Unexpected pleasure to write a great review for a dentist office!Just had a great experience with Angelica, the hygienist. Truly unbelievable at how gentle, yet thorough, she was. Boy, do my teeth feel clean!Why impressed me the most is how the staff genuinely love working for Dr. Miller. These guys are the best!

Doctor Baliwas created an excellent dental office. I admired his work for a few years before flying from another state to see him during a pandemic. The peaceful atmosphere and even the smell makes you feel you are at a spa. The office is impeccable, and they take every possible measure to provide dental care safely. As a dentist, he’s very honest and does a great job. He keeps up to date with the latest dental techniques, and he will do the best he can to save your teeth. His dental hygienist is also great. You will receive the best dental care in this office. I highly recommend his entire team. Do not choose a dentist based on your coupon (dental insurance); choose your dentist by their skills and safety precautions. Doctor Baliwas is worth every penny.

Dr. Brian Baliwas is the dentist that got me un-scared of the dentist. Growing up I hated going to the dentist and carried that with me but Dr. B really set me straight and opened my eyes to smooth dental care.10/10 would recommend.

I have known Dr Baliwas for about a decade and I think his life motto is “exceeding expectations”. I have observed that he is committed to finding a better way to do almost everything. He is always thinking and “sharpening the axe”. I genuinely have the utmost respect for him, he is very personable and makes dentistry FUN—Yes, I just said that! I recommend people to this office all the time and feel confident saying you will have the best dental appointment you have ever had. I highly recommend Dr. Miller and the entire team at 450 Aesthetics. Ive been a patient there for 2 years and have had nothing but positive experiences during routine cleanings and larger operations (including two partial crowns).The staff is really friendly, the billing process is transparent, and the team is working very hard to make sure that everyone stays safe in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. I visited the office a couple times last month and felt very safe; the team was super diligent about screening patients, wearing masks, using hand sanitizer, etc.Given my history of cavities, I really appreciate that Dr. Miller strives to preserve the natural tooth structure as much as possible. He only recommends treatment when absolutely necessary and he happily answers all my questions about treatment. I started using an anti-bacterial, pH neutralizing mouth wash and its done wonders. My teeth feel much cleaner and Im noticing a lot less plaque build up. I love the approach of working to prevent cavities instead of just fixing them as they happen.As you can see, I love these folks! Dr. Miller is the best dentist Ive ever had!

Not Your Average Dentist!After having what I considered a dental emergency I contacted his offices and was able to make an appointment the next day to be seen. I hadnt been to a dentist in close to 6 years and when I shared my fears and worries with him he confidently, and calmly assured me that I was going to be okay. Unlike any other dentist-patient experience that I have had before, Dr. Baliwas displayed a level of meticulous patient-focused care and rare transparency that allowed me to feel like I was truly in control and in amazing hands. I received a couple of quick and painless x-rays, a temporary filling, an action plan for getting my oral health back on track, and tons of reassurance that I was going to be okay. Dr. Brian and the staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, comfortable, and safe. I 100% recommend him to anyone who needs any form of dental work.

Best dentist in the city! Ive had my fair share of dental work done in my life and this was by far the best experience. He took the time to explain what was going on with my teeth and gums and how I can work to better prevent further dental work. He also didnt push treatments, but explained how with proper care and a vigilance could save me time, money and possibly unnecessary treatments.I mean, the guy took pictures and x-rays of all my teeth (which was done way quicker than even just x-rays in another dentists office) to show me exactly what he was seeing. The experience was so transparent and pleasant that I wish I could give him 10 stars!

I cannot recommend 450 Dental Group enough. I’ve been seeing Dr. Adam Miller for the past two years and have gotten far better care than ever before in my life. I have had great, quality care before, but this is the next level. Dr. Miller is literally a professor of dentistry and it really shows. There is an educational aspect to his approach. His demeanor is totally relaxed and calming, which I know is an issue for a lot of people. I really feel involved in the process and appreciate that he understands how comfortable that makes me. The really big news for me is that I have TMJ (jaw popping) and have been told, “tough luck” by everyone except Dr. Miller. I’m so excited to be doing some ground breaking things to correct my bite. We have long term goals for gum recession, my bite, the color of my teeth, crowns etc. Sorry if that is too much information, but for a seemingly nice smile, I have issues and I know I’m getting the best possible care. Also, the entire staff is extremely professional and kind. From the secretary to the other hygienists, it’s just a great all around office.Lastly, with Covid 19 going on, I really appreciated the screening process before entry. It was the most thorough of any appointment that Ive had since the start of the pandemic. The temperature gauge the forehead, plus they had a digital clip for the finger that had to do with heart rate. It made me feel safe and I appreciated the extra precautions. Also, the questionnaire was very thorough. I cant say enough good things about the entire operation. Love this dental group!

Dr. Baliwas is one of the highest quality health professionals Ive ever interacted with. His approach is very consultative. He shares everything he finds and is wonderful with communication. Its particularly impressive how he uses the most modern equipment and technology available to share with his clients. His passion for his profession is abundantly clear throughout the visit. I just had the most amazing experience after needing emergency dental care. Dr. Baliwas is an incredible dentist and person - not only does he know the ins and outs of his practice, but he genuinely cares about doing right by the person in the chair. Would recommend any day and almost wish I still lived in SF so I could go to him always!

Dr. Baliwas is out-of-network with my insurance, but I don’t care. His dentistry is the best and it doesn’t cost me much out of pocket to see him anyway. He teaches you everything you need to know about your teeth and overall health, and thoroughly explains which treatments are necessary for your health and which are recommended but optional. Book an appointment and try him out.

I am torn between wanting to brush my teeth to gain Dr. Baliwas approval and never brushing my teeth again so that I have an excuse to visit. He knows what hes doing, hes gentle with my teeth, and he does not push unnecessary procedures. Best dentist Ive ever been to!

Dr. Baliwas is an amazing dentist. He is dedicated to his practice and meticulous in his work. He cares about his patients and genuinely wants to help, often when he receives no benefit. What sets Dr. Baliwas apart from other dentists is his transparency - when he assesses what work needs to be done, he will let you know what is crucial and what isn’t necessarily dire. He allows you to make an informed decision and provides sound advice.

I love Dr. Baliwas. He has state of the art technology. His philosophy is the opposite of my Beverly Hills dentist who wanted to do as much at the highest prices possible. Dr. Baliwas’s office takes my insurance and I have a beautiful smile because of him. Best of all my teeth have gotten stronger and healthier since I have been seeing him. I might even get them whitened because they are no longer sensitive or chipped anymore. Love this dentist!!!

Oh, you havent heard of SF Dental Nerd? Youve been sleepin.In all seriousness, Dr. Baliwas is legit the best dentist Ive ever gone to. And Ive gone to a lot of dentists, for various genetic reasons.First, the office is nice and the staff are kind. Dr. Baliwas himself is very empathetic (he never makes you feel dumb for asking a question or shames you for any habits you may or may not have). On top of that, hes EXTREMELY knowledgable and has an attention to detail some might call perfectionist (when did this become a bad thing?!). My teeth are very important to me (its a goal to die with all of my parts), so I appreciate someone who really cares. Oh, also- I never feel rushed at his office. Everything is always explained in depth and detail, and there are always some good laughs or recommendations (sneakers, restaurants, etc) thrown in.IDK who your dentist, but you should definitely switch.

Half of my coworkers see Dr. Baliwas because we all love him so much. The other half have bad teeth.
