Awesome dental practice -- Dan Barry is kind, professional and a master craftsman. The support staff is friendly and experienced. This visit he referred me for a root canal... I just had it today with Dr. Shinbori also at 450 Sutter. A+ experience with her and her staff too. Dont be afraid!!! All these people are fabulous!

First of all, theyre in the beautiful, Pflueger-designed, easy-to-get-to 450 Sutter building, which makes going in a pleasure in itself. But the staff and Dr. Barry (Dan) are what makes the place so wonderful. Unlike many other dental offices, they have always called me in from the lobby the moment my appointment time arrived--no waiting because other patients were late or due to overbooking. The hygienists are all friendly and thorough. Dr. Barry does excellent work and is a real card. The administrative staff are very friendly and know their work; they never seem puzzled or confused or otherwise unable to figure out billing and insurance stuff--like other offices Ive been to. Definitely recommend!

I hadnt been to a dentist for about 2 years before my visit with Dr. Daniel Barry but Im glad I visited when I did because he helped me really understand oral hygiene and the proper way of brushing your teeth....youd think after doing it for 29 years, itd come as a no brainer, but really theres a method to it!Id recommend him to all my friends and family!

I came in for a fitting of a device which would prevent me from grinding my teeth. The team was prepared, had conducted a complete medical evaluation on the telephone in accordance with Covid 19 protocols and check my temperature on arrival. Great experience.

Dr. Barry was great, as usual. I was having sensitivity to sweets in an upper molar. Nothing visible on x-rays. Dr. Barry pokes at two teeth and found the loose filling on the second tug. He cleaned it and the space it was located in and re-cemented with no pain on my part. Told me nice stories to distract me while he was working. Sat with me while the cement was bonding to ensure everything went perfectly.

Dr. Daniel Barry III gave a very pleasant experience and answered my questions before I even asked. He gave me great tips as well as knowledge that I didnt expect from my visit. It is a life changing experience finally having a doctor with such great rapport. I look forward in continuing working with him for that smile I always wanted.

Dr. Barry made me feel very comfortable even after I avoided the dentist for a few years. He then gave me a few tricks for brushing my teeth and helped me understand when it is important to brush your teeth to protect the outer coating and avoid bacteria colonization i.e. bad breath and tarter build up. I learned more about my teeth in my 1 hour appointment than I have in all my years of seeing the dentist!Definitely recommend and glad to have a great dentist again!!

My first visit to this dentist. I hadn’t been to a dentist for over a year and several years before that last visit. The office was open and professional. The dental assistant asked about my dental concerns and took my x-rays was courteous and active in listening. Dr Barry introduced himself, looked at my X-rays with me and was on point as he read my dental history from the images. Asking me if he was getting it correctly, he then checked my teeth and gums (which were in bad shape). He let me know I needed a deep cleaning which he wanted to make an additional appointment and wanted to use our time to review dental health 101.The doctor took time to go over a plan of action and options for my gums and teeth. He led me over to his financial/insurance person who gave me an outline of pre-insurance costs and an alternative cost plan option.Overall this was a pretty positive experience in terms of in-depth and experienced care. A humane but no nonsense approach.

I chipped a front tooth when a fork got in the way of my veggies, and I took a bite out of the fork. Saw Dr. Barry next day, and after checking my teeth and gums, and making me feel less stressed about the repair, he proceeded to make a repair so unnoticeable, that my wife couldnt tell which tooth had been chipped. His team is kind and professional, and immediately welcomed me into the office. Im truly pleased with the results!

My sister, brother-in-law and I have all gone to Dan for over 30 years (!) now. My husband now sees him, as well. Dr. Barry is excellent at what he does and he and his staff are very friendly - highly recommended!!

I have been seeing Dr. Barry for years and years and I will have to say this was the most streamlined, organized, warm, kind and friendly visit from the staff at the front office, that I have experienced. Dr. Dan is nimble and gentle and smart and was extremely fluent in what was a fairly big dental event for me.

Almost Zero pain for work I had done yesterday. Dr. Barry saved my tooth! I’m good for another 10 years with this new filling.Never a wait. Always accommodating. Friendly staff. Super clean facility. No matter how sad I feel when I enter into Dr. Daniel Barrys office, he always is able to make me laugh and forget about why I was sad. Not only is he a wonderful dentist, he is a great listener and makes you feel comfortable when you are sitting in his chair.

My veneer fell out yesterday. I called the office at 9am this morning and they made room in their schedule to see me at 1120 am. The veneer was fixed before noon. Absolutely impeccable service.

My experiences so far have been pleasant, and no hassle. Ive also been afforded the opportunity to use a payment plan on procedures my insurance doesnt cover in full. Dr. Barry also saved me from having to get a root canal on my last visit. 😊

The office is a little crowded and the equipment is a little more old-fashioned than that of the dentist I am leaving (because of insurance) but the staff is friendly, Dr. Daniel Barry is well qualified and was properly concerned that I take good care of my teeth, and Gloria, my hygienist, cleaned and polished my teeth thoroughly. This was my first visit, but Ill be back.

Ive been a patient of Dr Dans for a very long time, hes kept my teeth (and my familys) very healthy. Growing up i never thought id enjoy a visit to the dentist but Dr Dans smiling face makes every visit is pleasant. on the last visit the Snore Guard mouthpiece he fitted me for fixed a bad snoring problem.
