They aren’t all bad but i wouldn’t recommend buying a car from them, my car kept overheating and i couldn’t figure out why, the car was basically new with 85000 miles on it, runs good but before I bought the car I asked if he could fix the ac and everything, well it’s been a week and some change and they still have barely even fixed anything, they really be slacking, and I really don’t wanna pay these payments for the simple fact I don’t have a car atp in time. And plus they NEVER answer the phone when they do ‘I’ll call you back’ and never calls back. I’m just completely exhausted and disappointed with all of them.

Don’t buy from them! Terrible auto sales place they like to screw you over.

Awesome place to rent a vehicle. Fast an secure rental. Everyone here is nice a have great customer service. All you need is drivers license, Car Insurance, an proof of address. An make sure that the gas is back at the level from which you left with the vehicle. This was my first time ever renting a vehicle here an it due wont be my last. My #1 go to car rental place. An the rental prices are great as well.

Car Hunters have got cars online for cheap prices nice looking vehicles but they swear they would never sell a car that cheap they say it never happened but they got it online somebody needs to straighten the problem out because Ive looked two or three times and I keep telling me never would happen wouldnt sell nothing that cheap false advertisement to get your response or to get you there

BEST in Sanford! I have rented from Car Hunters several times and I can honestly say they have always been top notch. Ive rented vans for church trips, moving trucks, cars when needed, and even a two week rental car for a long trip. Every time, its been perfect. They do everything to make your rental experience the best it can be. Also, I have referred them to others which means a lot.

Do not trust George Akers or John McCann they are thieves and liars, they promised to hold our deposit until we could afford the truck we wanted instead they sold it and kept our $3000 of our $5000 deposit. Filing with BBB but please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!

If I could give them no stars I would!! I have rented from them several times in the past. While filling out paper work i noticed they always seem to find something wrong when people returned the cars they had rented. Because of this with every rental I made sure that i was very detailed while checking the cars over with the agents.Sometimes they even got a little frustrated when I pointed out things. I even had one say to me that these cars are not perfect you know. I began to take pictures just so that I would have them just in case but, it did no good! I returned a car that i had rented and the agent pointed out a spot on the seat and, stated that I would be charged a cleaning fee for that. I explained to her that the spot had been there when I picked the car up and even tried to show her the photo that i had taken. She refused to look at the photo and took the cleaning fee out of my deposit. When I asked to see the manager a guy came out and wouldnt even speak to me at all, He asked the agent if the car was dirty and she stated that there was a spot on the seat. He looked at me and stated then your paying for it I started to show him the photo of the very same spot on the seat before i even got the keys and, he raised his voice and stated Im not looking at any photo I have been a good customer to the rental department but this was unacceptable. Never will I rent from them again.

WE CURRENTLY HAVE A LEGAL SUITE ON THIS DEALERSHIP. I REALLY WISH I COULD RATE THIS PLACE LESS THAN POOR, BECAUSE IT IS!! DO NOT... I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE! THE OWNER IS MONEY HUNGRY AND DOES NOT GIVE A S*** ABOUT WHAT HE IS SELLING TO HIS CUSTOMERS. ALL THE VEHICLES ARE OVERPRICED LEMONS AND EACH ONE OF THEM ARE A PIECE OF JUNK! WE DROVE AWAY IN OUR VEHICLE, NOT EVEN 45 DAYS LATER THERE WAS A MAJOR PROBLEM ($1500.00 PROBLEM) GOING ON WHICH PREVENTED US FROM DRIVING IT ANY LONGER. WE PAID CAR HUNTERS $1500.00 DOWN AND WERE PAYING THEM $85.00 WEEKLY. THEY WOULDNT EVEN AGREE TO PUT US IN ANOTHER VEHICLE UNLESS WE PAID YET ANOTHER $1500.00 DOWN PAYMENT. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! SO HERE WE ARE STUCK WITH THIS PIECE OF JUNK CAR WITH A $1500.00 REPAIR ON OUR HANDS AND WE ARE OUT OF $1500.00 BECAUSE THEY REFUSED TO GIVE US OUR DOWN PAYMENT BACK... AND AGAIN, WE HADNT EVEN HAD THE CAR LONGER THAN 45 DAYS. CAR HUNTERS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THE WAY THEY TREAT LOCAL CUSTOMERS. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY FREAKING WORST ENEMY.

I needed to rent a car from here and the staff said they were all booked out. Got a call a day later and they had a ride for me. Very quick service and excellent follow through. I know several friends that have been buying cars from these guys for years. From conversations I have heard around town, Carhunters is the cream of th crop for quality of vehicle in this used car market. Def wouldnt trust anyone else.

Reasonable payment plan but you way overpay for the car in the end. Im gonna pay over 9000 dollars for a car that I found out today from Kelly blue book isnt even worth 1500...EDIT to my first review. I had a problem with the car thought it was the transmission in a 2015 Nissan Versa and after paying over 6 GRAND on the car they just came and picked it up. Should have done my research because apparently this is just the dishonest type of business they do.

We have rented several cars from here. The last time we rented for a 650 mile trip. Once we hit about 55 miles, we turned on the radio and learned that only 2 stations worked. We pulled over to see if the antenna needed to be pulled up. It was gone. We called Car Hunters and told them the antenna was not there. I asked if I could get some kind of discount for having a car with virtually no radio. The owner said no because its a 2015 and SHOULD have an antenna. I told him yes it should..but it doesnt and we are driving over 600 miles with only 2 working stations (later in the trip it went down to 1). He told me to stop at a Nissan dealership and get his car an antenna. Then he told me if I didnt like driving without a radio..I can rent from somewhere else next time. We have 3 more trips to take this year and we will surely rent from elsewhere all 3 times.

My daughter put a down payment on a vehicle and a little over a month later the timing belt jumped. She called car hunters to tell them she was stranded in the middle of nowhere 5 hours away from home and they replied with after you leave the lot, theres nothing we can do...sorry. This place specializes in selling lemons!

Within 24 hours of purchase, of what I thought was a promising vehicle, I had to return to the lot to have the check engine light looked at. After being lied to by the employees of Car Hunters about the issue being Just a problem with the gas cap, it had indeed been a HUGE problem with the catalytic converters. One completely blown, the other about to go! Furthermore, the inspection, barely over a week old, had PASS alongside the checkbox for catalytic converter. Sound illegal? Not only did Car Hunters refuse to fix the faulty vehicle they had just sold me, they also refused to return my sizable down payment. Please, for the sake of your wallets, your pateince, and your decency, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS, THIEVES, AND LIARS!

This establishment in my opinion is the worst I had to experience. The workers are rude and very unprofessional and doesnt try to help and find ways to help their customers when they come across unforeseen circumstances. I would not recommend thjs dealership to anyone.

They sold me a truck in February of this year and the truck was a lemon. It lasted five months. The worst place to purchase a car from. Most of these comments are false. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I would not recommend my worse enemy to buy a car from John the crock..... Vehicles look nice but you will always have a problem bought a Aspen from them transmission no good so the 2007 Aspen they have on the lot beware. Paid a $1500.00 down payment then traded to get out from under the transmission problem had to pay a $1000.00 down payment again. Within the first month of having the car had $350.00 worth of repairs to the car. Then the speed odometer stopped working never knew how fast you are going.... My car payment was due on the 15th talked with John told him I would have on the 28th 3 days pass the 10 day grace period he said no problem what so ever he sent someone on the 27th to pick up the vehicle, but was so nice when question why he sent someone to pick up the car talking about you have 30 days to come get the car (pay the payment plus the $450.00 repo fee) NO THANKS IT CAN BE SOMEONE ELSES PROBLEM AND MONEY PIT!!!!!!!
