Delta check-in counters with self check-in kiosks and personnel ran counters. Ticketing and check-in agents are available right outside the drop off area. Staff is friendly and helpful.
We had a puppy shipped to us using Delta Cargo. when i called to confirm, the woman from ATL on the phone was great. she emailed me and was generally very helpful. when we picked the puppy up, the staff at the counter were great. the guy who transfers the cargo from the plane to the cargo counter had waited for our package so we wouldnt have to wait too long. overall, everyone was great!
My luggage arrived before me. They were very pleasant.

My computer was damaged because the Delta staff asked me to check in my carry-on bag. Inside my carry-on was my computer, which has my life in it. The computer screen is damaged.

We flew Delta non-stop from Minneapolis to San Francisco, Ca. We were somehow put in the last row of a full flight. We will forever refer to that flight as the Poop flight. Im surprised by the number of people who poop on an airplane. One man had to be rousted out of the rest room after taking 15 + minutes in there causing a backup. It left us open to people standing in the isle shooting the breeze with us and sticking their butts in our face while they waited. Remember on a plane if you bend to speak with someone across the isle, youre putting your butt in someones face behind you. Our flight back, we were again stuck in the last seat. It was suggested by Delta customer service that I ask the agent at the gate if we could move our seats. When I did, the ticket agent was moody and rude. She stuck us by the bathrooms in the midsection of the plane despite my plea for no bathrooms.
The flight was awfully hot and they couldnt do anything to cool it down. It was horribly uncomfortable.

After a two hour delay, it took them over an hour and twenty minutes to get the luggage to baggage claim.

Yesterday I called and they agreed to return the call, they did not .. today I called again and they answered ... they never gave me the availability of the load, neither through the web, nor through the corresponding link .. I already have my load !! !
This is an airline that can choose to take a connecting flight, but the baggage check-in counter must be checked in one hour before. Sometimes the service staff cannot be seen before the close counter time, so go to the airport early when checking in.
