I have been a tenant for 3 plus years. Great property management Company. When it comes to maintenance they are so fast. Sme day fix every time. Highly recommend . Ask for David he is the CEO and great guy
I found David Krause to be quite professional and helpful in my past dealings with him. He is definitely knowledgeable in most aspects of residential property rentals. If you are looking or thinking of renting your property, he is your go to guy.- Alma S.
Ive been a tenant for a property managed by Norcal for all of 3 days. David has been rude or condescending in every communication that I have had with him. When this was brought to his attention he became even more unprofessional. For a company that states our business strives for great communication with our tenants, owners, and prospects. We would love to hear what you have to say they are sorely missing the mark.I own a property in Seattle and I would be appalled if I knew my rental management company was communicating to my tenants in the way that David communicates with me.
I am really happy with their service. This company has taken the stress off of our family’s hands and has taken control over the property management. They have fair prices and communicate very well with you as to what is going on with the property. They are good mediators between the occupants and homeowner. I would recommend this company to anyone in the future who needs help with property management.
Ive been using NorCal to manage my townhouse for 3 years now. Its located in West San Jose. They do a great job. They got the property rented quick and I have had the same tenant for three years now. Maintenance is low and prices are reasonable. They get the work done fast too so that the tenants stay happy. I definitely recommend David with NorCal to anyone looking to rent their home in Santa Clara County
Although my family and I didnt get the place we wanted, I wanted to write a review about their professional conduct and response. I was very skeptical on dealing with a property management since Ive heard from friends about their nightmare-ish stories on dealing with other property managements.Nevertheless, I reached out and got a reply from Marcus. Right off the bat, he was EXTREMELY professional and friendly. The interaction was clear and to the point. He had sent me a text about the viewing of the condo and letting me know about the process at hand. We went to the viewing a couple of days later and he was exactly like the phone conversation, professional and friendly - things I tend to value the most.We looked at the condo, fell in love with it, but we were beaten to the punch by another applicant. Marcus was kind enough to respond to my inquiries/text messages and let me know that my refund for the application was processed. If Im ever back in the market on looking for a new home, this will be the first place I will look into.
I’ve been working with David and his team for about 6 months and I’m very satisfied with the overall service so far. It was my first time being a landlord, so I decided to turn over my apartment to NorCal Property Management, Inc. after they were recommended to me by my previous real estate agent. I feel like they did a great job getting my apartment rented to great tenants. Recently we had to deal with an out of the ordinary maintenance issue in my apartment but again they came through and worked with me and the tenants to resolve the problem in an efficient and timely manner. Exceptional service, great people, at a fraction of the competition… for me, it is a no-brainer to recommend this PM company!
Doug and Rebecca were truly invaluable in helping us find the right home during our relocation to the area. Their ability to quickly problem solve and think outside of the box demonstrated a unique level of dedication to our specific needs. They were always professional and prompt in responding to our questions. Doug was very thorough and helpful with his explanation of application process. In this case, we were the tenants, given their concern for the well being of the property, I wouldn’t think twice about using their service if I were an owner who needed a property manager in the area.
My family applied and was accepted to rent a home thru Dave and NorCal. After we were approved, he changed the move in date out 3+ weeks. I asked for a couple of days to think about the delay. Two days later he said that he had rented it to someone else for a higher price. He has since refused to refund our application fees and has been rude, condescending and pretty much a jerk. Beware of this business. Something rotten here and stinks of fraud.
Add said pets were accepted, only after I applied did they tell me they were not. Im filing a dispute on my card for fraud as the listing was inaccurate.
After interviewing big Property Management companies, and being discouraged about their high fees, it was a breath of fresh air to meet with David and his Dad Doug; being a small Property Management company, they had a personal approach yet efficient and reasonable fees as well. After choosing them for managing my townhouse, we were impressed how quick my property was rented. It took only 4 days after the townhouse was on the market. It has been a good experience so far with David keeping us up to date if any issues arise and how he deals with it. Since we live out-of-state, it is important to us to be able to count on a comprehensive service. We had an example of this just last month. The neighboring townhouse had a major flood which damaged part of our adjoining walls; David called me the day it was discovered and already had arranged for a restoration company to repair the damaged area; Everything was back in good shape just 10 days later with a minimum impact and disturbance for our tenants. Arrangements were taken by David to cover the expenses of the repair as well. It was such peace of mind for us that every aspect of the repair was dealt with in a reliable and professional way as we are not close by. NorCal Property Management, Inc. is definitely to be recommended especially when property owners live out-of-state.
I recommend David K. from NorCal Property Management. They manage my Sunnyvale home for many years now. Very good serve. You wont be disappoint. Great people!
I was a renter in a property managed by NorCal for the last 2.5 years(just moved out in August) the one thing that I liked was that if something broke in the house we rented they we very prompt and fixed things quickly. even going so far as to make sure I was happy with the fix or replacement. Rent was easy to pay through there online portal and I was sad to move.
David Doug and Rebeca make a great family team. Im so happy to have them manage my home in Campbell, CA. They have been such a pleasure to work with. They got my house rented in two weeks and the tenant always pay on time. If I were you, I would call NorCal Properties for all your property management needs in Santa Clara County.
Love love love these guys! I have worked with them for 8 years now. Nothing but great things to say. They manage my Cupertino condo. I always get paid on time and the property is in great condition still. I love working with Dave and his family. Great People!
I’ve been using NorCal Property Management, Inc. for my townhouse for 6 months.I selected NorCal due to the fact David was a go-getter and a boutique family business. My past property management company had over 25 years of experience, needless to say, they didn’t check on my tenants when requested and in the end, I had to evict and repair damages $$$.David turned a sour situation into a positive by renting my renovated property within 4 days and provided a 4-month internal inspection with pictures and reports. He’s timely with replies and his rates are very reasonable.
I am a property owner who signed up with NorCal Property Management, Inc.. They were responsible for finding a tenant and for ultimately managing the property. The agents with Norcal are highly competent and aggressive with top sales and negotiation skills. They are also totally accessible and responsive, and they go the extra mile to make sure I am happy. Norcal got us a great lease contract in place in under 2 weeks.Don’t waste your time with the huge property management companies like we originally did. We had our property listed with them for over a month at a below market price, but despite tremendous prospective tenant initial interest, it still sat without a tenant due to mismanagement and poor business skills.I have very high standards and little patience for mediocrity. NorCal Property Management, Inc. epitomizes excellence and solid business practices. I’ve told all my friends about this phenomenal company. Highly recommended A++++++++
It is the first time being rented out my Property. David is chosen to manage my property because he has a good team to work with him and the rate is reasonable.I feel very comfortable to talk with David at the first encounter and get what I need to know about. His team has done their promise.I am pleased.
Reviewing as a tenant. I’ve dealt mostly with Doug, the Property Director, but have also had conversations with David and Rebecca. All very attentive, detail oriented, and on the ball. Let’s start from the beginning:When inquiring to lease the house I’m currently renting, Doug made sure to ask all the right qualifying questions so neither of us wasted our time. That was a great first impression which lead to us meet up later that day to tour the house and prepare for the application phase. There was someone who just beat me to the application process, but Doug put my roommates and I on his waitlist for next in line if the applicant dropped out. That following morning I get a call at 7pm, the person dropped out, at 7:30am Rebecca drove to meet me and get the application fees to begin the process. Let me repeat, she drove to help me secure my future home… What service!!Doug completed our application screening and approval within only a few hours. Later that day I received a call from David informing of approval. We met with Doug 72 hours later, signed the lease, gave our initial move-in amount, and we were done (ie. this guy takes care of business). Even after the lease signing, Doug kept in contact with me to keep me updated on any property improvements and hyped to take possession.Fast forward to now, after living here for a while, we could not be happier! We had the main drain line back up on Memorial Day, so I called Doug to inform of the situation. A friendly plumber was out to fix the problem within an hour.. on Memorial Day!! What customer service and maintenance.I’m pretty certain that Nor Call Property Management is a family run business, which makes it all the better. You know they’re going to communicate and make things happen for both tenants and owners. Easily the best service I’ve experienced with residential property management. If you’re an owner, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone better to take care of your investment. As a tenant, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone better to take care of you.Hope my awesome experience helps you make a decision.
The person Called David behaved incredibly unprofessional and rude when we were trying to rent a house of almost $8000 per month. Wish we could let the owner/landlord know how poorly this agent is making the owner lose a potential tenant. Been renting houses all over the world but this company has the prize of 1st place as most incompetent and unprofessional by far! If you are looking for a house to buy rent or sell avoid these guys because they will only waste your time and money.
I love to work with David and his staff. They recently found new tenant in very short time.I would highly recommend him to anyone who need property management is San Jose and Santa Clara County!
From beginning to end, dealing with this company is a breeze. Their online portal is very easy to use and David is quite enjoyable to work with.
This company, particularly David Krause is completely incompetent. They are incommunicative, do not follow through, and make everything a hassle for the tenant. I would NEVER recommend using them.
I leased a condo in Santa Clara for the past 2 years through NorCal. I worked with doug and david throughout the entire time. The online payment portal works perfectly and I appreciated that it was simple to pay digitally. They also take maintenance requests through the portal and respond to issues in a timely manner.Doug did a good job fixing up things around the house and was usually amicable about it.My only negative would be the contractors they hired typically were awful at speaking the english language and hard to communicate with but I will let it slide for this review :)Overall I would recommend. Our property stayed in good shape, it was easy to pay rent, and they stayed out of our way for 2 years. Thanks guys.
Wow. I cant believe these con artists have a positive review anywhere on the internet. Stay away at all costs. The Krause family extorted us using an absurd list of cleaning requirements that they assured us only their family-owned company would be able to fulfill (for an insane price.) I was told, repeatedly, that working through independent contractors would cause me even more financial strain, a direct threat from Rebeca Krause as well as David Krause.DO NOT do business NorCal or Diamond Glaze Construction, which by the way is not a cleaning company. If youre still reading, remember, if your rental company asks for a positive review before completion of services, do not provide it. Norcal specifically likes to do this.David, I look forward to your typo-ridden attempt to explain this review away.
Stay away from David. He is very unprofessional over the phone and emails.Just so I dont have to retype my largest complaints, here is my email directly to the owner of the house after so many unresponsive emails from David.Hi ****,I hate to bother you with this matter but the property manager of the apartment, David Krause, has left us no choice. We have recently moved out and was fined for numerous things that we did not agree with and have tried to talk to him about it but he has been very unprofessional and rude. This has been from day one when he took over the apartment, by the way, but we did not want to bother you. Here are the points where we are in disagreement :-charged $215 dollars for light bulbs, tightening screws of loose electrical sockets and a desk. We provided our own expensive halogen light bulbs so we took them with us when we left and did not replace two of them in the kitchen. There is nothing in the contract that states anything about light bulbs. And I hope you agree that $215 is a bit much for the other services.-two months of late fee for rent that he took out from our deposit without letting us know. We have lived there for 2.5 years and never once been late and have no reason to be. The reason we were late was due to them deleting our Tenant account on their payment portal so our auto payment did not go through the first month. We paid as soon as he called to let us know (and he was very rude on the phone demanding us for money). I set up the auto payment again for the second month but it went through two days late due to an error in the system. Again, he called us very angry and we explained that we had set up an auto pay already. When he checked, he simply said okay and with no apology or further discussion. At that point we were not told we were going to be charged a late fee and in our minds the error was on his end. I am most frustrated with the fact that he did not tell us and then takes the mo eyes out of our deposit two months later.-did not prorated our rent as discussed. We had sent a letter on October 29, for intent to vacate on Saturday, November 29. We were charged the full rent amount for November and I had emailed him to prorated our rent for the 3 days. He said he would adjust it in our deposit when we move out. The week before moving out, we asked him how we should handle returning keys and he told us to drop it off at the office on Monday. We were all moved out by Saturday and dropped the keys off on Monday. When we did not receive the prorated amount he said the lease ends when we returned the keys!We have plenty more complaints of Davids unprofessionalism and happy to share if you would like. We have been good tenants for 2.5 years with no complaints on our end or yours. We had lived through 8 months of heavy construction at the apartment where we did not have our parking spot and our porch. Again, we did not complain. We also originally took our time looking for an apartment that was privately managed because we heard horror stories about rental companies and were very sad to hear of ***** passing, he was such a sweet man and a large reason why we chose his apartment.I have proof of all the emails between David and myself and roommates and can also send those. I hope you can take this into consideration and provide us with a refund. I also hope you now know what a kind of company you have hired for your services.Thank you for your time and hope to hear from you soon,******I hate to use this term because I would stoop to Davids unprofessional level but the term that best describes David is DOUCHEBAG.Oh, he called us numerous times after we moved out because he didnt know what parking spot the new tenants had! Way to be on top of everything, David.
Do not work with these people as noted they are not ethical. They WILL always screw over the tenants with illegal charges. I had to get my deposit back in small claims court and the judge was appalled by their behavior
