I normally do not do these kinds of reviews for property management companies for places that my family and I have rented from as it kind of a moot point at times, but I have to say that this will be my first.So cornerstone is actually not bad... I will explain more dont worry. We my family and I (brother, sister, mother) have been with them for five plus years now and the service that we have received is pretty good.1) Easy and direct rent payments (via online service)2) Friendly and responsive point of contact between renter and owner. (Due to COVID-19 there have been delays in communication where itll take a day or two to get a response) mainly because of the point of contact working from home.3) when we need something they handle it with professionalism and with expedience.4)They make communicating with the owner of the house super easy.5) The support staff (Shout out to Ron the all around journeyman) is professional, friendly and hilarious. Also when there are any facility related issues they handle it with care and expedience.Overall for my family and I its been a great experience and would recommend going through them if you plan on renting a house, but also keep this in mind that this is my perspective from the interactions that weve had. Others might have had different experiences. So decide for yourself this place is a great one to start with if you are in the market to rent.

Brad and team manage my rental property since the beginning of 2021. Helped with arranging the cleaning to getting a tenant. Took a little longer than expected (about ~2 month) probably due to covid but the process was smooth and no management fee until a tenant moves in. Very responsive and if you have any questions they will take the time to explain it in detail. Its a relief to have someone help manage the day to day work of a rental property.

Great Quality and value. We had to move out of the house and hand it over to Cornerstone property for renting it out. They took care of cleaning the house, making some minor repairs and get it ready for showcasing it to prospective tenants. Within 2 weeks of putting the house for rent, they found a tenant. They have been very transparent of the feedback provided by the tenant and have provided suggestions accordingly.I contacted them because previously I rented an apartment through them and was very impressed with their management.

Brad is a nice property manager to work with. He shows genuine interests in my house when visiting the first time. He pays attention to details and things under the cover and makes honest repair recommendations. He has good resources to cover all the needs in making the house rental ready. The office has worked hard in getting qualify tenants. It took him 1.5 months to rent out the property, which is acceptable in the given condition of the house. It is a good decision for me to hire Brad as the property manager.

Cornerstone has managed my property since 2010. I have found them to be professional, timely, reliable, and a good mediator between owners and tenants as well as between owners and service providers. Cornerstone has responsibilities on both ends of the spectrum, and it appears that it is far more challenging to satisfy tenants than it is to satisfy property owners. If you were to group the reviews into two categories, its pretty obvious that Cornerstone is doing a great job of handling the personality management side of property management and keeping all of this drama from the owner.Thank you Cornerstone! Cornerstone can make managing a rental(s) totally painless. First, they get you the most rent that they can based upon fair-pricing for that neighborhood. Then, they work hard for you behind the scenes, ensuring that the tenant is reliable and maintains your rental in accordance with your contract. They have managed my rental for over 7 years now, and in that time I have never needed to go to the property or interface with the tenants. In fact, sometimes I forget they are there, that is until I see the rent money directly deposited into my bank account. :-)

Cornerstone and our manager Brad have been professional, attentive, and available. The best I have experienced as owner of several properties. I am also an architect, and appreciate the depth of knowledge and care shown by Brad and the other members I have encountered with the firm.

I have been with Cornerstone for two decades. While they are nice people, except for the bookkeeper, they have not always been supportive.I have asked Cornerstone to propose new rent amounts sufficiently before leases are scheduled to expire so as not to have the old rents continue past the expiration of the leases. Because they do not do so, I must constantly remind them.Also, they recently have failed to obtain proper reimbursements from Fidelity Insurance for replacements of fixtures and have not timely sought such reimbursements requiring me to keep track of them.

They take care of the contractors, if needed and make sure the house is doing fine. They make suggestions and provide the kind of service that I expect from a property manager. I am very pleased!

Use this team. I signed up with Brad and team and after the paperwork the only time I am contacted is to approve / discuss repairs above a certain threshold. Otherwise they run everything, I have access to full documentation and direct deposit. Plus their rates are better than other firms. Cannot recommend them enough (and Ive used other PM firms for properties outside CA. Brad and team are the best)

Cornerstone PM is doing a competent job at managing my rental property. They have taken care of all of the paper work and legal matters in getting my tenant, a process that was unknown to me as a first time landlord. On the other hand, I did not find them to be very aggressive at finding a tenant, even in the very hot Silicon Valley rental market. I eventually found my own tenant through a friend of a friend. Cornerstone did take care of getting the place prepared and ready for rent, fixing the dozen or so minor issues. I appreciate that Cornerstone has their go to people for cleaning, painting, repair, maintenance, etc.

Cornerstone has been the source of great peace of mind for me over many years. I was actually thinking of selling my rental property due to the hassle and headache, and then I handed them the management duties. For what I consider to be a modest fee (8%), Cornerstone makes it painless for me to own a rental. They truly do take care of everything, and I can enjoy my retirement without worry or nagging phone calls.

These guys have been managing my property for years and doing a good job. They work hard to keep the rent comparable to other properties which results in more $ in our pocket. Only concerns are 1) a perception that cost of repairs and such may not be competitive (but what is these days?) and 2) a bit slow effort in getting the place rented recently (was not possible to show the place while the other tenant was in the house).

Owners of Beautiful properties, why are you stuck with this agency which is slower than DMV and cumbersome than IRS. Find a better agency, save us some time, house search is stressful. The online application process is cumbersome and incomplete, call center are random to get hold off, if you do they take 2-3 day to respond you through email, no way to pay online for application wait more days for that email. The application processing rules are random, afternoon they say they are processing the application by evening you know you are in queue again. Please……………………………………………………………………………………………………………….. Find a more professional agency which cares about applicant’s time and has integrity.

While living in Arizona pursuing my medical education and career, my mother unexpectedly passed away. I didnt know how to manage the house long term, so an acquaintance recommended that I contact Cornerstone PM for advice.In 2012, I spoke with Brian Bonnifield on the phone for 30 minutes, and he gave advice on how to empty the house out effectively from over 30 years worth of personal belongings. I even warned Brian that the house needed alot of upgrading and basic renovation in order to prepare the house as a rental property. Brian confidently reassured me that the company has close relationships with multiple, trusted vendors who would prepare the house.In 2013, I turned over the house to Cornerstone PM. The entire team, including Brian, Brad, Becky, and Tonya, collaboratively worked to upgrade, market, and upkeep the house. I was able to focus on medical school fulltime without worrying about the property, since Cornerstone PM effectively managed the property.Up until now, there has been minimal maintenance issues and disruptions to the tenants since good quality parts and competent vendors were used in upgrading and maintaining the property. I continue to focus fully on my career in Arizona without any perturbing thoughts.Cornerstone PM has a team with years of experience and competency.
