Came here for a drop in for the weightlifting class. Deb, the coach, was able to give me some good queues. However, if you’re new to CrossFit or have less experience I would have felt a bit overwhelmed as there was no clear instructions and we just got to work. The gym facilities are obviously super nice and the equipment is great. You also get a towel and all the necessary things to take a shower. If you’re looking for a quick drop in come here (if you’ve got some experience doing CrossFit).

Flagship is a top notch gym! I highly recommend to anyone new to the area or looking to switch gyms. The facilities are large, clean and have locker rooms which makes pre/post work workouts easy! The 3 locations are all awesome and convenient! Equipment is all top of the line and on top of that they always seem to be ordering new equipment too. The coaching staff is great, Zach S. in the mornings at FiDi is my personal fave.Since joining 8 months ago, I have lost 20 pounds, but gained a ton of strength along the way. Ive made some awesome friends and always feel welcome no mater what time or location I attend.

The place was clean and professional-looking, with the equipment in top condition. Our coach was attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. Only 4/5, though, because it definitely lacked a community vibe. Classes were full and back-to-back, and with the limited space (and with two classes running concurrently), it was not that welcoming.

Based on my drop in Id have to agree with both other posters about the excellent quality of equipment and no introduction / community aspect. However the manager Victoria and 3 members I chatted to were super friendly, so perhaps you just need to be a regular member to get into the community. No issues with the mobility/warm up and down.

The quality of the Olympic Weightlifting sessions I visited was good - the coaches knew what they were talking about and the equipment was on point! As a drop-in, I didnt feel very welcome though. No community-vibe, no introduction and in one of the sessions the coach just seemed to continuously ignore that I was a drop-in (session was started with you know what to do, so lets go etc. even though I introduced myself as being there for the first time). I guess its a really nice place to go to if youre a regular member or if you just want to get your workout in, but if you look for a welcoming vibe, I wouldnt recommend this box.

Dropped in while I was in town to the 8 am class and had a great time. Anyone complaining about a high drop in fee is forgetting they are in San Francisco and this gyms lease has to be expensive. Youre not in Kansas anymore. Facility was clean and had great equipment. Coach was friendly and helpful. Id recommend it.

Good location for a drop in. Arrogant coaching and negative experience overall. I was told if I bought a shirt then drop in fee would be waived. After a charged showed up for the shirt and drop in, I reached out to see fee could be reversed and the manager went on tirade. I was asked to provide names and class attended, so he can reprimand employee. Very unprofessional as opposed to waiving the fee. If youre in the Bay Area and looking for a drop in, I would recommend NCFIT or San Francisco CF as its a much better experience.Disregard the owner and his fast charging response. No scam here, I have been dropping into CrossFit gyms for 7 years, Flagship - FiDi is the definition of unprofessional. This was absolutely an isolated incident as I have traveled all around the world and most gyms are very professional. As CrossFit member of an affiliate, you have options. I will soon post emails from our correspondence, so you can see what type of person he is.

Not much more than a local gym for Drop-Ins. Very little time allocated for warm-up. No time allocated for mobility. Doesnt feel like theres a community at all. Really high drop in fee. 2 stars because the equipment is nice.

Dropped in twice while visiting, and had a great experience. Clean facility with plenty of equipment. Classes do fill up so if you are dropping in make sure to sign up online to reserve a spot.

My second home in San Francisco. Knowledgeable and patient coaches. They are understanding of limitations but push you to be better than you think you are.

Goood ambiance and cooperative coaches. I think if you set up your goal and discuss it with ur coach, you will definitely meet it. All coaches are comparatively good and cooperative but Zach is very enthusiastic. I love him for his dedication

Summary: Fantastic Crossfit gym staffed by some of the best coaches in the sport.Flagships facilities are great but the heart of the box are its coaches and members. The coaches are both highly skilled and caring. They emphasize properly stretching before and after the workouts and they ensure proper form at all times through constructive coaching. The class sizes are small -- Ive never felt lost in a crowd here. The facility is great. Nice space, new equipment, great location. The members are also fantastic. Open, encouraging and no attitude. If youre looking for a crossfit box in SF, you should definitely check out Flagship.

I was in SFO for a couple of days and dropped by Flagship Crossfit and I had a great time! The people there and the coaches were very friendly. Their coaches know what they are talking about and their warm ups were really focussed on the movements of the day and activating the right muscle groups. I attended coach Lindsey La Dew and coach Zach Lemis class and all I can say is, it was GREAT! I will be sure to drop in the next time when I am in SFO.

Awesome facility, with top line Crossfit setup. Keeping in mind I only went to a 6 am class on a visit, it seemed like a sterile environment with no introductions and not really the community aspect/welcome of visitors that Ive been accustomed to at other Boxes Ive visited.
