My husband has been struggling with pain and infection for years. We came for a consult and they explained everything thoroughly and got him in the next day to get all wisdom 4 teeth taken out. (DONT GO HERE) i had to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and this doctor acted like its no big deal all while i am in agonizing pain and he does nothing but give me three hydrocodone, had i known i would have definitely gone elsewhere for surgery. Ive had 5 or 6 sleepless nights all with being up till 5 AM today, this doc was negligent to his customer in my opinion... doesnt care about his patients and whats the point in being a Doctor if you dont help your patients throughout there tough times, i really think you deserve a 1 star rating.

Wow! Where do I even begin? Let me start by saying how AMAZING this doctor and staff are. 6 yrs ago I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed under IV sedation. They were all nice, patient, understanding of my anxiety even if at some times it can be irrational especially in a dentist setting 😬😬. Dr. Dewild was put on this earth for people like me! Seriously! What a compassionate, kind and gentle human! His bedside manner is top notch! Today Unfortunately, I had to have another procedure that required IV sedation and there was nowhere else I was going to go to than this office!! So we drove 1hr to get there. Again, the staff all amazing and sweet, the front staff, doctor, nurses EVEN the billing person! Bravo guys! Keep up the good job! You are making such a difference in the world of dentistry. Doctor office is very clean. Staff was very professional and and made understanding my sons injury clear. Dr. DeWild is easy going and he did a wonderful job on my sons jaw. I could not have picked a better doctor. He was the trauma surgeon on call at ORMC. He did not let my son stay in pain. And the level of care he recieved is amazing. I loved the office decor as well. I started out on July 1st somewhere else for a root canal that never really got completed. Complicated and long story but I decided to have it removed instead and couldnt find a dentist appointment til the end of the month and that was just to get a consultation first. I was recommended to call Dr. Dewild from my local dentist office (like I said complicated (tooth infection) and I was able to get in within 24 hrs for a consultation and extraction. Dr. Dewild explained all the possibilities of bone loss, sinus cavity and a whole lot more. I felt super comfortable and appreciated his patience to explain and educate me on the worse case scenario but everything went smoothly and pain free. I highly recommend him. I definitely recommend Florida Oral Surgery for wisdom tooth extraction. The atmosphere of the office is light, and open, and friendly. The staff are knowledgeable and always very willing to explain everything thoroughly. It is day 1 post surgery. No complications or concerns, thankfully. Surgery went smoothly, in fact the entire process was faster than expected. The Dr and staff were kind, calm, and positive which was helpful to my nerves. The process has been so much easier than I ever expected. I’m looking forward to the post op Appt to get final thumbs up. Very pleased.

HORRIBLE - WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!The good reviews are completely misleading!!!! I went in for a consultation for my child and although the receptionist was nice the nurse was so rude and the Doctor was even worse! My Childs ortho recommended we see an oral surgeon for the removal of 2 teeth and possible exposures. I also saw a general dentist the week before our visit to the oral surgeon and they said she may only need 1 tooth extracted because the other was about to fall out and probably wouldnt need an exposure on that side.I provided all of the X-rays and referrals. When I tried to verify the nurse had the current paperwork for the doctor to review she gave me so much attitude! The doctor came in and he was worse than the nurse! He barely looked at my child, he barely looked at the X-ray.... When I brought up the recommendations he said- OKAY! just dont do the surgery and delay the orthodontic treatment its up to you!... I said Im obviously here to continue treatment and I was looking for your expert opinion based on the current x-ray he said I cant answer that its like going to a restaurant and having them tell you if you wanted the chicken salad or a burger.... I said WHAT? You cant look at the X-ray and tell me if my child needs to have surgery on that tooth?He replied in a nasty tone GO BACK TO YOUR ORTHODONTIST AND ASK THEM! OR DELAY YOUR ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT.I have NEVER been treated like this by any doctors office in my life!!! My daughter and I couldnt wait to leave and both looked at each other when we left and agreed NO FREAKING WAY WOULD WE EVER GO BACK TO THE OFFICE.

Oh my goodness, we couldnt have been more pleased! This is our second son to have their wisdom teeth out. Both were excellent experiences. One had sedation, one had local anesthesia due to other medical issues. Dr. DeWild and his staff were caring, helpful and concerned about every detail, and went above and beyond in researching the best way to approach our situation and put us at ease. Excellent care, staff, follow up and availability even after hours and weekends to text the doctor with any questions. We will definitely be recommending this office to others!

Absolutely amazing. I’ve had multiple teeth extracted at different places, but Dr. DeWild is different.He takes care of his patients, he makes you feel comfortable, and he is very open and honest about the risks that may occur. Super affordable prices and it’s itemized and understandable. They made it seem super easy and smooth, and it was a very professional procedure. I’m really honest and would typically critique them, but they exceeded my expectations and I was absolutely blown away, and there’s no way I could say anything below a 5 star. What kind of Dr. gives you his personal cell phone number that you can text at ANYTIME to ask questions? I woke up in excruciating pain at 3am, couldn’t help but text him, and he replied back immediately and got me in the office for a check up (was 4 days after extraction). Again, no words can explain how satisfied I am with this practice. Hopefully I won’t need any more teeth pulled, but if I do, I’m not going anywhere else but here.

What a GREAT place! I had an appointment in abt 3 weeks, but asked if I could be on a cancellation list if possible. Got a call this morning and was seen. NEVER did I get the feeling that I was worked in, didnt feel rushed. Very sweet and professional staff, all was very well explained by Dr and staff. Im the biggest chicken when it comes to dental issues. Felt very comfortable and extremely well taken care of. Not looking forward to the procedure, but I just KNOW, Im in the best hands possible.

My first review ever. I got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and usually anything that relates with anesthesia or doctors freak me out, make me anxious and nervous. Staff was friendly from the second I walked in, to the second I left. The lady doing the payments was so worried about my pain when my first visit happened before the surgery that even though they didn’t have anything available for over 10 days, she told me she would called me if someone canceled. In fact, only 3 days later she said that next day could do. On surgery day, they let my mom be in the room while I fall asleep and when I woke up. Ashley (I believe was her name) made feel so comfortable and safe while getting me all ready. I am so grateful she assisted me that day, but it wasn’t until the doctor prayed for me that I knew God was there and everything was going to be fine. I’m just amazed with that place and recommend it 1000%.

Dr. DeWild was very attentive, thorough and gentle in the oral surgery he performed. I highly recommend him for any oral procedure that is needed. He spent ample time with me explaining the procedure prior to surgery and afterwards. His staff was courteous, pleasant and efficient and I felt comfortable in the office.

The office Is very clean and attractive. The staff was very nice professional and very helpful. The dentist on the other hand I was very disappointed in. I was referred to him by dentist for a difficult extraction. The cost of visit had been discussed prior to appt and I had no problem with that. When it was time to pay, I was informed that there would be an additional $25.00 charge for a clearance from my primary doctor. I said I would hand deliver the papers to my doctor and return them to dentist and there would be no cost to his office. He then said he would still charge the 25.00 for reading the results. Needless to say I found another dentist in Lake Mary right away and will never step foot inside the office again while he is still the dentist. Should be ashamed of himself.

Great staff and clean office! Everyone was so kind and made me feel comfortable. I came in for a consultation for a wisdom tooth extraction and I ended up getting it taken out the same day, all within 2 hours. Dr. DeWild was wonderful and listened to all of my concerns and questions, all while providing educated and honest answers. The extraction itself was quick (probably only a minute or 2) and painless. I also appreciate that they have Michi to go over all of the costs with you in detail. OH! And while waiting for the numbing cream & anesthesia to kick in, I saw that as soon as a patient left the chair, in less than 5 minutes someone already went in and wiped and cleaned everything down- definitely made me even more comfortable with COVID. Although her mouth is somewhat sore, as to be expected, she is up and about this morning, her face is not swollen and that is because you went the extra step in putting an icepack on her face after her wisdom teeth were extracted. The only thing I would suggest is that you automatically assume all school kids will need a note to their school excusing their absence....I forgot to mention that and need to come back and get it. Best oral surgeon I’ve had, he prayed before putting me under and the staff waited till I was able to get up after. They also called my mother who is taking care of me, to ask how I’ve been doing after the surgery. Very professional and efficient service all around.

I had what I felt was an emergency tooth concern that turned out to be nothing and he was very kind and took the time to explain the different things that could be going on with my jaw pain. He didnt even charge me for the visit which I appreciated greatly considering he took the time to see me. I am bringing my daughter to him for a tooth extraction and I am very secure in trusting my daughters health in his hands. Due to severe pain, they got me in a week earlier than my appointment. The day after the hurricane. They were Very efficient, no waiting to begin the process. I was having severe pain from an impacted wisdom tooth that grew into an infection & went to see a dentist who recommended me to an oral surgeon in the area but that surgeon couldnt even see me for a consultation for weeks. My fiancee stumbled upon Dr DeWild & his team online and it was the best outcome possible.They saw me the next day for a consult & the following day was my surgery (Thank God). He did an excellent job. I was very nervous but the staff made me feel comfortable. He even said a prayer for me before surgery. He explained absolutely everything & really put me at ease. It was even affordable! They had a special going on just by chance!He is a great Doctor! And the staff is super friendly! Theyre fast & efficient & caring all at the same time. Wish I could find more doctors & staff like them in other settings.

It was my first time ever having a tooth pulled; I wasnt even intending on getting the tooth pulled that day, but Dr. DeWild said it would only take five to ten minutes and that he could fit me in ( it was very late in the day). Everything went smoothly and I would say the actual procedure was less than a few minutes. All and all I highly recommend them!

Nobody likes to see an oral surgeon. But this office staff and dr made my visit informative, comfortable and pleasant. The office is clean and the staff was wonderful to talk to. I highly recommend this office.

The whole team at Florida Oral Surgery was great. I felt that they took the time to explain everything. My son was in good hands. The whole staff is very friendly and I appreciate the follow up call to make sure he was recovering nicely.

Wow! I should of found you way before Wed 11/29/17. I have still to get work on my other teeth to call your office upon! Your office is new, clean, non dentistry order smell, ENGLISH speaking, there was no office personnel speaking Spanish among themselves, that is called respect for other patients and America! The entire staff and Dr. DeWild are amazing. I also want to specifically thank Vanessa. She is wonderful. She has a great future ahead of her. They all have such great demeanor and are so careful with everything. This is my second time at this office and I highly recommend them. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable.

They did an excellent job! Great bedside-manner and the entire staff seems to love what they do. During my consultation, Dr. DeWild explained everything so well and kept it simple. It seemed like the whole tooth extraction process to him was just as natural as breathing. Scheduling was simple and so was the explanation of all included costs. The atmosphere was peaceful and they had some of the most amazing photographs of natural scenery on every wall. Not to mention one of the cleanest public restrooms Ive seen since I moved to Central Florida 7 years ago. Awesome place, awesome experience, awesome prices, and awesome people. If you need a tooth extracted, this is where you go.

Everyone was as sweet as pie once again. Two of my children have had procedures done here. The atmosphere was very calming and pleasant both times. Dr. DeWild was thorough in his explanations and took time to address all concerns. The staff did a great job making my children feel comfortable.

The dr and staff made me feel comfortable and safe! I came in crying thinking about how painful it would be to get my top 2 wisdom teeth extracted and left with no pain. once The numbing medicine kicked in, it took about 1 min on each tooth to get them removed.
