This is a nice place and a neighborhood gem. The staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable. The food is good. There was live music in the bar the night we were there.Unfortunately, the service was a little slow on our visit. Also, I found their food and drink a little lacking. This place seems to target an older crowd. Still, I am willing to return and try it again.

I really dont want to say why I liked this place because I want to keep it all for myself. But I want to support them, so...Amazing prime rib and all the staff were great. There are a few tables available for outdoor seating so you can enjoy the music (lots of 80s retro) from the lounge side and enjoy the outdoors.Three flames is definitely going to be one of my regulars.

They now have indoor dining. The waiters are incredibly nice and funny! Very helpful and attentive. Clam chowder is yummy. Prime rib was tasty...dessert was awesome. Chocolate cake has mousse in it! Spumoni was incredible.

Possibly the best steak Ive ever had. For sure a top 3. Service is excellent and despite coming during peak time on a Friday there was no wait. I ordered the New York Pepper Steak. Portions seem generous. Left incredibly satisfied.

Went for lunch on a Monday. Food was really good, great portions, exceptional decor. Excellent Service. Surprisingly good prices, I would expect to pay more for the area.Complimentary bread and butter.Meals came with soup or salad, vegetables and an additional side dish.Restaurant also had a full bar.Highly recommend.

This is no doubt one of the finest place to eat in the region. Anytime I go there I am deeply pleased. They always keep their very high level service and the highest level of food they offer. You will be always satisfied with this place. Warmly recommended.

Took my wife here for her birthday day dinner. Everything was amazing. Service was immaculate. Not only was my porter house steak bigger then my head it was perfectly cooked the way i asked. Inside is very calm and collective and pricing per quality wonderful. This is a place you take someone you really love. Will be returning for our anniversary.

It is a restaurant with American cuisine at reasonable prices frequented by mature adults. The nice bar is popular with people over 50 on a date or looking for one. A DJ provides music to dance on the small dance floor and on some nights of the week for karaoke. Parking is easy. Overall a decent place to take a date in Silicon Valley.

Good menu choice but they charge $20 for Doordash fee and want to charge extra for drawn butter for the lobster!!?? Serious a $80 order is $100 and your gonna nickel and dime me over drawn butter? Last time we door dash from you!

My group has used this restaurant for luncheon banquets for many years. Meal choices run from basic to really elegant. Based on value, we have consistently chosen a menu of steak, salmon, and chicken breast. Three Flames has always provided those to us at above average quality and still at a bargain price. Our members have always appreciated the meal and service we have received.

Nice restaurant, service was good, but the food was very expensive. Id expect organic ingredients, or something other than steak, season and pasta for $20+ per item.The pre meal bread served is cold. I expected a fresh hot loaf here.There is also only 1 vegetarian appetizer and 1 vegetarian pasta. I wonder if theyd lower the price of I asked for something without meat. $19 for a basic Cesar salad is steep.

Had our wedding rehearsal dinner here, and the service was great. We had a private banquet room with a separate entrance which made it special. Great food and side window with direct access to a bartender made for a fun evening.

I got the Caesar salad to go. It was very delicious. My container felt light, I thought Id get more romaine, chicken was juicy and dressing was great. Needed a few more croutons.

One of my favorite spots, they just brought in country night for Thursday. The cook David is my favorite, funny guy if you get the chance to speak with him. Staff is friendly and helpful. Again, food is worth the price. If Youre headed for the lounge(8pm) get there early. Place fills fast.

Came for New Years Eve. Scallion was very good. Blue cheese dressing tasted perfectly mixed and fresh. I could live on the bread.The DJ music and dancing was enjoyed by all. Very friendly.

Went here for thanksgiving dinner. Price seemed high (for got it is a steak house) food was ok. Server was prompt. Been nice if they had 2 options for vegies. Place was clean. Bar area seemed like it was a after thought for people to sit in. Bath room dose need some maintenance.

A nice restaurant for a mature clientele. Solid Americana food with good portions. On Saturdays its filled with regulars who dine in the restaurant then go dancing in the small Club. Average age is over 70 but this is fun for all who participate.

My boyfriend and I went to Stefano with a group on for brunch. He ordered the Three Flames and I ordered the French Toast with berry compote and a canola-cream topping. The food was excellent. The only negative thing I could say is that there was very little steak with the steak and eggs but the group on deal made the meal worth it overall.

3 flames did a great job for my familys event. The staff were on top of it with clearing plates and bringing out more food. Good sized banquet space.

Other than a very few minor issues, service was very good. Food was excellent with many options. We had the New York and Gilroy steaks (rare) and the salmon.

A nice contemporary eatery with comfortable atmosphere. The staff are wonderful, food is good and delicious with a California style. There is dancing to DJ after dinner on Friday n Saturday nights after 9pm.

This place caters to the older well heeled Willow Glen set. Very tasty food, nice staff. Large portions. No kids menu, but they were accommodating.

Even though the waitress totally screwed up my order, what I got was quite good so I didnt send it back. Otherwise the staff was friendly the Ambiance was good and my group had a good time. So the vibe was good also. It just seemed to me to be a bit formal, and the food I thought was overpriced. But it is San Jose. We popped our heads into the bar and it seemed to be a major Watering Hole 4 well-to-do middle age and Beyond or people who are trying to look like that. There was hardly anybody in the dining room when we had dinner but the bar was jammed. It was Sunday night.

Escargot was nod. No flavor or butter. Service was poor as waitress served stations far from each other. Food was good great prices.

The food is always great and the wait staff is fantastic. The crew on charge of keeping the place clean go above and beyond. The cooks all know how to make the menu as delicious as possible.

I dont recommend this restaurant unless you were born in the 30s or 40s. I ordered the seafood pastait had a flavor of herbs that sat for a few days possibly the last serving the dish was cold the pasta was undercook the shrimp were not cleaned properly visually I want to vomit just thinking that I had a bite of the pasta and 2 shrimps I did not attempt to taste the calamari. 2 vegetarian pastas were sent back it tasted bad and noodles were hard It did not look appealing wish I had taken pictures. the service was awfully slow. Only one person at our table of 11 enjoyed their sandwich. they dont have vegetarian options. it was extremely noisy lots of people no room to walk.The bread and butter was good..If you want Italian try Pizza Jacks a hole in the wall delicious.

The value pricing seems to attract a majority retiree clientele. My wifes scallops were tough and gritty. My ribeye was what youd expect from a choice cut. The roasted garlic cloves were actually burned and so had an acrid rather than nutty after taste. The low prices will likely continue to be a draw for folks not trying for gourmet.

I was here for a banquet party. The food was very good, even the salad was excellent and this was all served buffett style. Usually you can expect to lose some quality during a buffett dinner but not in this case.I would very much like to try this place out for dinner and see how good the food is when made specifically for me.

I am only able to review the lounge and its Sunday karaoke night, which is friendly and full of very talented people. It has a big crowd of regulars, who know and love each other quite a bit.

Excellent food, My steak was cooked perfectly, seasoned nice. My wifes Seafood pasta was more seafood than pasta.

My wife and I have been here 3 times since May. The first 2 times, everything was awesome. Unfortunately, the last time the waitress was a little snotty, the portions were noticeable smaller and the quality of the food had diminished. I had a piece of broccoli with a stalk on it so big, I was not sure whether I should climb it or eat it.
