What a great nail salon. Its been over one year since I have had a pedicure due to the pandemic. My nails were thoroughly and carefully prepared in a sanitary tub. The gentleman who gave me the pedicure really cares about nails and has a medical eye when it comes to trimming and cleaning. He is a skilled nail technician. I now have beautiful, shiny and perfectly shaped, fire engine red toe nails. Hooray!

Rose was so kind, patient, and humorous as I tried to make up my mind with what I wanted. Everyone LOVED the result of her hard work, and I will definitely be coming back again. She was fast and precise, and checked in with me repeatedly to make sure I liked what she was doing. Everyone go here.

I absolutely love this place. I go here every 3 weeks for a gel manicure and I get a pedicure every once in a while too. It is the most affordable place in town by far! The owners are extremely nice and very understanding if you want specific things done with your nails or if you dont like something (they dont judge)! My nails always last long and I call ahead to be sure so that they can get me in right away! As a former nail biter, my nails have never been so healthy!

Id give 0 stars if i couldI went here Monday for a full set ive had my nails done tons of times ive been here obe otger time as well. This particular time the man who did my nails seemed to be doing great. But he continued to say oh theyre too thin and too long. Okay soo im like okayy ice had plenty of sets thin and long lasted a month. So i lewve i pay the very next morning one popped off but i didnt have much time so i went the next day but before i could get there 2 nails popped off so now its thursday i go in tell them id like my money back the guy immediately starts telling me i told you to be careful an no we are not refunding then he Literally just ignored me. So the lady tells me she can fix it so i let her they ended up uneven but i really was busy so i left not an hour later another one breaks so im like okayy i call them the guy hangs up on me. Then i call talk to the lady.fast forward toooo today im driving my nail nicks my steering wheel an rips off my nail and my real nail so im now gushing blood on the highway. Do not go hwre theyre rude and unprofessional ii have pictures for proof

This place is horrible do not get your nails done here I got mine done yesterday I got a full set not even the next day one of my nail chipped . Terrible service they try to rush and get finished horrible customer service and over priced for the low wage service they provide if you are looking for a luxury feel do not go to this low classs salon after the lady was finished with my nails they were not done properly so I had to get with the man to get the fixed and he cut me had my finger nail bleeding, also the design was not cute or well put together at all so I made them remove it . This place is not clean or organized they had me sitting in acetone for over 20 minutes .

I went and got SNS nails done. Ive never had them done this poorly before, and Ive had SNS nails done many times. First, when I walked in, the technician was sleeping in one of the pedicure chairs. It took her a minute to wake up and get to me. I needed to have tips put on because my nails are short.As I type this, I can feel a lot glue still stuck to my skin. After tips, she put the minimal amount of SNS powder on me- three coats. Everywhere else I have been does a minimum of four or more coats with tips, and often they go more when you get a lighter color. My nails are kind of patchy because she used so little product.As well, she barely put on any clear coat or nourishing oil- the brushes felt dry when the also touched my skin! As in, she kept brushing my skin with the applicator! On top of all this, she filed my nails super crooked, AND she filed them afterwards, another thing I have never had. happen- everyone files BEFORE putting on the powder.I went back in after leaving to have one of them fixed because it was VERY VERY VERY uneven and she had me stand next to her current client as she filed it and sent me on my way.In my first picture, you can see how uneven my middle finger is, even compared to the uneven ones beside it.In my second picture, you can see how lumpy my thumb is.On top of all this, she was slow and didnt speed up until my friends arrived to pick me up to leave. Horribly dissatisfied with my experience, especially for $45!I doubt Ill return to get my nails done here again. and I would NOT recommend this place to others.

Horrible. asked for simple long white acrylics and got this. all discolored and bumpy, the shape isnt even good. will not return.

I was hesitant on getting my nails done here.. but i got to say I was very satisfied with the service that was provided to me. I have very sensitive nails only because iv been getting them done for a while now, and I didn’t feel a pinch when getting my nails done here. Don’t go to a nail salon if you don’t know what your getting, tell them exactly what you came for and they do their best to come through. They get you in and out. They are also very convinent for being so close to campus, so for all the ladies who need a quick fill or a full set within the hour, this is definitely the place to go.

Its hard to find a good nail place. My lady today was very precise and upfront with everything.. didnt make me feel self conscious and did an amazing job on my full set of nails

My girlfriends sister was in town and I took a leap of faith on this place for them to get their nails done. They were extremely happy with the results and absolutely love their new nails. Of course, Im happy that theyre happy. So, everyone wins! Shout-out to their nail-guy, Tommy, because my girlfriend loved how careful he was! Awesome place!

Tommy was great! I made an appointment and he was prompt! The only weird thing I would say its a very small and tight place so you have to be careful walking. He is friendly and understands everything a person would want!

I visit this salon for the first time on Saturday and I had a great experience. this was actually my 3rd attempt to get my nails done here. the other 2 times they were always too packed... I figured it would be worth the wait if so many people liked this place. I got my nails done by An and she did a great job. She took her time to make sure my nails look perfect and she was so patient with me and what I wanted. I brought a picture I was on pinterest and she did it perfectly. I will definitely will be coming back to see her in 2 weeks for my fill. If you are thinking about coming here either make an appointment ahead of time or come in right when they open, that would be my only advice.

This place is alright. Price is average. You can normally get in pretty quickly and have an okay experience. Some techs are better than others, but they are all average. Not the friendliest, and it’s not the best service. Pedicure was down right disappointing. Manicure was alright. I would go back to this place if I found myself in a tight bind.

The workers are so sweet! One of the workers even gave me a hug before I left and told me “good luck at school” I will definitely be coming back!!

I am from out of town and needed a quick pedicure. Called this place and they took me right in at 11:00 am. The lady has great communication and did a wonderful job on my pedicure. She was very detailed and she cared that i was enjoying my experience. Her work excellent!!! Thankful for the pampering experience!!

Good eyebrow wax was good but getting a pedicure was a disaster. I wanted gel nail with a simple daisy flower design. It took almost two hours and I still walked out with a less than satisfactory design on my toes. When the main lady finally came over to help the quality of the pedicure was so bad that she redid all the color. I wont go here again.

Really kind of frustrated because google says they close at 7, apple maps says they close at 7:30 and Facebook says they close at 8, so here I am at 6:15PM and the salon is closed. I often go here and the service is usually decent but you have to work the hours you say you’re going to work!

I will not be going again. I hadnt tried this place but after reading reviews I thought it was worth a shot. I walked in for a shellac manicure + spa pedicure. The tools were not individually packaged; Im hoping they were at least sterilized. The work areas were also very dirty. The employees were friendly and competitively priced; however, I was not satisfied with the quality of work. My french shellac tips are all uneven. I tried to communicate this to the gentleman that performed my manicure, but he kept saying they were beautiful. I finally got fed up and said whatever. Also, the nail polish on one of my toes chipped less than an hour after leaving the salon. I was not doing anything strenuous between leaving the salon and noticing the chip; I left the salon, went to the grocery store and then went home. I do not remember bumping into anything during my errands, however, that could be the cause. I highly doubt it though - I think the real culprit is too much polish on my toenails.Im pretty easy going and considering I was in the middle of a good book throughout the service, it is partially my fault for not speaking up sooner. However, I enjoy (actually) relaxing during my spa treatments - I dont enjoy keeping a watchful eye on every step in the process.Yes - they were very friendly, accommodating and competitively priced, but the quality of work was not up to par.

Called ahead to see if they had any openings, told them I could come in right then and was told to wait 15 minutes and then to come because they took the last customer at 7:30 even though they close at 8 PM. Didnt ask for name or anything. I arrive at 7:19 and I am told that I can not receive services because they took another customer before me. So basically wasting my gas and time even though I showed up before 7:30 as I was instructed to do so. I understand that they want to go home but its not like I showed up at 7:55 asking for services. I will not waste my time here and for sure will not give them money since they were uninterested in doing my nails.

They do okay work. They apply the acrylic a lot thicker than some would like . The younger guy is nice. But high key they are racist and it’s sad . Last few times I’ve been there they said “mi dang “ which is a Vietnamese term for black girl followed by laughter. Also I notice the welcome for a white girl is much warmer and different from the black girls that enter there salon. You’ve just lost a customer.. sucks to suck.

I love this place. Everyone is so sweet - my nails look great (even if I dont do shellac) for at least a few weeks!Ill be taking my bridal party here in October :-)

By far one of the worst nail salons I have ever been visited, the customer service and work is poor. I got a full set done and they were so thin, the second day 4 of my nails had broken off or chipped.Not only were the nails thin but they were never filed to the same length as all the rest, so they were very uneven. That week I went back in to get my nails fixed and waited for over 40 minutes when there was only one person in the salon and four workers. Finally, after being attended the guy told me he would charge me an additional $5 dollars to file my nails. They did however fix them for free, yet my experience was not a fun or relaxing one.

They do a slightly above average job, but they’re VERY inconsistent with prices. I’ve paid $18 to $35 (today) JUST for a refill. I’m not gonna pay $40 with tip every 2-3 weeks. They also get in a hurry and have made my nails/fingers bleed multiple times. I don’t be going back after today.

Worst nail salon ever!!!! I had such a horrible experience here and their customer service sucks!!! I got a full set done on Saturday and one of my nails broke the very same day. When I go back to get my nail fixed on Monday, the manager tells me Im need to be more careful! My nails shouldnt break the same exact day I get them done! Anyways the man who repaired my nail didnt try to even make the broke nail the same shape or similar... I have coffin nails and this man repaired my nails and left it at a square shape. So once I ask him politely to correct the shape so it can look similar to my other nails he then says Well we are doing it for free after he said that I was livid. I paid $50 to get my nails and toes done on Saturday and had to come back Monday to get my nail repaired!!! I dont care if youre repairing a nail for free or not when I paid yall $50!! I felt like his comment was very rude and the whole staff was very rude & sarcastic! There is a nail shop right down the street that I will be going to from now on!!! I wish I could give them NO STARS INSTEAD OF ONE!!

Do not go here!! The lady that did my acrylic nails not only was incredibly forceful with my hands, she did a terrible job. My acrylics were filed unevenly and the gel polish itself was patchy and just about everywhere. It was incredibly messy and just looked awful. Absolutely NOT worth the money or time.

Absolutely the worst. Got a full set and my nails were super thin. Next day my nail randomly popped off. I went bad and made them fixed it. One day later my thumb nail chipped twice and cracked down the center. I was not happy with the design that I over paid for. Quality was just terrible. Do your self a favor and dont waste your time with this place.

Deluxe Nails is the best nail salon in San Marcos as far as price and quality go. However it is pretty small and they fill up quickly. I am also sometimes disappointed in the selection of polishes. I always call ahead and request Tommy. Im ridiculously picky and he is my favorite.

This salon gave me nail fungus! The manager did not tell me that a new employee was working on my nails until i asked, and even then she RUINED my acrylics. I was in the salon for two and a half hours.Not only to find out that this woman DID NOT clean the materials she used for my nails - i have a nail fungus.DO NOT go to this salon!

I went in for a pedicure and they were nice to try to accommodate me at the end of the day as a walk-in, however I chose not to get any service done upon observing the lack of sanitation standards being practiced. I think this place only stays in business for its location near campus and young people not knowing any better than to just go anywhere that is convenient.

I will not be going back. I went for a pedicure and to get my eyes brows waxed. the man doing my toes made two of my toes bleed because how hard he dug into then. then he didnt even scrub my feet enough to go where they were smoother then before I came. so then I got my eye brows waxed and the woman was rushing cause they were busy. she was being extremely rough when titling my head and then sighed when I told her she missed a few hairs. overall it was a terrible experience. the shop was dirty, had a bee in there, and a fly that kept coming towards all of us getting our pedicures done. I will not be going back.

When arrived, I requested a refill on my overlay and shellac. They sat me immediately and began working on my nails. After they scraped my shellac off I hear oh no.. apparently the person working on my nails wasnt expecting me to have an overlay underneath my shellac. Even though I came in requesting a refill on my OVERLAY AND SHELLAC, I was told that I needed to wait for someone who knew how to do what I wanted, and they apologized for the miscommunication. So I waited. For 50 minutes. People came in and out while I waited, and I as getting pretty angry because no efforts were being made to fix my problems. I was sitting there with my nails looking like a wreck, and I couldnt just leave with my nails looking like that. Finally, when I did get assisted, my nails were done as I had asked. Until it was time for polish. The polish is spotty and uneven, even after 3 coats. This visit was not worth my money, and I am extremely upset with the wait time and results.

I had one of the best expirence here. Tommy did a fanomanal job on my coffin nails, even when there were closing he didnt rush. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this spa to anyone who wants a top of the line job on their nails! I also got a pedicure which it was relaxing and the girls there are super friendly and keep a conversation with you. Best spa/nail salon in San Marcos by far.

Ive came here 2 times at least an hour before they close and each time they did a great job and didnt rush. By far my favorite place to get my nails done they always do it how i want and it comes out great.

Ive been going to this nail salon since I moved to San Marcos 3 years ago. Previously, I would have given the shop 5 stars but since the change in staff, its barely 2 stars. The last FIVE times I have gone, I have gotten in grown toe nails, acrylics that FALL OFF in less than a week, or acrylics that are not filed down enough so they are bumpy. I also was burned from the wax on my eyebrows and had one that was very uneven. Overall, Im completely dissatisfied by this establishment. The only reason Im giving this place 2 stars is because of An and the younger employee there, they are the only ones there who are good at what they do! Unfortunately, every time I go I get some new gentleman or loud woman who both SUCK. I do not recommend this place unless you schedule an appointment with An in advance.

I went to go get acrylic nails and it was busy. They turned me away and asked me to come back like 3 hours later. Fortunately, I live across the street otherwise I would not have went back. I went 3 hours later and got my nails done. I previously had acrylics on so she left me sitting for about 20/30 minutes for my fingers to soak in acetone. The acetone was burning my skin bc she left me sitting there for so long. Then that lady was busy, so she handed to me off to another lady! She did my nails nice. In the end, for acrylics they charged me $40. $5 was for removing my previous set. I was charged $10 over. They were supposed to be $25 bc I heard a lady ask the man doing her nails. The shop was dirty. They were rushed trying to make as much money as possible. When I left they did not say have a nice day or anything. I will not be going back. Plus I read a review...the lady said she got NAIL FUNGUS from this shop!!!!

I got a shellac pedicure there and it was a terrible experience. The guy literally just filled out a plastic cup and put my hands in it and just put nail polish and no hand massage or anything and he did really bad that the second day most of them came off. The place is dirty and so unorganized.the prices are as same as decent places and they dont do anything for you so I do not recommend this place AT ALL. waste of money

Do. Not. Go. Here. I went to get a mani, pedi and had the WORST experience! I was getting my pedicure and the guy scrapped me with the abrasive side of the foot scrubber and tried to pay it off as if me BLEEDING was not a big deal. When I told them I wasnt going to pay for it...they got angry with me and shouted at me in a different language. The lady told me I was over reacting and I should just put Vaseline on my cut that HER EMPLOYEE CAUSED! Dont waste your time and money on a disrespectful business and on employees that abuse their customers.

I have been here on several occasions and i have never had an issue. They once misunderstood what I was looking for but quickly fixed it with no extra charge. They have always been friendly and able to squeeze me in when I just walk in!If you call ahead you may wait 10 or 15 mins, but never more than that. The lavender pedicure is amazing! I get the french tip fake nails on the regular and I am in and out in 30 mins most of the time.If I were to have any kind of complaint it would be about some the spoiled and bitchy people who come in and treat these hard-workers like crap. I understand youre paying for a service and you want it to be perfect, but that doesnt mean you have to be a dick.
