have period dental problems and need surgery which is from $1000 $3000 thousand dollars i like wow that two or three times my income,thats why i discontinue the appointment for that reason now i still have too worry and wonder will or not my teeth can fully recover life just wasnt meant too be for me for that reason.

Ruined my mouth. My bite will never be the same. Gave me unnecessary caps and left my mouth with small skin flapping everywhere. He was also very very rude and laughed at my questions when I asked. I went to him since I was a kid and now that I’m 22 I have an amazing new dentist. He is the reason I was TERRIFIED of dentists.

Be very leary on going to this dentist. first visit got my teeth cleaned and examined, was told I needed 2 crowns, since I had insurance and they were in my network I trusted they knew what I needed, I agreed and paid my out of pocket portion (over $ 700) Was not real thrilled with my crowns, my bite was never the same. 7 months later I find that my insurance co. denied coverage and declined the appeals because the crowns were not needed per their expert, dentist could not prove I did collect from my insurance co. so they billed me for an additional $ 758, no one really was concerned when I contacted them for more info. just told me to contact my insurance carrier. I am going to pay the additional $$ to keep my good credit but will go out of my way and leave my bad review and try to save someone else from my mistake.

This place needs to be shut down. Im in the process of filing a complaint with the FL board of Dentistry. They not only lie about what work you need done, but they do absolutely awful work. Ive never had so many issues and so much mouth pain. A small filling I had done a month ago is soooo sensitive to hot and cold, I have an appointment with a legit dentist at another office to check it and all of Greenbergs work.Also, when getting a crown done, my temporary fell off or broke FOUR times. Then when I went into get the permanent one, it split in half!This place is dangerous. Please dont put yourself through the pain and frustrations of going here!!

My wife went here for a toothache a couple years ago. They told her she needed a root canal. During the procedure, the doctors drill rested on her lip causing burns that blistered. We changed dentists, and then a couple weeks later we got a check from the insurance company for the procedure. I would avoid this place if it was the last dentist in town. I would drive to another state if I had to after her experience. They screwed it up from the procedure to the billing. Incompetence at its best!

A female dentist assistant with long hair was being so rude towards me. She shoved white cotton balls in my mouth and told me to calm down. I had a very horrible experience there.

Oh i dont like this place. Theyre awful!! i feel they really dont care about patients. my daughter was terrified and the dentist did nothing to make her feel at ease. he didnt explain anything to her. i asked if she had a infection, bc shes in pain. he said no. they said oh shes not gonna cooperate. they rude, and unprofessional. if my daughter wasnt in soo much pain, i woulda showed my a$$. they didnt do anything for her anyways. i transfered her out quick. I transferred her out to mainstreet dental in orange city, and theyre amazing!!

My daughter had dental procedures done earlier. After waiting 45 minutes after her appointment time she was finally called back. They numbed her mouth and the dentist left. The tech was talking about payment. Said I would have to pay the portion the ins didnt cover. I said i was told I could do a payment plan and she asked by who. I said the tech at the initial appt and the receptionist said they could absolutely do a payment plan no problem. The female tech said she has to find out about it. Apparently the dentist has to approve of the payment plan first. Well he didnt. I had to pay 194 that I didnt have because I was told I could do a payment plan. They already numbed her so said they had to do all the work on that side. Fine whatever. Then for my 7 yo real true first experience with a dentist they made me leave the room. I could tell the look on her face she didnt want me to leave her. So I went in waiting room and after a few minutes of thinking I went to the reception desk and asked why I was told to leave the room seeing as my daughter was scared and a minor. Seeing as my mom was always by my side whrn i was younger. the male receptionist restated my question as if he was sympathizing with me and the other receptionist cut him off and said it was for safety because hes using tools. Whatever. So after a few minutes she came out with the tech and was done. She had to have crowns put on baby teeth and they put god awful hideous silver crowns. And I understand its cheaper and I have state ins but cmon now this poor girl has to have silver teeth for next few years? So after arguing about the payment plan. I had to overdraw my account and I paid and asked how to do the payment plan for her next appointment and she said the dentist will need to approve it when I come on for the other side of her mouth. Needless to say the whole payment plan is bs. I will find another dentist that actually cares about my child and my concerns. Dont go here if you can help it.

I had to get 1 filling 2 years ago left with half of my teeth drilled on and they destroyed my whole bottom jaw I live everyday in complete agony and cant afford the damage they have done to me.

I went a year ago Excellent Service from both the staff in General and the Dentist, I had to make a small suture in my gum for the extraction of a tooth and everything came out perfect!
