I’ve been to just about every nail salon in the city and this one is a new go-to. Huge color selection, fair pricing, friendly and extremely talented staff. I walked out feeling pampered and blown away by the quality of my mani-pedi. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new local nail spot.

I’m thrilled to find such a wonderful place in my neighborhood. I have only good things to say about this salon, from the friendly greeting to the long lasting gel nails and perfectly clean and hygienic studio and protocols during pandemic. No massage chairs but comfortable anyway.

Super convenient location right on Cesar Chavez by Mission. The ladies here were really sweet and attentive doing my mani-pedi. They offered water/tea, a hot or cold shoulder wrap, and let me change my mind in the color after seeing how it looked going on the first nail. The facilities feel really clean and well kept up too.

As pregomama with the big belly, I wanted to treat myself with a special pedicure at sophias. I chose Indulgent pedicure- which involved lots of massage of my feet and calfs with different products + basic pedicure.I wouldnt recommend it at all for pregnant women unless you have enough energy to communicate with your technician consistently.Overall service was great! Sophia helped me to sit on the chair and get off safely ;) I will try a different pedicure next time. Its just Indulgent pedicure wasnt for me.

From their attentiveness to detail to their high quality customer service, this salon has earned a new regular customer! Besides manicures and pedicures, they offer almost everything you can possibly need which saves you trips to multiple salons. I always receive compliments on my brows and manicures so I of course refer them to Sophia’s Beauty Lounge! Definitely the best salon experience I’ve ever had in the area :)

I love how they take time cleaning my cuticles. Everyone is so friendly and the pedicure chair massages while you get totally relaxation with spa music on the background. Tina and Snow do such meticulous job! Thank you ^_^ from a happy customer!

Hands down the best nail salon. My best friend and I go once a month for manis, pedis and she also gets an eyebrow waxing. The owner, Sophia, is lovely. Their hygiene is impeccable, using autoclaving and opening the packages in front of you. Their color selection is extensive and they are so knowledgeable and accommodating. My favorite nail technician is Ping, but everyone seems great. Be sure to get the beaded neck pillow when you are seated (choose hot or cold) and a drink and let them worry about the rest! You need to bring cash for tips or stop at the nearby ATM, as they dont allow credit tips--just credit payment for services is accepted.

I have tried many nail salons in SF and I just keep coming back to Sophias. I love the chill spa vibe. The seats are very comfortable and the heated neck wrap and tea are such a special touch. The front desk worker is super pleasant and Ping and Ming are excellent technicians. Super detailed. I came here for my wedding nails and they knocked it out of the park with a nude gel ombre with gold flecks. It is pricier for a reason! Worth every penny. Ive also had their waxing services done by Sophia and it was very professional, painless and lasted a long time. Finally, I appreciate that they are a healthy beauty salon!

Sophia and her team are just delightful! Everyone is professional and friendly. The salon is very clean and comfortable and the staff make you feel at home with heat packs and cups of tea whilst having your nails done. I could not recommend this place more.

Bad customer service I was rejected the other day for not having an appointment. They only take appointments no walk ins. There is no sign indicating appointments only. No sign outside, inside or on the website. No paraffin wax pedicure either. I like the paraffin wax because its fun and it relaxes me. It feels good on the feet when standing and working long hours. Its not only to make your skin soft. They were trying to sell me some cream to soften up my feet. No thanks! Didnt like the place nor needed the cream. Took off in disappointment.and went elsewhere.

Visiting from out of town and got the best gel manicure of my life. Very reasonable prices, great service, nice staff and awesome attention to detail.

I made an appointment for my friend and I the day before Xmas eve, they fit us in no problem! Walked in and decided we wanted to add pedis as well- again, no problem! Daisy + Rose were super sweet and did an awesome job on my gel manicure and pedicure. While waiting for my friends color to dry, I dinged my toe a little, I told them they could just paint over it and itd be fine but they insisted they fix it the right way so it would look prettier for me! I have NEVER had such great customer service at a nail salon, ever. I will definitely be coming back!u

It is nice and welcoming place with good service and cute interior. It is clean and the price/service ratio is satisfying comparing to other places in the area. All the girls seems to know what they are doing, so if you dont know your favourite yet you wont leave unsatisfied.

This is a fabulous salon. Sophia is wonderful and really cares about her clients. I went in for a few services before my wedding and was thrilled with everything. Its quiet, relaxing, chic, clean, and colorful. Its the best!

They are so nice, have lots of colors to choose from and my gel manicure lasted FOREVER, no cracks or anything after 3 weeks!

I came here because of the excellent reviews I saw on my google search when locating a great nail salon. However, I was very disappointed to arrive at 11:30 this morning, and be told I cannot be seen until 6:15pm and its not even crowded. The receptionist stated that they promote appointments. Now I have nothing against appointments; however if thats what you want then your google ads should state that so when people like me are searching they know if its appointment based or not. I came from quit a distance and I do not have a car so to arrive and be told this information was very disappointing! Maybe I will consider making an appointment and coming another time. Very frustrated.

What a gem! I have been to about 1000 nail salons in the city and this one really stands out. Many salons make you feel rushed, dont really focus on the job their doing and the techs spend most of the time speaking to each other in Vietnamese. This does not happen at Sophias. They clearly care about the experience you have and want to make sure you become a loyal customer. The owner is very kind and helpful and the staff lovely. A chic place with a calm atmosphere. The mani/pedi was top notch.

I have yet to find a place in SF from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave you know your in for a treat at Sophias Beauty Lounge. Every detail is covered from the glassware for your drink to the chilled neck wrap... Oh and dont get me started with the Mani/Pedi it was fabulous. Its now my new home away from home.The only other place that even comes close for me is in So Cal OC area and I thought I would have to take a trip just for the experience and this is in my own backyard!!! Btw pricing you get what you party for enough said.
