Good gym. Nice people. Clean
Love this Equinox. It’s super clean and well equipped.
Absolutely LOVE Equinox. Equinox Union has everything from barre to yoga to eucalyptus towels! Not to mention the Kiehls products :). Also has a more local/home-y feel than the Pine and Market locations.
A fantastic high-end gym experience!
The glory that is EQX...is BACK!!! Come one, come all...! 👍😎🎉
A fantastic high-end gym experience! 4 floors of Differentiated pace and vibe, with incredible facilities that include a eucalyptus steam room and waterfall showers. Not to mention the incredible classes and instructors! Kelsey and Nikki are my favorites- they bring MAJOR ENERGY to my fitness experience (: Two years later and I’m still a happy member. If you are on the fence, I’d recommend 10/10!
I honestly prefer showering and using the facilities here over my own apartment! Daily steams have become a ritual and the Kiel’s can’t be beat. The equipment is modern and continually updated, and the workout classes in particular are challenging and never too packed. I recently took a class by Kelsey Mead, and I’m still sore a week later. Can’t recommend her highly enough! The price is high but the caliber of individuals you are meeting and spending time with can’t be beat in the city. It is money well spent.
One of my favorite EQX locations mainly because of the instructors and classes Union Street has. Make sure to try Body Conditioning or Stacked! with Kelsey M.
Elite facility in the premier San Francisco neighborhood.
Was considering coming here until their mass advertising on youtube showing completely fit, sweaty, sexy folks working hard and looking fit. saying they have personal training for everyone. after my trial, i didn’t feel included. i felt like i didn’t fit in, like the gym was too full of beautiful people casually working out and schmoozing, just being seen.five stars for amenities, but this gym seems much more suited for wealthy, beautiful, athletic people. i need a lore humble place to work on my fitness, not an ego-inflated hangout.also lack of parking. fitness sf is way cheaper and has tons of parking and way less ego with the amenities. also no bull sign on policy with no contract or “dues”
This branch is on my top 3. stuffed with smiling staff and got many hideout corners to switch on your beastmode (or whatever mode you heart desires)
I have been a member of 3 different Equinox Clubs. Union Street is one of my favorites! The group fitness classes are challenging and fun. The club is clean and large. My one complaint is the lack of parking.
Dont buy anything from their store - terrible customer experience, shady, and arent willing to work with you at all. My gf is really small and tough with sizing but they told me just buy it, dont worry about sizing, bring it back and theyll figure it out.Brought it back the next morning (too big) and theyd only take store credit 12 hours later. Their pants are all too big for my gf so theres nothing I can buy -- too bad enjoy this $110 credit you cant use now.Take better care of your members that are customers! We pay enough for the membership to gut us on stuff like this..
Best gym on the West Coast! You get what you pay for – world class equipment, staff, HIIT classes, yoga classes all day, steam rooms, chilled eucalyptus towels, full spa... come on!
This location just doesnt do it for me. They have the equipment oddly placed and cramped next to each other. Its hard to find your own space when its busy. The locker rooms are dirtier than Id expect and theres a camera placed at the entrance which you have to pass to go from lockers to showers ..so I wonder how much they see. The people that generally go there just stand around by the equipment snapping selfies in the mirror while you patiently wait for a turn on the machine theyre not using. I hated going due to the atmosphere.
I hate it when google puts dedicated icons on my maps. It’s distracting and irrelevant to me
Great gym, atmosphere and classes. The trainees are awesome.
👎👎👎 Be careful what you sign up for. Ive been a member for over a year. Once you give them your credit card, theyll keep milking it for as long as they can. Ask them explicitly about hidden fees, membership minimum requirements, and cancellation policy. Theres a lot of stuff in the terms & conditions, stuff that youre not gonna like. Its overcrowded and simply not worth the money. I would not recommend it to friends. 🏋️🙅♀️🙅♂️
Terrible sales team: very pushy, and rude.TLDR: Equinox stole from me 3 PT sessions and “forgot” to give me a $200 referral bonus.Allow me to talk about the time a sales representative tried to convince me to re-subscribe to the gym.But first, the two episodes that made me cancel my membership the first time.Episode 1. Sales representative suggested me to book classes with a personal trainer, she called her “the best in the gym”. Trainer was never available during weekends (I had explicitly requested to work with someone that could train S/Su). Trainer did not show up to 3 sessions, but registered the sessions as taken on the system; then left to work at a different gym. This costed me ~$300 I was so upset I put in my 30 days cancellation notice.Episode 2. During my 30 days cancellation period (still a paying member), a friend of mine became a new member using me as a referral. She signed up with the same salesperson as I did.I was supposed to receive a $200 referral bonus. I never did. When I was conctacted by the salesperson to join again, I told her about the two issues. I said that I could have considered joining again AFTER taking the 3 PT sessions that were stolen from me, and being granted the $200 referral bonus that the salesperson “forgot” to give me. The salesperson answered with an offensive and rambling email, pretty much saying that it was my fault and I could go to hell. She told me that I could have gotten the 3 sessions and the $200 bonus ONLY after signing up for another year (which is like $2.5+). She added as well that she was not surprised about the behavior of the trainer, which was not at Equinox anymore “for very clear reasons” (but was she not supposed to be the best?). I forwarded her reply to the head of the sales team, who NEVER got back to me.
Always clean, friendly staff. Of course its expensive, its equinox.
Beautiful new gym in place of a theatre, so it still has whimsical theatrical accents. Lots of AM and PM classes (spin / cardio / yoga / etc.) with tons of clean machines and a eucalyptus steam room! And of course Kiehls for Equinox products. Its expensive for a gym but its a little piece of heaven in your day that makes it totally worthwhile.
Disgusting and ugly and old and just plain dumb . Dont even bother coming too this location because it is trash and a waste of your time.A personal trainer sexually harassed me here and Ive been literally to scared to come back ! So Im wasting a lot of money because Im in a contract. The manager just told me --your being a baby-- and that was rather shocking if you ask me .
Nice enough club, but a bit cramped and unintuitively laid out. Also there dont seem to be water fountains on either of the workout floors, which is a huge pain if you happen to forget your water bottle.
Good facilities, but they basically tried to cheat me out of the intro package by delaying and never responding to my requests to schedule the sessions, so be prepared for that.
Great gym, atmosphere and classes.
They have the worst customer service I have ever seen I would not recommend this gym to anyone I’ve been training for the last 10 years is the one of the worst Gyms I’ve ever seen. It’s a complete waste of money save yourselves and go to another gym
Great gym!
