Love coming here. They do a phenomenal dip powder! They are officially my go to spot and the green tea is a bonus!

Come at opening otherwise make an appointment. Everyone has to wear masks and temperature check is required but very pleasant experience and you feel safe as there is good ventilation inside. Prices are fair for the quality of service. Pedicures are no fun for anyone so why not pamper yourself once in awhile. Street parking can be challenging but you can take nearby public transportation or walk if you live in the neighborhood.

This place is amazing! I come here all the time and have never had a bad experience. They also validate parking (100% of it!) in the small plaza they are in so that you dont have to pay to park when you go there, which is a huge perk in downtown!

Ive been searching for a place to get my nails consistently and have had bad luck until I went here! Everyone who worked their was welcoming and provided great service. I got tips with dip powder over to weeks ago and they are holding up great will definitely return!

I come from the slope all the way here, with many salons in between. The customer service is amazing, the best spa pedicure Ive ever had, and my nails look amazing! Love the SNS color. No chip, lasts weeks & Beautiful hands.

I was really pleased with my gel manicure (and regular pedicure). Both lasted for my holiday, grabbing suitcases is rough on nails! Fair prices and nice people.

They are great! Staffs are efficient and friendly. The place is clean. I got there around 4:30pm on a Friday. Was pretty empty and when I left at 5:30, the crowd started to come in.

Very aesthetic place to get your nails done. The environment was clean and service was friendly! They serve you Peppermint Tea or Green Tea. Never really been to a nail salon that serves you hot tea so it was def a plus for me. I got the silver hologram nails and I loved it. (Wish I saved the pics) Will be back next time in San Francisco.

Clean and relaxing. My pedicure was fabulous. I did hot stones with paraffin wax. Gel manicure. My nails last 3-4 weeks. Only because they grow out. I have yet to have one chip or come off and I type all day long. Thank you Ken, Mindy and all the others whose name I do not know.

This was my second time to Gentle Nails. I should have learned my lesson the first time. Went in for a fill. Walked out with overpriced, awful nails.I asked for a rounded shape, two separate people could not file them evenly. The paint is clumpy, the acrylic is rough around the edges, and every nail looks different from the others. I honestly grew tired of asking them to fix it. I asked for a simple triangle design at the base of 2 nails, he couldnt make the lines straight, so I told him to forget it. Left the shop, discussed it with my friend I went in with, and decided to go back and talk to them.I went in maybe 15 minutes after I left, asked to speak to someone privately, only to be yelled at and told that this is what I wanted. No one wants this. The lady got in my face, too close for comfort. I was charged for a cut down, even though I didnt ask for that. Oh and if I did ask for my nails to be trimmed down to the tips of my fingers, its considered an add on and that pricing is listed on the back wall- so you cant see it from the front of the shop.Beware of high prices and low quality. Oh and liars that yell at their customers.

One of the only reliable, clean, neat, skillful nail salons I know of in the Newark area, my go-to ...love all the ladies that work there, Isabel is the owner .... my gel pedicure lasted 4 weeks no lie lmao ... always get LCN on my nails with gel polish filling every 2 and half weeks...thank me lata
