My friend and I came here for some pre-dinner drinks and small bites. This dazzling wine cellar right off of Market Street is a perfect spot for group events, parties, corporate events and some reconnecting and relaxing. A well-appointed blend of modern sophistication, stylish design and chic comfort, complete with a soothing interior design made from rare woods, modern accent lighting and comfy upholstered seating. Gather under one of several low-lit lounge areas and sample some delicious wines and signature small bites while being attended to by one of the crisply-clad servers on the floor.

Great variety of American Bistro food. Both entrees we ordered were delicious and good portion size. The crab stuffed salmon was delightful. We also got the baby spinach salad.

We were lucky to get a table as this place had three private parties going on. We managed to eat in the outdoor tent area which was cooler than inside but still ok. We each ordered appetizer size food and was a perfect amount for the not so hungry. Prawns were cooked perfectly and paired well with the mixed greens. Our waitress, Nicole, wasn’t so great. She poured a taste of wine and left the table with our bottle for all of us to pour ourselves. She was not attentive and seemed very quick to try and run away from us. We will be back for the food and hope we don’t sit in her section.

We have been long time customers of the Loft and we keep coming back because it never disappoints us. Great food great service are always on tap. The wedge salad is one of my favorites as well as the steak bites and the calamari. Rarely do we get dessert since I’m always too full, but this time we split a creme brûlée and it was amazing. Sorry didn’t think to take photo before. Haha!

There was no wait on a Saturday at 6 pm. The staff was friendly and attentive. Quality of the food wasnt outstanding, but the service more than made up for it. Its a great place to get friends together and share small plates. They turn the restaurant into more of a nightclub after 10:30.

Came here for friends birthday party. Great venue upstairs for events. Food tastes so good, and service staff are very fast and friendly. LOVE the bar. If they can write off the parking fees, itll be ideal. Definitely consider my next event held here.

They mark up their prices for holiday events! I checked the menu of this location before coming on Valentines day and made a reservation. However, when I saw the menu, I was upset. Items were marked up $7-10 extra. I originally thought the valentines day menu was cute for the holiday, but i realized the special menu was for special prices.

What cool place to enjoy your meal. Validated parking, online reservations, friendly greeting at the door, what more can you ask for? Ask for great food ofcourse. I was fortunate to have Jason wait on our table and besides having great service, he delivered great food. He suggested the lamb shank and the short ribs; they were wonderful. The only problem.....they ran out of the creme brulee, it must have been too good to keep enough on hand (@ 7pm). I dont blame him. I recommend this restaurant.

After reading the Yelp reviews, I was hesitant about going here. We had gift certificates and decided to go ahead and give it a try. Im so glad we did. The food was tasty and our waitress was totally on the ball. We were there on a Fri., around 6:00 pm. Place filled up quickly so others obviously like the food and service here as well. Would definitely come back again!

I wasnt sure how to rate this to be honest. It has its pros and cons. Like anything else really. I hate that the top floor is so crowded you cant really dance, but I love that its free. Who doesnt love free, right? There is nothing classy or nice about it. Its just your typical dance floor and bar. Music is good.

Last night I had a very upsetting experience at this bar . I have came her several times both for booked parties or just for drinks . For the most part the experiences have been okay but last night my boyfriend who has a neck tattoo of a rose was refused entry . It was his birthday and he thought hed be able to come inside a bar that he himself has came several times before with no problem . Instead of being let in he was accused of being gang affiliated. (A damn rose) So a warning for all humans with an innocent or non innocent neck tattoo this place discriminates on neck tattoos and you will not be let in because of it . I was so upset last night I will not be returning and will be contacting a lot of family and friends who frequently book parties here .

This place is awesome. Period. Its chill with good food and drinks during the week then insane on Friday and Saturday nights. Full bar and restaurant menu. A downtown favorite for sure!

The drinks are about $15 and the bathroom was a disaster. There are only two stalls in the womens bathroom. By 11 one toilet was not flushing and neither stall had toilet paper. Its understandable that the toilet could stop working, but there has to be toilet paper stocked well enough for the night!

Average food, very cramped space. The limited space made the social aspect of our social event very difficult. The lack of space combined with a high speed staff trying their best to get the job done means someday somebody will get knocked down, I had a few near collisions with staff that charged through the crowd and I wasnt drinking like some people were.

Robert and Adrian, the managers were awesome. The kitchen crew was fantastic. Try the small plates and share. The tuna tacos are the best I have ever had.

This visit was unforgettable as I had dinner with three of my professors, the acting head of the Urban and Regional Planning department at San Jose State, and a candidate to replace the current head. The fish and chips I ordered tasted excellent, the wait staff was fast and looked after our needs, and I had a wonderful time chatting with my cohorts in the program I am actively involved in graduate school.

Terrible Service! Inexplicably Long Wait times!When we walked in they told us the kitchen was backed up and that we would have to wait 10 minutes longer than usual. That 10 minutes was a wild underestimate, since we left 1.5 hours after arriving without seeing our entree.After waiting 10 minutes just to see a waitress and get our order in, we had to wait half an hour to get soup, and another 20 minutes to be offered bread. By this point we noticed that other people who had arrived and ordered after we did started getting their food. 20 minutes later we still didnt have our food. People at other tables were complaining to the wait staff about the wait times. After a final 10 minutes we payed for the soup and went to InnOut.If they had told us that they were going to be unreasonably slow, we would have happily come back another day. Now were missing an hour of our lives and hate the place. Their loss I suppose.

Its a good place. Nice atmosphere. We went in on a Saturday night and it was very empty. That worried me initially, but thankfully a handful more guests came in. The stairs that go up to the second floor where the bar is are a killer going back down, if youve had a few drinks. I had the Fettuccine Santa Maria. It was good, but nothing to write home about. It had chicken, prawns, dried tomatoes, spinach, and artichokes. One thing particularly that I did like about the dish was that the sauce wasnt super buttery (my stomach is sensitive to butter). My date had the Lamb Shank. It came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. He seemed to like it and it was fall off the bone kind of meat. He did say his Moscow Mule tasted mostly like sprite with very little alcohol. My lychee martini tasted great, though the lemon peel that went into the glass was bruised and old looking. Overall, sure, Id come back.

Arrived at five, it wasnt busy. The bill was decent for the quality. Makes me feel like I am back in Sacramento.

Its difficult to describe my experience as anything more than mediocre. The food was cooked well past what was specified, the fries were similar to what you would find at McDonalds, service was slow/error-prone, and prices were well beyond the quality of what was received.

Avoid the seared ahi entree. Seasoning was extremely bland and vegetables tasted like they were ready to be tossed. Everything about the dish was depressing. A memorial could be erected to remember the tragedy of what this tuna steak could have been. Wifes dish was alright and service was good though hence the three stars.

What a joke. They asked for my hat at the door which I’m entirely okay with but when I left I was told there was a table outside in the sidewalk with all the hats. It was empty. When confronted all they had to say was we told you hats aren’t insured. Absurd. Try not creating and situation where people aren’t encouraged leaving the bar to take hats.... never again.

Its american food. I think they cook well. Today I had the steak salad and they cooked the steak correctly! There are stairs going upstairs and the dining area is a bit strangely laid out because of that.

The interior is nicely appointed, with classy wood trim and well-spaced tables. But the selling point (its in the name) is the loft - and the loft was a mediocre experience. The rooftop patio is indeed on the rooftop, but there are high walls that block nearly all view from your table - its no different, in terms of experience from sitting on the ground.Food was also mediocre. I had the lamb shanks, which were a bit low in quality, with a fruity sauce lacking in complexity. My wife had the blackened chicken, which was dry. Quality definitely not up to the price.

Fun location for our corporate event

Very nice. Not very busy went I went and was afraid food might not be great, but ordered the Oso Bucco and it was tender and delicious. Came with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies for $20. Pretty reasonable, Right? Its almost right next to the Improv, so if youre going to a show, its really convenient too.

The service is okay, but the security guards need to be more professional. My encounter with 3 of the guards outside threw off my whole mood and vibe for the night. And when I spoke to the owner/manager his rude bevahior and impotent lack of respect and customer service was what led me to take my business elsewhere. I work in corporate security and im also a supervisor that overlooks the operations of at a minimum of 30 officers, there is no need to be hostile with someone that carries a flashlight around with them, a simple and professional discussion would have been more appropriate but their staff definitely is far from professional.

This is your average small restaurant with all of the basics youd expect at a bistro. Nothing stood out as amazing, yet nothing was horrible. The service was very friendly and helpful, which produced an inviting atmosphere that I enjoyed. I had the flank steak salad as my main and the shrimp skewer appetizer. The shrimp itself was good, but it was covered in a butter glaze that was overkill and felt like a chain restaurant menu item. The flank steak wasnt consistently cooked, leaving some pieces rarer than Id consider eating, while others were medium and delicious. The lettuce was iceberg which seemed around the quality of pre-cut-before-delivery lettuce. Overall - 3 stars - not amazing food, but very kind service.

Great place for lunch. Favorite dish is Southwestern Salad, but everything I have tried is fresh and delicious.

Nice bar with great drink selections. Cool little patio to hang out on upstairs (when the disgusting people are not smoking up there). If anything, that would be my only complain about this location and the town in general: to many disgusting smokers, poluting the air.

Had a Pretty mediocre pasta with lamb and a pretty good whiskey drink. Enormous portions wont leave you hungry. Good for groups because the menu is stocked with crowd pleasers like sliders and calamari.

Leaving so far away now its going to take a little longer to be there but the place is great especially on Thursdays night.
