Initially I called Global Heating for an issue with my old old furnace and a young gentleman came out, Joey. He was very professional and very knowledgeable for his age. He came in and assessed the noise from our furnace fan motor. He was very clear with issues he inspected and fixed the fan motor mount that was loose. No Charge.2 weeks later the fan was at it again. I decided to call them again and upon Joeys arrival he mentioned the bearings were bad. So, instead of fixing it we decided to inquire about replacing the entire central air system, furnace and ac unit as they were installed in the early nineties. Joey gave us a quote and we committed with a deposit. Now i am dont know much about HVAC systems and had only done some research but I had questions about what we were getting in our quote. Long story short, Sal and Giovanni both listened to my concerns and questions and in fact worked with me since I had obtained another quote. After agreeing on the particulars, we agreed to move forward with the new quote. They were very accommodating. They said it would take roughly a month to get the units. About 2 weeks later, Gio contacted me and gave me an update and actually upgraded our system due to delivery issues. a week later he said we were ready to go and set up a date the following week.Installation day was great. The crew showed up. They were professional and did a great job. Gio came in the morning to check on the crew. Later in the day both Gio and Sal showed up and I appreciated the fact that they came to assure that the system was installed and operating. Success!In summary, I try to support local vendors and especially the ones you can trust. Trust and professionalism is what I found from Global Heating and I highly recommend their services for your HAVC needs!Thank you to Jeremy, Fabian, Abraham, Richard(installation crew) and Sal and Gio for really making us 1st and priority! I’ve never wrote bad review but their service went from good and reasonably priced todishonest and overpriced . Don’t even try toprove them that you’re right - they’ll lie in your face.Just hire another company. There are plenty of them

We r remodeling our house and wanted to add an AC unit - John came to explain us the options and installation was set for few days later (which is great as it is too hot for me here)the guys working with John are also great guys who are very knowledgeable and friendly :)we upgraded our furnace, added the AC unit, and replaced the ducting as it was super oldeverything was done fast and very professional, service was friendly, and all systems working greatthey even replaced some other old stuff that they saw in our utility areagreat service, great people, will defiantly use them again

Called to get an estimate on a broken AC unit during a heat wave, and got a replacement unit on the same day. Great service, very pleased.

Was having issues with a 20+ year old furnace / cooling system in our home. John came out and looked at, and we discussed a new system. He recommended a Carrier system, and through my own research, we concluded on a good system that was larger than our old one (5 ton vs. 4 ton) since we were having some issues with cooling the house properly. They apologized about a week wait to get it installed due to the current demand they had, but that was no problem for me. The arrived on time and the guys were as courteous as could be. It took a bit longer to get the system in than was first thought, largely because it was a 100 degree day and it was very hot in the attic where the furnace is located, and they had to take breaks from time to time. They adjusted the dampers to better control airflow and since then the system works great. We can keep the house cool at 78 degree setting which was impossible with the old system. We had one minor problem after installation, and John had one of his team out right away (and again on time) and had things resolved within an hour. Highly recommend these guys.

Where do I startThis summer has been hard on all of us with these fires, covid, and unbearable heat. I called Global Heating and Cooling Services today because my heater was not working. A very nice gentleman came on the phone and said I could for sure get an appointment tomorrow, but would try to come out today. They did come out the same day, figured out the problem, went and got the needed part, and fixed it! Another company I called last week said they couldnt come out for three weeks. I will use this company in the future for any AC/Heater needs.

They did a great job moving and fixing our air conditioning. They were courteous and professional. They worked quickly. They explained what they did and what we should do going forward to maintain the unit. I will be using them again for all of our A/C needs.

My AC unit and Furnace all the sudden stopped working and I called Cost Less Heating & Air and as before, they were able to send a technician the next day. John showed up on time and wearing a mask and gloves. He was very thorough checking all systems and by a system of elimination figured out the problem. He was able to fix the issue and now both units are working as before. He was also able to point out some discrepancies with the original wiring of the system that he was able to quickly adjust to prevent further problems. Their prices are fair and if I were to need further assistance in the future, I will call them gain.

I can not recommend John and Global Heating enough. On the hottest day of the year, our AC unit broke. John came out the morning I called him and diagnosed the issue. Unfortunately it was bad, and didn’t make sense to repair. John found a new unit and installed it the same day I called in 100 degree heat. He is kind, knowledgeable and quick. I will call him for anything HVAC related.

So I glad I plunked down $10k on a brand new state-of-the-art HVAC system - NOT! My AC broke down and they promptly came over and rather than simply saying its broken, buy a new system they dug deep, and identified several issues with the motherboard & servo motors on my almost 20-year-old system.Amazingly, they were able to order the specific replacement parts within about a week, and get it installed within the next couple days! The communication was great; they notified me with all updates and progress. I probably SAVED around $9k thanks to these guys. My 20-year-old system is working without a hitch in the hot summer months :-)As a bonus, they identified a few places outside the house and in the attic where rats had chewed through some wires & had caused a short-circuit. (They also recommended me a great pest control company which I used!)

The technician had no idea what and how to address the problem. Gave me incorrect information and recommended to spend $2600 for the completely new zone controlled heating system rather than replace potentialy faulty motorized zone damper. Total waist of time and money.

Picked 3 contractors to provide me with bids to replace my old attic ducts. Giovanni came out and we discussed the work. Since they were originally installed when the house was built, and the ducts contained asbestos, I first had to get an abatement company to come out and remove them. I got bids from other companies to do this. Once that was done, Giovannis crew came out and replaced the ducts. They arrived on time and were friendly guys. My dog liked them right away so that was a good sign. Before they started the install, they asked about how we used the different rooms so they could run the new ducts in the most efficient way. Once the work was done, they said to see how it works, and they could come back in a week or so if needed to make any adjustments in the dampers to balance out the rooms to our liking. All in all a pleasant and stress-free experience. I would use them again.

This is a few weeks late but I am still thrilled with the service they provided. Our old HVAC unit decided to quit the last month of summer. John & company were able to come out look at the system & confirm the system is a goner. Good news the NEXT day (not a week or two, the NEXT day) we had a whole new HVAC system installed & running. We have now enjoyed the last month of summer & know that we will not have any issues this winter with heating! Thank you again!!

Called global to have my air duct cleaned. Joey came and wore shoe covers before entering. He sealed all my vents while the machine was running and cleaned the registers. After the job was done. We found lots of cat hair from the previous owners. Now we have clean air duct. Thank you global. Will recommend you to all my family and friends.

As a traveller, it is hard to get a heater service provider at right time, i was freezing because my heater was stuck and i found service provider, they did amazing job, very faster services . We have 30 years old furnace blower not working. Found Global Heating & Cooling on yelp and explained to John our model with problem and the other techs diagnosis. He gave us quote on replacing the blower motor only. John started and completed the work on time and with great quality (He is a patience guy. Our old motor took him 30 mins to remove and he didnt complain and give up). We are undergoing some house construction and our furnace generated an error last night and would not light. Called our regular HVAC guys and they could not help us until after the weekend. I called Giovanni at Global randomly seeking someone who could help and he diagnosed the issue on the phone and gave me some steps to try to resolve the issue. It was simple fix, but he was the only person I called who was willing to help on the phone. Immediately identified the furnace error code and helped me resolve the issue on my own. I cannot say enough about how helpful he was and accommodating given my questions.

Furnace stopped blowing hot air at Christmas, so the day after I called a bunch of places, out of the two places I talked to, they were able to schedule somebody for that day. Due to something outside of their control, they couldnt make it that day. They came out first thing the next morning and their tech diagnosed the issue immediately. He went and got the part from their warehouse and had it fixed basically in about 2 hours from when he first came to our house. They also gave us a discount because of the previous day issue.Fantastic service and will definitely call them in the future for any issues.

We had a great experience with Global Heating and Cooling. Due to an electrical problem, our heater ended up having a complex issue. Giovanni came out several times (as different problems popped up) and was very helpful in correcting the issue. Hes very easy to work with and were happy with the results.

I woke up to very cold house, my heating system fan was running but no heat was pumping through the house. I called for help and I was promptly assigned an appointment and my technician John arrived as scheduled.He was polite and friendly, checked the entire system and quickly found the problem. He showed me what went wrong and how he fixed it.There might have been other things that would have prompted a higher rate but the company did not charge any extra hours or labor.I was extremely happy with the results and I have scheduled a maintenance of the entire system as well as duct cleaning. I highly recommend this company for any troubles with your heating and cooling systems, they are very professional and knowledgeable.

Global Heating and Cooling did our entire HVAC in Santa Clara in May. We replaced air conditioner, heater, and duct work. For the work, it was top notch. The installation time was less than original prediction by a day. John also tuned such that all our room is very comfortable everywhere. He took his time to explain new benefit and checked to make sure everything works as expected. Best of all, when he realized the model of AC he quote us wa not in production, he upgraded our AC to next tier at his own cost without increasing the original quote. That is very professional.We had air pressure test recently. It passed without hiccup. This shows quality of their work. I hired them to inspect the HVAC systems for my house that has 2 zones so I have 2 A/C units on 2 furnaces (1 for each zone)…I found John on Google and did more research on yelp before I called...They responded promptly to all my questions and so I scheduled them to come out…I now agree with the reviews I read…Hes very honest, works hard and charges a very fair price…I had a problem with one of my two 25 year old A/C unit running all day but not cooling - I didnt know if it was the compressor or the capassitor or the coils???...The first appointment, John sent his crew who came out and did a thorough evaluation...They spent about 2 hours with me and determined that everything else was in great shape and it was just the R-22 gas that was low-to-none and I would be good-to-go with a re-charge. He told me it would take him a couple of weeks to get the R-22 since it is being phased out by the industry and difficult to acquire...We texted/emailed over the next weeks and he ALWAYS get right back to me so I never felt forgotten, and as promised, he showed up in person this time and pumped in my re-charge this week right before the “heat wave!!”.His diagnosis was accurate, and right the 1st time. My system is cranking comfortably cold air and my family is so happy. His total fees were very fair, and he spent extra time making sure everything was working properly. Even after his crew performed the inspection he reviewed everything again and said “I like to see for myself since I’m here”…At no additional expense he checked my 2nd system which was already running ok and he gave me a thumbs up on that one as well…He was very thorough, which I appreciated. However, what I appreciated most was that the day prior he said he’d arrive between 11-1 and the next day he arrived at 11:15…I was able to return to work for ½ day!Problems like this and dealing with trades guys can be tricky and expensive leading to mis-diagnosis and additional days off work to wait around so I really appreciated that John cared so much and adds a personal touch…He wanted to get it done right, and he did. Thank you, John!FYI I called 2 other contractors on Yelp, who did not want to come out to see my setup…They wanted to know the age of the systems and said that they’ve seen many of these old units over the years and partial/full replacement is my only option…I’m kind of DIY guy so I always believe there is a way to extend the life of a system even if the quote ends up ridiculously high, however, at least humor me to explore the possibility!When my system does need a full replacement – you can bet I’ll be calling John at Global for a quote and Id be happy to work with him and Global again since I trust them 100%...
