I’ve been coming to Aerial Artique every trip to SF for 4 years and have really appreciated my experience here. The staff are friendly and the open training is accessible and super reasonably priced. They have 4 aerial points that they switch out for different apparati and the warmup area is always clean. I’m not sure where they will locate in the near future but I highly recommend visiting them!
Large space, doesn’t get too crowded. Instructors are good but not super attentive, so it’s not very beginner friendly. I’ve take their flexibility, Lyra and Silk classes.
My friends and I came here for a private party, it was one of our birthdays. We had Colleen and Maia as our instructors. They were absolutely fabulous and animated the whole time which made it super fun to learn! I was able to do about 5 different poses by the time I left and we got killer photos to commemorate the day. I feel like I could probably take on a regular intro class now and am looking forward to taking a class on the actual schedule. The pricing was way affordable for scheduling a private and Maia and Colleen were super flexible on the timing which helped us a ton. Thanks you two!!
I have loved every single class that I have taken here! Everyone one here is always super happy and super talented. Their management staff is always ready to answer my questions and go the extra mile to help. One of the work trade staff went above and beyond and made a personalized list of classes according to my level and schedule. I love this place
All this place really has going for it is the space itself: the community and management are better at San Francisco Pole & Dance, but their ceilings are low for silks. Circus Center has better silks instructors and higher ceilings, but its location is somewhat inconvenient. Aerial Artique is good for open gym, but the schedule for that is no good for people who work normal hours and they shortened the time on Saturdays :(
Helium is one of the best instructors I have worked under; her vast experience with aerial acrobatics allows her to give the most productive lessons to both new and old students alike. Please note that the gym is located at the top level of the Kryolan building and you need to get buzzed in to gain access to the building.
Experienced instructors, very good place. Small groups. Lots of fun
Hi! Came here to celebrate my bday with my crew of 8 gfs and ended up having the most mind blowing time. We all loved it, love the space and the teachers. Thank you for having us and not kicking us out for being too silly most of class!
Incredible studio, awesome instructors, great community. Highly recommend trying a silks class here - very beginner friendly.
Beautiful and clean interior. Excellent teachers! Maia the owner is wonderful. I now come for open gym time regularly after a few excellent classes.
This is an amazing and supportive environment for learning aerial and acro yoga . It feels like family and if you get a chance check out the showcase, it’s really special!
Beautiful, clean, spacious studio! It looks like it was meant for yoga but instead they turned it into a silks studio! There is an area for your stretch, shelves to put away stuff, a little kitchenette/fridge, and ample space for four silks/lyra. The ceilings are high and the studio is very open. I love the vibe of this place! The only downside is that it can get really really hot in the summer because its located on the third floor.I highly recommend checking this place out if youre into aerial silks/lyra and are up in the SF area. The classes here are great and they have excellent workshops from well known aerialists. The prices are a little bit high but not outrageous and I think they are worth it.It might be hard to find the place since its actually inside of another building. You just have to find the door and ring the doorbell. Theres only street parking available, and the neighborhood can be a little sketch so dont show up too early for class because no one is in the studio to let you in.
Great community and instructors! The space is beautiful and open too. A wonderful place to learn silks and hoop in the city.
Kinda expensive. Great, fast pace class. Would recommend doing their basics class first if you dont have much upper body strength to start with
Beautiful studio, and high ceilings. The instructors seem very knowledgeable and experienced. The classes are just pretty pricey for drop ins.
So glad I found this place. The aerial silks classes are challenging and fun. Thai is an inspiring instructor who pushes you to your limits.
Good place to join the circus and not run away from home.
Come here get in shape and relax all at the same time. The staff is absolutely incredible and accommodating here.
Its so good that I almost wanted to give it only 1 star so I can have the place all by myself lol
Welcoming. Amazing instructors. I dropped in for a class and loved it.
Love the staff, classes, and overall vibe of the whole place.
I have taken aerial classes before. Ive learned more technic at aerial artique. Teachers are experienced and the classes are small. Very friendly and supportive environment.
Clean utility and great classes for all sorts of aerial lyra, silk or rings. Wish their class schedule can be more work-life friendly though.
Structured aerial classes teaching proper techniques.
Management is very unprofessional
Great instructors!
