Everyone is amazing! Best dental experience I’ve ever had! The dentist and hygienist are patient, kind and explain everything so thoroughly. They are educated and skilled beyond their years. I used to dread visiting the dentist and now I’m excited to have my health needs met with superior service. The front desk ladies are so sweet and helpful as well! Ive followed around Hakim doctors as their patient for the past two decades. Where ever their office, I followed them; just did not want to lose them, even before they moved to Union Square. Speaking of moves, Id recommend anyone in the city who is exploring and searching for a new dentist to at least pay a visit to their new state of the art office; it is stunning, from the overall look to every little detail, including the brand new equipment and shiny futuristic rooms. Youd think that is the best part about this practice. It is not. The best part is the people of this all-ladies office. What makes them great is the way they handle you as a patient. They minimize your natural dental office visit anxiety by explaining what they will do in detail that day and when they do proceed, every one of them is as gentle as one can be treating a patient, with a fine mix of friendliness and professionalism. That includes not just the docs themselves, but hygienists too! When its all over, upfront ladies make your payment/billing/scheduling experience as easy as can be, and its usually taken care of in a minute or so. In short: smooth from beginning to end at this practice.I ask myself sometimes, what will I do if and when they decide to retire in say 30-40 years?? I dont want to have to change my dentist!

One of the best dental practices I’ve had the pleasure to visit.I’ve had a lot of dental work done in the past including braces, maxillofacial surgery, etc and this office was top notch.I was looking for a new dentist closer to our home and my husband recommended Union Square Dental Practice. I emailed them to schedule a cleaning since I skipped them in 2020 due to the pandemic and was taken care of by Nicole who is very organized and able to get all of my paperwork done before I stepped into the office.I was very impressed at my appointment as the receptionists were on top of everything including anticipating who I was as I walked in.Dr. Hakim (I believe I was seen by Dr. Mahsa, they’re sisters) was transparent about the procedure and recommendations. I usually have to ask follow up questions but she was ready with explanations throughout my visit.I would highly recommend visiting this office and look forward to being a long term patient.

I have recently moved from San Francisco and actually almost miss Going to the dentist. These dentist Sisters are the most expert, caring, compassionate, gentle, friendly Doctors Imaginable. The Staff is equally caring and friendly and is 100 percent organized and works relentlessly to ensure a schedule of services tailored Specifically to accommodate ones hectic lifestyle, responding immediately to all contingencies. My wife referred me to Union Square Dental about 1 year ago. The Doctors Hakim and Hakim are very professional and their team is efficient. The advice they give me is reasonable and they work with you to help create a plan for your ongoing dental health. As long as I am in San Francisco, I intend to continue to work with Union Square Dental.

Union Street Dental handled a situation VERY POORLY that resulted in extreme stress to me and a threat to my personal information. What happened to me was very unprofessional and uncalled for, and Id NEVER RECOMMEND this dental practice based on my experience. (I see at least 1 more reviewer had the same experience on Yelp, Im sure theres more.)I informed Union Street Dental I was temporarily moving out of the country the week following my visit in March 2019. Nicole confirmed I had a zero balance when I left, as I wanted to make sure I paid off everything I owed (or they anticipated me owing) before my move the following week. I also would not have a forwarding address since I do not have anyone to help with this.Fast forward to November 9, 2019, I received a call from a man in the US who said my name and didnt give details about himself or who he was working for. He proceeded to tell me I owed money to my dentist. This was new to me and was the first time I heard of this. I calmly told him Id call the dentist to verify with them. He began to SHOUT at me saying if I didnt give him my credit card number right away, he would destroy my credit immediately...there would be no second option. I happened to have him on speakerphone and was in the room with my Nest camera, when I told him he was being recorded, he became angrier. He said, look, I tried to help you, you should have paid me your debt, well be damaging your credit today.For real? Who in their right mind would give their credit card to ANYONE (especially an angry man) without proper verification??? I mean, you hear about these scams daily.I panicked and called the dentists emergency line. I got Nicole. I asked her what was going on and to verify this. She told me, oh, yes, I remember your name, I had to get you off my A/R, so I sent you to collections. Note: This is the same person who confirmed I didnt owe anything when I tried to close my account before moving.I asked Nicole why she didnt contact me. She told me she received returned mail from my address (because I moved like I told them) and tried my email address (which I closed because it was compromised and being used by someone else). Note: Email IS NOT a preferred way for me to receive medical/dental notifications, I always select by PHONE as a preference. So why didnt she just call or text me? She told me mail and email are easier and thought they were enough. Really...REALLY?!?!? Did she know the collections guy got me the first try? Moreover, Union Square Dental GAVE THEM MY PHONE NUMBER. Maybe this all could have been resolved back in March/April if they called me? (By the way, they did send me a text in September letting me know I was due for a dental visit...for real?)But instead, because this office was too lazy to give me a call or text, they decided to send me to a shady collections company for $80...which is peanuts. I would have gladly paid this whenever the dental office wanted, but they didnt bother to exhaust all options by calling me.I called the collections agency back and got another guy. I complained about the way I was treated, but the new guy continued to treat me like a deadbeat criminal. He then told me, you do realize we have your SSN and all your private information, we can do whatever we please with it. He was insinuating he was going to do shady things with my SSN!!! He got nastier and made more threats. I just paid him to shut him up and get him off my case. (Note: He recited my SSN to me without requiring me to give any information to verify myself, what if it wasnt me? This is the type of company this dentist likes to work with, SHADY.)I demanded to speak with the dentist after all this. She apologized but didnt really make this right...and didnt offer to reimburse the $10 collection fee. Just to reiterate, MY PRIVATE INFORMATION IS UNSAFE NOW!!!!!!! Now I have to be fearful of those uneducated, unprofessional men using my SSN and personal information inappropriately or selling...all for $80 and this offices inability to CALL or text me.

Dr. Masha did an amazing job making my teeth beautiful. My old teeth were so tiny it was embarrassing to smile for pictures. My veeners look spectacular, natural, and beautiful. Thank you doctor.

They use this sonic-water-cleaning thing, so no bloody gums, no pain, just beautiful clean teeth.2) Super kind and knowledgeable dentist. Dr. Mahsa Hakim was so sweet and so gentle and so quick! My smile looks amazing because of her. But best of all, she is compassionate and down to earth. No hard sells, no pushing of products, just professionalism and talented.3) Unquestionably the most talented practice manager/receptionist/insurance guru mans the front desk. Seriously, this lady knows what shes doing. I heard her explain about 4 different insurance plans and their benefits and loopholes, in depth, without pausing. Is it weird to love your dentist? Ive been going to Union Square Dental for over 6 years for everything from routine appointments to an 18 month Invisalign journey. My teeth are amazing thanks to Dr Hakim. I seriously look forward to my 6 month cleaning. From Nicole at the front desk to both Drs Hakim to the all the hygienists, they make your regular dentist visit a pleasure. I cant recommend them enough.

Let me count the ways. I adore Union Square Dental. The Drs. Hakim are absolutely wonderful: consummately professional, careful, gentle, precise, thorough, concerned and expert. Both my husband and I are patients and couldnt be happier. I moved to the practice shortly after it opened, so my care has been first-rate for some time. My husband came in subsequently, and friends began noticing that his teeth looked better after his first appointments. I cant imagine a better choice.

Chipped a front tooth and scrambled to find a dentist to fix it ASAP when my old dentist was unavailable. Found Union Square Dental on yelp & was impressed by all the amazing reviews. Not only did they get back to me within a few hours, but they were able to squeeze me in first thing in the morning & fix me right up. Despite being a new patient, they took the time to really make me feel comfortable from beginning to end. The doctor was AMAZING- explaining everything she was planning & doing, and also checking in frequently to make sure I was okay. Not only was her work flawless, but Im absolutely looking forward to going back to her & the practice next time for my regular dental visits. Thank you so much!!!!

I had a tooth situation caused from orthodontics last year and they were able to see me the same day I called, and fixed the problem quickly. Even if I wanted to give only 4 stars because parking is not great, it would not do the care they provide justice.

If you are looking for a dentist in the City, stop looking. Here is the place to go. Best dentists in town (Dr. Hakim(s)) and a very beautiful and calming office. I would highly recommend them for your dental needs!
