I’ve been going to this nail salon for 6 months now and I’ve always gotten great service… they give amazing pedicures the smooth heels one is my favorite and it keeps my heals smooth for weeks usually they get dry and crusty after a few days.. they have great color selection and the shop itself is really clean.. I highly recommend this place!

Super unimpressed with this place. Went in very shortly after they opened. There was only one other client there and I was bounced around between 3 chairs and 2 people before they even did anything. I had existing dipping powder nails that needed to be removed and wanted new ones on my natural nail. It took 2 hours. TWO. Absolutely ridiculous. Didn’t even leave with the shape I wanted and asked for multiple times, fuzz in my dipped nails, and the lady didn’t even put the final coat on one hand!! Will definitely never be back here.

I would highly recommend this salon! The employees were kind and communicative, introducing themselves to me and letting me know if I had any issues with my nails that they want me to come back so they can fix them! I got dippowder with fake tips, she worked quickly and did so well on them. They did charge me an extra $5 for coffin shape but i don’t mind.

My friend went here and all of her nails were filed different lengths and when she asked the owner to fix them she VERY rudely threatened to cut them all off and if she were to fix them it would be another $15. On top of that she called ahead and she told her to get there 30 minutes from then and after she shows up and makes her wait another 45 minutes. They’re also all slanted different ways and when her other friend started getting her nails done the owner stopped in the middle of hers to go work on another customer. Absolutely ridiculous after hearing about this I would NEVER come here these were her nails after btw

I went here for the first time since they were called sassy nails and they have improved a lot! I got a parrafin wax pedicure and my feet are so smooth! I got a fill in, my nails were dip powder with coffin tips, and they did very well! I got black coffin nails with flame accents on my ring fingers to start off the month of october with a spooky baddie look !

I went with my boyfriend for a manipedi on Sunday and is barely Tuesday and as you can see in my picture it was the WORSE service I have gotten since we starting doing mani-pedi and is annoying to see how bad they do work, I noticed this since we left the place but we saw the “owner” fighting with a customer which it got us a little scared they would say “fuck you too” so we just left without even acknowledging their bad work, I promise you I’m sure you can find another and better place to get this service done. If I could give them a ZERO stars I would but unfortunately I cant. We pay 90dlls I didn’t even tip because I was so mad about everything, anyways consider reading this review before you go there!!!!!

This place is great! My nails were done very quickly but they look perfect! A great price & was super clean. 10/10 would recommend.

Went in with a friend and my daughter. My friend was waiting with her nails soaking for over 40 minutes. No one checked on her. Another person came in after us and she was getting her nails done prior to my friend.Was told by a worker I didnt know that she was with you. I had said that I was paying for three of us.I use to love this place and the customer service. Now it seems like they have little service.I will not be back.

I did not personally use this business but my wife did and her experience was a complete disaster. Their motto is “show us a picture and you get what you asked for” well they don’t hold up to that motto. In the 7 years I have been with my wife she has NEVER called me crying because she HATES the way her nails looked. She was there for 2 hours and after 3 different techs couldnt get the job done she simplified it, and having to be on a time crunch gave up. The acrylic work is not professional at all, there are uneven amounts underneath her nail, and those are the ones that have stayed on after only 3 days. Needless to say she will never be going back here again I hope none of you ladies risk going here either.

I loved it here. Best dip manicure Ive ever had. A lot more pain involved than usual, when filing. But, all in all it was wonderful and I was pleased. They quickly got me in a chair, hardly any wait time. Quick and quality!! I only wish I knew my stylists name.

Don’t come here. I got a full set done and an eyebrow wax. Starting with the wax, the lady who did it got wax in my hair and had to pick it out with her nails pulling on my hair and using rubbing alcohol. Another woman came in who helped fix it up cause the first couldn’t do it properly. They did not give any aloe or lotion after the wax so my face was red and burning. I later asked for aloe to cool down the area and it took about 10 minutes to get it.Now for the nails, I asked for the length to be kept under the tips and the man ignored me cutting my nails anyway. No biggie, he continued on my set. When filing he filing my skin down to the point of flinching and pulling back involuntarily 6 times. Made me bleed twice. Was straight up filing my skin. I have very small nail beds so that happens a lot at first, but this man continued to hurt me and didn’t change the angles to prevent doing so. Never had that happen before. Regardless, I didn’t complain because at the time because one person doesn’t always reflect the shop as a whole, but upon coming home and seeing my nails there is acrylic under almost all of them and some of my nails are square and some are coffin. They didnt even get the shape consistent.If you come here make sure you are not serviced by an older man.

My cousin and I came here and we saw good reviews on here so we thought it would be a good place to go. Well when we walk in we’re immediately sat and then my cousins nail tech started removing her set within seconds. She was going so fast that she tore a part of her actual nail off. She was bleeding and in decent pain the rest of the time she was working on her nails. She seemed rushed even though we were the only people in there for a while and it was only 2:30 in the afternoon. My nail tech was fine, she did a good job on my nails so that’s the only reason I’m rating them two stars.

I went to get my nails and eyebrows waxed and the nails turned out fine.... not $65 worth but the lady did amazing. When it came to do my eyebrows when I say I was scared I was SCARED. It’s like she didn’t know what she was doing, she burned me, took off half my eyebrow at the top and was very aggressive pulling the paper off to where she had to pull it multiple times to get it off and I don’t think she even used tweezers to clean it up. 1/10 for waxing

Definitely will not be going back. Went in for a full set and pedicure. Water for pedicure was scalding and the tech walked away so there was nobody to fix it for quite some time. Then when the tech did return, my pedicure felt rushed with almost no massage. Tech who did my full set would not listen when I told her I liked them short. Then tried to push the dip powder on me when I said repeatedly I wanted the gel. Finally, they tried to overcharge me for the pedicure. Save your money and go somewhere else.

T and Joelle did an amazing job. We can in about 40 minutes til closing and they took us no problem. I will definitely be returning.

After having a bad experience at Salon Central (Another nail shop in San Marcos) I was very iffy about giving another nail shop service, but after coming to The Nail Lounge I can definitely say I’m very pleased with my experience and will be back!

Helen was great! I had a dip manicure for my first time and I really enjoyed it. She paid attention to every little edge of my nails and she was super sweet. I will definitely be back to Sassy Nails

I’ve tried so many nail salons in San Marcos, but Sassy Nails has to be my favorite. All the employees are friendly and professional. Their store is always clean and inviting. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. I love my nails every single time I come here.

Establishment was clean and followed COVID regulations. Staff was great and helpful. Tina did an amazing job and made my experience fun! They recently renovated and its super cute!

The man named Kevin Began my new set. He brought out the fake nail to pry the old ones off. I had to stop him and asked for acetone wraps. I was there for a pedi as well. . He was so rough and mad, I stopped the pedi. I asked a female to do my nails. The guy was smiling at the pain he inflicted. They yelled at him in Vietnamese, and were mad that I stopped my foot service. She didnt want to shape my manicure, then charged full price for both at the end. Floor was upswept and barely provided a water to drink. Never go there. I asked where Christina was from formerly Sassy Nails, they said only goneShe is why I went there. New name, new owner same location, but poor, poor service. Didnt even want to risk wax.Dont go there. Get a backup or two salon.

This is my go to for pedicures in San Marcos. I’ve been going there for several years and never a problem. The nail pros here are very dedicated and focused. They accept walk-ins and really work hard to get everyone seen to. The pedicure chairs are luxurious. I feel pampered when I am done, and the prices are very reasonable.

First time here, HORRIBLE JOB!! I asked for nails for my Wedding and this is what they did, I asked for the natural color on the picture and first picture I got orange, they couldnt not even do the initials.

The first time I ever went here was a week ago. All I asked for was a gel manicure and gel pedicure. The guy doing my pedicure had to start over twice. He also didn’t shaped my nails or toenails evenly. My toenails started out the same length and he finished them with one cut basically down to the quick. He didn’t seem experienced AT ALL. I’m never one to write a review but my gel is already chipping. It didn’t even last a week.... I don’t recommend.

I have pageant headshots today and needed nails and lashes last minute. They open early, have all services available, and are conscientious of the customer.

Terrible work. My girlfriend has to get her nails redone within a week. The quality just stunk. And my feet were raw from them using a cheese grater on them.

This girl that does my nails can do anything you ask,they last, they look amazing and take care of you quickly! The guys are awesome to,dont get me wrong,I just prefer to have a female do my nails! If I ever have an issue, its promptly taken care of and I have been to salons from San Antonio to Austin and in between, there is no comparison and they are well worth the wait!!

Christina is the best! She did my nails exactly like I asked her to and she is very sweet and patient. Totally recommend her to do your nails. This place was recommended to me by a friend and Im super satisfied! Definitely will be going back to get my nails done. San Marcos girls go here you will not be disappointed!

Love it here! My go to, Christina is amazing, always do my acrylic nails with her. She’ll do exactly what you want how you want it with no problem! Would give 5 stars but I think it could be a little cheaper and i mean like 4 dollars cheaper lol. Other than that everything is amazing! Great pedicures too so relaxing 😍

Absolutely horrible experience. I gave this place a try due to a recommendation from a friend and I have to say I wish I had never came here. For starters the wait is absolutely ridiculous even for a weekday for them not to do such a good job. I had one of the guys do my nails and regret it immediately. I asked for coffin shaped and he left them long straight in squared instead of the coffin curve inward like they’re supposed to be. Wish I could figure out how to post pictures. My nail broke the same day.. it was 1 nail yet each time I tried going between work I waited more than an hour so I had to leave. Needless to say within 3 days I tried going 4 times and ended up having 3 nails broken by then. I never thought they’d break so easily considering how obnoxiously thick he left them... when he finally got around to fixing my broken nails he tried forcing them off even though they were JUST put on with one of the nail tips INSTEAD OF SOAKING THEM LIKE YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO. He ended up ripping my nail and making me bleed... another nail tech ended up assisting me and noticed the shape and thickness right away without me having to say anything.

I absolutely love my nails. The gentleman that did them was amazing! I wish I got his name but sassy nails is 100% my go to place for mani/pedis from now on.

This is now my go to Salon! As we all know it’s very difficult to change places once you get used one that’s how I was back home I loved the people who did my nails they did it perfect to my specifications every time friendly service prompt and efficient I have gone to multiple salons here in San Marcos and gave mediocre service and all right manicures. The people at Sassy Nails are friendly welcoming and they’ll actually talk to you plus their corgi Beau is the cutest thing ever!! I would recommend the salon to any and everyone great service great environment and quality results😍🤟👌PS: I got a dip powder manicure and a basic pedicure both very reasonably priced if not one of the cheaper options here in San Marcos

I got a pedicure here while they were dealing with an irate customer who was being completely racist and cruel towards them. They handled it with such grace and professionalism, and did everything they could to make me and the other customers feel more comfortable by the racist lunatic was creating a scene. My pedicure came out flawless despite the high tension and bad energy the racist woman created. Nothing but respect for the workers at this salon. I’ll definitely be back. Also the salon was very clean and had a great selection of nail colors. The environment was wonderful before the problematic customer went wacko on them!!

Not happy with the manicure or the pedicure. The nails were made too thick at the tips. They were also not tapered at the sides and the back by the cuticle. The gentleman asked me several times if the length was ok. Once should have been enough. I asked for a natural look and color. He gave me a ghostly looking pale pink. the pale pink was ok but they were ghostly looking. Some of the tops were wavy. I paid $40 for the pedicure and she hardly even lowered 3 callouses I had. This is my third day and can already feel the discomfort of the callouses. I will not be going back to this shop. Or any other shop in San Marcos. Why cant SM get GOOD manicurists in. I have tried a few. The only one that did a great job was Timmy and he disappeared, hopefully for a better job somewhere. There was one other manicurist in town that helped me cure a fungus I contracted and I thank him very much, but sadly Im no longer his customer.. I will only go back to the manicurists in San Antonio and New Braunfels.

Okay first of all dont ever get waxed at any asian nail salon. I worked for European Wax Center and learned what proper waxing is. At asian nail salons they double dip in the wax so theyre putting wax on your skin that has touched lots of people before you, and putting that on your open pores is really bad for your skin. Go to a professional waxing place instead. There are european wax centers in Austin, and there is actually a waxing center in San Marcos by the Which Wich!

The best pedicure Ive ever had

First time I went today, and the guy was yanking my arm the whole time. He was so rude. I was gonna get my acrylics taken off, and replace with shellac, and get my toes done. Ended up just getting my acrylics taken off. I won’t be returning.

Horrible....horrible employees as well....and the hours our not what the claims. Was there at 10:00am and waited an hour and still the store was still call.

Claim they open at 10 (Online and posted at the salon door. ) waited for 45 minutes and still no one arrived.

Such a clean place, the people there speak Vietnamese but they also speak English some of them. They do there best to communicate with you so please be patient with them. But I’ve been to so many nail salons in San Marcos and the employees here are the most friendly employees I’ve met. Also I got a pedi done from Moni and she is super nice and so is Julie who did my boyfriend’s pedicure. Annie did such an amazing job on designing my nails and helen did a great job shaping my nails. T the manger was super friendly.

They are exactly how I wanted them and I truly appreciate her patients and diligence when working with me to find nails that matched my dress for my dads wedding! My sister gave me a gift card for my birthday and I was not disappointed. I was greeted promptly at the front desk and helped right away. They offer many different types of wonderful services I got a pedi forgot the name of the one I got but it was jelly and I got tons of rubbed down on my legs and feet. I left there with my legs and feet feeling awesome. Now the outside was great looking but when I walked inside I felt like I was back on vacation somewhere on an island again. This is a great spa like treatment and they are busy and prompt. Will be coming back for services again and again. The lady who made this experience so great was Jolie a young lady and she did an awesome job

Fantastic experience! I throughly enjoyed my pedicure with Jolie. Nice ans friendly staff. The nail salon is really cute and clean. The best I’ve seen in San Marcos and trust me I’ve been to many salons here and no where else compares.
