Alaska needs to mark the new lounge at SFO so that we Boardroom members, Gold 75Ks, etc. can leave reviews.I love AS!
I really like this airline, most of the staff is friendly and want to help, but the staff at the SFO need to get at the same level first person to receive customer was super rude and of course she didnt had a name tag but i wont make look bad the airline for 1 person thats why i give them 4 stars but please take to your SFO front desk
Best airline experience in years. Nothing super special, BUT...you know what? It was refreshing that EVERY employee I was in contact with seemed happy and helpful.I consider myself easy going, and I understand people can be stressed out etc...but Ive been yelled at, found rudeness without reason at United and American .Alaska air was friendly and competent at every step. I try to limit my credit cards in wallet, but I was so impressed I joined their credit club...Ill fly them again. My west coast family flies with them frequently and praised them around the dinner table . Usually we are trading airline horror stories . However nothing but praise here.Keep,up the good service, fair prices, friendly staff...a winning combo.
Alaska, sadly, not any different than most of these airlines. Last five, yes five flights with Alaska have had a delay. Today’s delay is due to the co-pilot not being here. We are waiting for him or her to show. That falls under the category of “not my problem”. Yet, we all sit on an aircraft they knew ahead of time would not leave as scheduled. Why board us knowing this? Nothing will be done. Weather related delays I can accept but poor planning I cannot. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere but then it is likely that elsewhere will treat you the same. The airlines need to be held accountable and better laws put in place to protect the consumer. As it stands now, the airlines can get away with murder and there is not a lot the average person can do about it.
We just had an amazing flight using Alaskan. We are headed to our honeymoon, just got married on Saturday, and they were amazing. We flew flight 3377. Fast boarding plus, we told no one it was our honeymoon except I asked if I could ask the captain if he could just make an announcement. Thats all. Before we take off next thing I know, me and my knew wife and moved to first class and treated like royalty. Our flight attendant Richie was amazing, making conversations while both being professional with other passengers yet maintaining a dynamic conversation with us.The flight was smooth and fast and we got in a bit early so I asked if I could thank the pilot, Captain Matt, who originally facilitated our awesome flight. We cant thank you all enough, you truly made the start of our trip a time to remember. Please to any managers looking take note of these 2 fine gentlemen. They truly know what customer service is.
Very nice.
Flight canceled two hours before the boarding time and they only offer rebook for the next day in a round trip of a weekend to L. A. or a refund, even some miles. We lost already a hotel night. To be honest, I will never take them again. Filling online the claim... because they do not take any claim here.
GOOD AIRLINES SFO
God forbid you purchase your ticket through a 3rd party (a lot of customers probably don’t even realize this is happening, I didn’t!). And what’s the deal with airline tickets not making it blatantly obvious about what time you need to check in by and what time you need to be on the plane by? As if the departure time on the runway matters to anyone!Anyways, De Boise will tell you to get on the phone with your 3rd party to help you, stating that they don’t get paid until your flight lands... good luck getting customer service on your flight that you haven’t boarded yet with that policy! Eventually someone else was able to help me, so clearly wasn’t necessary (or good customer service) to put me in the phone with a 3rd party company when I had booked a flight on their plane, 3rd party or not.
Really great service loved it
The two ladies working nights at baggage service deserve a raise or a medal. So nice and so helpful.
Wenton vacation with two kids and used Alaska airlines. The cabins are nice. Good and free movies. The reason for only three stars is because our flight out of Chicago was delayed by two hours. Then, our flight back home out of SFO was delayed by two hours (or more, still sitting at the gate with my two young children). Still leaps and bounds better than the discount airlines.
Great prices and professional staff.
From Cabos to Sacramento, regrettably our flights delayed. We were disenchanted the flights were delayed since we were carrying two children. We were unsure how they will react staying at the airport longer than expected. Thankfully, the kids behaved. If we knew sooner, we could have stayed longer at the hotel relaxing or swimming with the kids.Even though it delayed, the airlines ended up compensating us with free meal vouchers (to be used at the airport) and $100 future travel credit.Thank you Alaska Airlines for your sincerity. We appreciate it.
Much better than American. Staff is nice and courteous. Still some room for improvement.
I could not drive to Vegas any more affordably than flying Alaska. Seating was a tight.
Great experience. Lovely staff.
Alaska Airlines RAWKS! Flying pretty much sucks these days. Alaskas great service takes a lot of the suck out of air travel.
Having traveled in First Class twice a week for over 3 yrs before, I know what to expect when flying. First class on Alaska, leaves a lot to be desired. One of the issues, on a 6 hour flight they practically starved us in first class. We were not offered any drink or complimentary items at all. The only available food was a small half sandwich.Something always go wrong on every flight. Plane late, or delayed departure, or sudden change in scheduling, or mediocre snack; problems with Alaska every time. When I wrote to Alaska customer service they said they are trying to keep cost down. They forget that people pay several times higher fairs to sit in first class for comfort and all those amenities but they are not providing them.On this occasion not coffee or hot drinks were offered, not even a welcome onboard juice or anything. And the seats have been tightened up to accommodate more passengers in First Class so you have reduced leg room and not that comfortable new seats. Not to mention it’s a bring your own hand held iPad to the plane to watch any movies. If you did not have a hand held device, you may be sitting at 39,000 ft watching the sky go by.On another occasion Alaska left our luggage in the rain, items became soaked in rain water but when we called them to express our displeasure, they ignored our call. They promised to call back but they never did since December 2018. They must be vey busy dealing with many complaints. And at Alaska Boston Logan boarding location at terminal C and the gates C40-C42 area are very dated, the standards and amenities are none existent, worse I have seen. Very small area, with practically no food to eat. You will have to come out of security area and find food. Check-in was ok, but the plane was delayed yet again. Flight delays seem to be regular occurrence on Alaska Airlines
The airline cancelled my flight, rebooked me on a later flight sitting in a middle seat ( I assume this is due to the flight I booked not being full enough). I paid extra to pick an aisle seat. Cost me 5 hours and discomfort of a middle seat. I booked this flight due to the departure time I wanted. I feel cheated.
Ever since they merged/bought Virigin Air, the service has been absolutely terrible. I arrived 10 mins before the flight was scheduled to take off and they wouldnt help me get on the plane. The plane sat there at the gate while the counter agent wrote me a new ticket for tomorrow. the plane was still sitting at the gate. They could have helped me out and walked me down to the plane like 30 feet but instead I get to book a hotel and come back tomorrow. Theres just no reason to fly this airline any longer. A lot of the planes I fly now feel like broken down, bought for half price Virgin Air planes that they dont even know how to maintain properly. The interior cabins are just strange now. Never flying this airline again (Id rather fly United).
Our experience with Alaska airline was not good. 7/4/18 We were waiting for our flight from Las Vegas to sfo. while waiting in the waiting area we noticed one of the employee was carry our luggage on his shoulder he dropped our luggage on the floor to go talked to other employee and we were looking through the windows in the waiting area. When we finally arrived at the sfo airport got our luggage it was damage badly. When I filed a complaint to Alaska airline. I received an email for confirmation and it said we will contact you in a month. They did not contacted me so I decided to call them with the reference number I was given. I was on hold for an hour after someone got on the phone and said it not the right department I will transfer to the right department. I again waited around 30 minutes. They apologized and said we will send your complaint to the right department and they will get back to you in a week. They finally got back to me today 10/2/18 offering me a $50 discount on my next flight with them. I sent them an email to let them know I don’t want their discount because I would never fly with them again.
Biggest nonsense ever, made me go to one terminal just to announce after security that I have to switch to the international for a domestic flight . Now waiting in line with 1mio other people that travel internationally to do my second round of security check for the day. No communication via email or other communication channels, if I would have watched the screen would sill be waiting at the other terminal and missed my flight. Never ever Alaska again.
We thought if you are disabled they will prioritised it. But it’s not. They make disabled people waited in line and they don’t care we missed our flight. There is another lady that has cane and hardly have her balance but they just give her a glimps and do nothing. SFO check in For Alaska airline you guys can do better for our disabled vets and elder people. So disappointed the way you guys treated the people that has disabilities. Hope one day you won’t get the same treatment when you guys are no longer capable of doing what normal people can do.
RIP Virgin America. The planes may be the same, but nothing else. Potential flyers: travel at your own risk. Alaska = Ryanair for Americans!
I flew with Alaskan for the first time today. I was so impressed, very comfortable modern plane, friendly staff and overall such a great experience.
Very friendly and helpful crew and staff.
Since moving to San Diego over a decade ago, Alaska has become my preferred airline. The combination of service, price, aircraft, crew attitude. We have flown them in Alaska, to and from Hawaii and with their partners to Europe, SE Asia.
Great service. Would fly again.
The staff made me really dissapoined! It seems that they have several uneducated workers who break the image of the whole company!
Thanks for not trying at all to be helpful, going United like I shouldve in the first place
Perfect!!
Our flight from Seattle to SF got delay for an hour and then we miss our next international flight.so disappointed with the airlines.they knew that we have to wait for 24 hours for our next flight, they suppose to help and manage like food and rooms too but they just ignored.very very worst experience with Alaska airlines....garbage airlines 😡😡😡😡
Easy in and out
Friendly staff
A huge cold and they have no blanket. All the films in English, there is no choice of other languages, I have traveled all over the world and I have never seen this. The headphones on a long and expensive flight charge them. Of course there is no punctuality, the masks have left themselves They have come to the airport to see and I dont know what else could happen. In any case, a company that lacks the basics
Two flights, both delayed. I do not like. I do not recommend it
Bad
