I love coming here. John did an amazing job doing my pedicure. He is so patient and takes his time. He makes sure the water is prefect & also keeps checking to make sure the rocks or towels aren’t too hot for you. Highly recommend him for sure. Everyone else seems nice as well. Will be back soon

I love everything about this place and the environment itself. It’s clean, professional and the staff are very friendly. I requested for white ombré with tips and they gave me Sarah to do the job. She did an amazing job on my nails, I’m impressed and would recommend anyone to ask for her. Plus there’s a 5% off for students so that’s another win! Will be coming back here from now and on.

Did the bare minimum. I paid for the 38 dollar lavender pedi and she barely scrubbed my feet with the stone for like 10 seconds then just painted my toes. I got a pedi here previously and it was okay. But this time really made me not want to come back.

I am usually not the type to leave a review but this time it was well-deserved. As soon as I went in for my appointment, I was greeted and helped immediately. Mr. John did an amazing job with my pedicure. He was so gentle and caring for my feet lol. I also got a full set of coffin acrylic nails. For me personally, it’s been difficult to find a nail salon that will do a good job at shaping my nails. Andy and the owner both made sure I was satisfied with my nail shape. They went beyond of what I expected! I am truly satisfied with the service I was given.

Mini is so fast and so meticulous when applying lashes! She is awesome. I would put her work up against any other lash application business and she would win every time. And using the business’s online appointment application is very fast and easy.

I like this salon the best in San Marcos because they always do such a great job! They get busy fast at random times so you have to be patient or make an appt (over the phone only not online).

Very friendly service, but smells so much like chemicals. I wish I’d had my mask still on. Fast and quality mani/pedi, but the color on dip for nails and gel for toes didn’t match, so then they just slapped gel on top of my dip. It worked out, but definitely felt like a rushed fix.

Honestly don’t know how this place has such high ratings. To start off, it took nearly 2 hours for them to shape the acrylics- and the shape ended up looking awful and uneven. The place is also extremely unsanitary and uses dirty tools that have not been cleaned at all. I was bleeding on 4 different fingers after they finished filing. I had to explain what i wanted 3 times and they still misunderstood me- then got upset with me when they messed it up. The design was literally so simple. It’s been a week and my cuticles look horrible- hang nails and broken skin all around the nails, which never happens when I go to other places. Workers are rude as well. They told me I had to pay with venmo and then read my payment with tip out loud in front of other costumers. While I tipped way better than I should’ve, i still believe that is highly unprofessional. Never will be returning here again.

Large facility, clean, open feeling and also offering a variety of beverages. I like all of the staff. Tools they used are in an individual sealed packet prior to use. I book online and the process has been efficient. I highly recommend.

Clean, relaxing vibes, and professional service. Q is an experienced, friendly tech who cares whether you are satisfied with his work. He shaped them just how I wanted and my dipped nails turned out great! They were not too thick, like some salons leave them. Definitely will come back.

Worst experience Ive ever. They didnt glue my acrylic nails correctly mind you I went and they were separated that same night. Also I waited a whole hour to get my nails done. I got to the point where I just said leave the pink Ombre color from the powder and just add the clear. Also a girl came in 3 minutes late for her appointment and told her that she needs to reschedule or wait. They gave her spot away. Her appointment was at 6:30 and she got there at 6:33. Also got my feet done and they cut my toe and the lady sprayed alcohol on my toes and it burned to bad. Just a horrible experience will not be going back. Staff seemed very unorganized and didnt list any prices which in my opinion is weird.

She is busy but gives great results. I will be back soon. Unfortunately I forgot to ask her what her name is?

This is the usual place that I go to get my nails done, so it was shocking to receive such poor quality nails and service. I went in to get a specific design and every time I tried to explain how I wanted my nails, the guy just got frustrated (I wish I knew his name). He was so rough with my hands, completely rude and for some weird reason he waited until he designed my nails to clip them the length that I didn’t even want...but anyways my nails barely lasted 3 DAYS. They started to peel off and my nail broke off just by carrying a basket of clothes. I paid $80 for some cheap and trashy nails. Literally the WORST nails I’ve ever had.•••UPDATE:I was invited back to the salon by the manager so that I could get my nails redone. This time I just chose something completely different. This set is WAY BETTER. Thank you, I definitely left satisfied.

This was my first time, and last. I had came here with one of my friends a few weeks ago just to go with her. They took forever, and were rude. We came back today, she wanted to give them another chance, but once again was not good. I do not recommend coming here. They charge WAY too much. And they take several hours. I was there for over 2 hours just for dip! And it’s $1 more if you’re using your card. Really? Not really sure how this place gets good reviews at all. When I was getting them done, they filed them down way too much. I do not like them at all. I usually have a place that I go to, and swear by them. Wanted to try something new, but will never come back again. Bad vibes & energy. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The first time we went, it was great. We continued to come, but every time we come back the service gets less and less. Our last time we went there, they were too pushy about cash. We were aware of the credit card extra $1 charge, but we just didnt have cash. After the 4 times of being asked if we had cash, we thought they didnt understand us. This isnt professional at all. I did get a follow-up after writing a bad review. He gave me half of a refund, only to take off the bad review. The manager continued to call me multiple times to take down the review.

I have given this place 3 chances each time it takes over 2 1/2 hours to get acrylic nails. The prices increase every time I go and I have gotten pretty much the same style ever time. The first time I went it was $45, then $50 and this last time it was $60 after tip it was $66 because they add a dollar if you pay with card. The nails themselves are not bad I would say pretty average. I normally go to Hot Nails in San Marcos and love my nails every time l, with great customer service, but they were closed today so I thought I would give Q nails a final try. 66 dollars later I will not be coming back.

Long story We made an appointment for noon for 6 people and they still took way longer than it should have. They put our three teens in pedicures while they put the 3 adults in with nails and then they would switch us. That is absolutely fine if they actually did that. When the girls were done they only took two of them and left one sitting alone for about 45 minutes without a word as to why. I had to remind them twice that she was also getting nails done and they said yeah its just busy. I understand that it was busy but the tech that did my nails had two, not one, but two different people come to him while she was sitting there. When they finally took her it took forever because the tech she was given was doing a pedicure at the exact same time he was doing her nails, literally getting up from touching her hands to scrubbing someone elses feet with no handwashing in between even if they wear gloves with pedis, I didnt notice what he was doing when he was getting up until he was almost done with her, I realized where he was going when I got up to pay and saw him. I asked 3 different people what their rates for waxing is and the first one said it was on the menu. it wasnt. The second one said he would ask, he never came back. The third one said to look it up online, it wasnt listed. So I go ask the cashier and I finally get an answer, when I come out of the wax room Im guessing that its the owner, told me it was more than what they told me but he would give me a discount. they originally told me it was $65, then it was $90 but he would only charge me $70. I understood sometimes mistakes are made and I was okay with it. after all of this, all of it, what made me decide to never come back here is the humiliation that was given to us for free at checkout. There were 6 of us, with three different people paying, my mom, my sister and myself. My mother who was done like three hours before all of us paid as soon as she was done. She even left to JcPenny because we were taking so long and came back. When I payed as soon as I signed the receipt the owner comes up to me and says wait you didnt pay for one. I pull out my phone and do the calculations and said they got everything my daughter and I had gotten done. He points to my mother and says hers wasnt paid for. She says that she did pay, she did I saw her, and owner asks for receipt and she tells him they didnt give her one. So she pulls her phone out and shows him her bank app and the charge. that wasnt good enough for him he wanted to see her card to look through the receipts all while speaking their native tongue and my moms nail tech nodding and pointing to her. He finds the receipt and says okay we are good to go at this point EVERYONE and I mean everyone in the salon was looking at us. I told him I didnt appreciate the fact that he would think that we were lying and he followed us out saying he was sorry and that he just wanted to make sure. I told him I understood it, I just didnt appreciate that everyone in the salon was a part of our conversation. I understand that he wanted to make sure their services were paid for but he shouldve believed us the 5 times we said it even showing proof on her bank app. We collectively spent a little less than $700 that day and to be stopped at the door like a thief was not cool. Its not the first time I come here and have never had a problem before. I give them 2 stars because they did a good job despite the long wait times, the poor wax job and the accusation.

I’m SO happy with my nails! I got a full set of acrylic nails with gel and was in and out in less than a hour and they look PERFECT! Thanks to my amazing technician Bailey💖 will definitely be booking my appointments with her from now on.

I never get my nails done so I had chosen a random place with good reviews. I made an appointment and Q was my tech. Very friendly, kind, and made sure I loved my nails. Prices are more than fair and he has wonderful customer service. Will definitely be my go to from now on.

The man that did my eyebrows rushed and they came out terrible. still had to pay $11 ($1 to use my card...) also way over priced for manicures. Employees are not consistent with their length of nail charges. Also a long wait and will seat others who got there after you. overall do not recommend.

This was my first time going in to get my nails done. I had asked for something specific but there was a miscommunication so I walked out with something I didn’t have in mind but was still satisfied! Andy was great and took his time shaping my nails the way I wanted them and I could tell he really cared about his work. I will be returning customer.

I have been coming to Q Nails for a year and can honestly say it is the best nail salon I have visited in San Marcos. I have very difficult nails and visited many places in San Marcos in search of a salon similar to my old one in League City. I finally found it. Q does an excellent job and is gentle on sensitive nails. The salon is extremely clean and service is great. I have recommended Q Nails to my neighbors and friends who have walked away with the same impression that I had the first time. Now they are repeat customers. I can’t imagine this salon getting anything less than a 5 star rating. Try it, you won’t regret it.

I love Q nails, it’s my go to to get my nails done. I had previously moved from WA and had a nail tech I went too religiously. I thought I would have a hard time finding a tech here in TX that I liked, but Q is amazing, he does my nails better than my last tech did! The salon is always clean, and I’ve had no complaints since I’ve started going here. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for about two years and it’s very inconsistent. The last few times have been especially bad and today will definitely be my last time coming here. I could do a better job myself, so I just got a nail kit off Amazon instead! Very disappointed

I had a terrible experience with them taking off some old acrylic nails and cutting me with an acrylic nail that they ran underneath my natural nail to try and get them off instead of being patient & soaking them!I did not feel comfortable getting a new acrylic set because the nail they tore was so sore & I was STILL charged for the soak off.I also got a $58 pedicure and tipped them $5 so I was hoping they would not charge me for the soak off but they still charged me $84!

On Wednesday 11/18/20, thinking it was a great spot to get nails done, from all the “good reviews” I decided to stop there. I saw they were busy and casual atmosphere but no welcoming, I checked in on the ‘check in’ tablet and nothing. I’ve sat there patiently waiting and as I saw other customers leaving there was plenty of nail techs available but not one checked the “check in” tablet. After 30-45min of waiting the so called “rep” decided to come and ask if I was done, waiting, or ?I told her I’ve been here, checked in, and been waiting. Ughh the falseness of her concern that I was waiting for a long time was distasteful.I, being from business that happen to get busy, I know the rush of customers and decided not to make a big deal, but then when I saw and customer got treated before me is when I had the issue of lack of communication, and lack of the “check in”tablet.I will admit the nail tech was sweet, and did a very good job. I knew she felt my frustrations, as I felt I was giving a tense vibe. I just bit my tongue, cause I knew it wasn’t her fault.All in all, I’m glad other customers got treated better than I did. Just wanted to leave my piece here so people can be aware some businesses have ‘bad days’ to customers.

I’m new to the SM area. I rarely get my nails done. Usually when I go... I leave feeling disappointed & wish I had just done them my self at home.. WELL. Today, I decided to give Q nails & spa a shot. Chack did my pedicure & Nimi did my manicure. I got French white squares tips. I FELT SO RELAXED I ALMOST FELL ASLEEP IN THE MASSAGE CHAIR! They served me wine & water while being there & were very friendly/helpful. Never felt rushed which was nice. Overall had a great experience here. Definitely will come back again!

The manicurist used the wrong dip powder on my nails and when I complained he tried to fix it but it wasnt the color I wanted. I felt very rushed while I was there and wasnt offered anything to drink not even water, although they advertise drinks and other women were given some.

I love Sarah. She is the only person I will allow to work on my nails in San Marcos. I dont like how recently there is a new charge for something every visit. That has gotten annoying.

Lee did my nails and I thought it was going to be terrible because my shapes werent making up then he checked them and fixed it on his own. I never had to say anything and when he was done I was very happy! Q did my design again I was not feeling it lol Im hard to please with my nails but once he was finished I was in love!

Very nice experience. The only thing that didnt quite make for a relaxing experience was having my nails done while also getting a pedicure...its hard to twist to get my left arm onto the right armrest to get the nails I need that hand done. I understand that it was in the name of social distancing so it was okay. The gentleman (Im sorry I didnt get his name) the did my pedicure and the young lady (Christina I believe) that did my manicure were very pleasant and did a good job. Ill most likely be back.

I have now gone twice. 1 time for single color dip 1 time for white tip dip both with my natural nails. Both times I have been incredibly happy with the outcome! My tech both times was Q. He was friendly and professional. Really cared if I was happy with my nails. This will be the only place I go now!

Q did an awesome and flawless job on my nails. I showed him the picture and he said I got this I’ve been doing nails for 13 years, I trusted him completely and I love the turn out. The salon staff was friendly,but Q topped it all with his beautiful art on my nails. We even went 1 hour before closing and he took his time and worked on my nails for 2 hours, no rushing, and he even put a color on and because he didn’t like it took it off and chose the perfect color. I am extremely satisfied with my nails thank to Mr. Q. You’re the best and I’ll be coming back and recommending friends.

Had to ask the girl to re-do 5 nails! She kept filling too much on one side. All i wanted was to get regular square tip. I APOLOGIZED for pointing out what i didnt like and she just looked at me, re did them and asked very rude you happy now? Like..... Wow... I mean if you are paying money you want to get your moneys worth. Then later on i asked about another two nails and she said that my fingers were crooked... I could not believe it.. Did not leave happy at all!

I had a nail guy that I went to for YEARS, I didnt have to tell him the shape of my nails, he took care of my cuticles. However, he got so popular I could not get in with him more times than not. I started to look for another option and found Q.Hes fast and efficient, he also runs the place well and knows how to incorporate other staff so you can get in and out quickly. I almost dont even want to review them and keep them a well kept secret.

I went to this location all because of the recommendation of a friend whose nails I loved. Im so glad I did. The staff did a great job on both the manicure I received and the pedicure my daughter requested. Q (the technician) looked at the picture i showed him and replicated the nails perfectly. Excellent service and a clean salon!

Q and Mimi are the people to go to!! I have always had amazing customer service and my nails look GREAT every time! I personally get the dip powder, which fortunately doesn’t smell of strong chemicals usually associated with nail enhancements. For that matter their shop never smells strongly of chemicals either, so that’s a huge bonus. So far, every set I’ve gotten from them has lasted without lifting and quite surprisingly my nails are never left completely damaged and horrendously thin when it’s time for a re-dip, as I like to call it.All and all, I’ve never been disappointed and I will continue to get my nails done at Q Nails and Spa.

I came here after a bad experience with another salon. Everyone was very kind to my mother in law and I. We both got manicures and pedicures. I definitely recommend the citrus pedicure, so worth the extra $8! I got acrylics done and Mimi took her time shaping my nail and making it. Q took his time with the nail art he did on my nails. He even went so far as to add more beautiful nail art and beads to my nails, making them look so amazing. I went in a little later and even after they closed, they did not rush or try to push me out and I love that. My nails came out so beautiful. Will definitely come again.
