We had our tour a couple days ago, and tomorrow will be my daughters first day . Very nice experienced staff that made us feel very comfortable. My daughter is so excited.

Our twelve-year-old son is really enjoying his classes at the SWAMA studio. He gets an incredible workout each and every time he goes, plus he loves learning the many techniques. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the atmosphere of the studio is open, airy and pleasant.

SWAMA is the real deal. best place to help you physically. great people there, so motivating! was scared to join at first, but they all motivated me to go. recommend 10/10

SWAMA is the real deal. I was hesitant to join but I knew several people who joined before me and were raving about it. I figured I had to try it for myself. I was not disappointed. This place not only takes your training serious, but they ensure you feel like youre part of a real training family. The masters here are funny, outgoing, and most importantly very knowledgeable martial artist. I love it here and I think anyone who gives it a try would too.

I am so happy to have found SWAMA. Each class is different and very engaging. The instructors are passionate about the sport and are excellent teachers. Swama has been absolutely amazing. It has changed my life. Master Mario and his apprentice Diego really know what they’re doing. Ive never been to a martial arts gym this good, and for such a reasonable price.Both Master Victor and Master Mario are super knowledgeable, experienced and professional. Also, they really care about their students. They run kids classes, online classes, adult classes etc. for beginners or fighters holding national titles. Youll get in shape for sure, but also learn great technique. You have to check out SWAMA!

I was excited to do classes here and the owner seemed really nice and caring. Health issues came up for me not even a week after I signed up and I informed them that I couldnt continue. I never even got to use my equipment or do a class. They proceeded to take more money from me and are refusing to answer my calls or emails. I had an uneasy feeling about this place but now its confirmed. Completely unprofessional and manipulative. Unfortunately for them Im not someone who just takes things. Legal action will be taken against them. I just dont want anyone else to trust such a business that preys on someone. Theres so many of these gyms around san diego. AVOID THIS PLACE.

You got a lot for your money at this gym. It’s a very family Friendly and centered environment. They care about the kids well being. I instantly felt welcomed the very first time I walked in. The onwers are very organized and make scheduling classes very easy. I recommend signing your kids up

Top notch martial arts academy ! Instructors are well trained in muiltible martial arts . They also are very patient with my 4 year old.

We had an amazing tour. Not knowing anything about the place, we went in there blind. We were greeted with such respect and enthusiasm! We were made to feel like family right away. Atmosphere was phenomenal and questions were answered perfectly. I can’t wait to train here.

I wasnt surprised that Id have a blast training. Master B and master Mario are very kind and friendly. I received tips in real time that allowed but to adjust my form and working on habits I previously picked up before joining this family!! Cant wait to continue my journey!

I started with SWAMA in Jan; training Tues and Thurs evenings. Typical trainer is Diego, and I have nothing but the best to say about him. If you want a hard workout, and to be pushed to your max then this is the place for you.

Ive been training with Grand-master Beltran for 2 1/2 years now and all i can say is theres no one else out there that will push you beyond your limits more than Beltran would. Beltran is a very wise instructor and is a very helpful man that can help you train hard and have fun at the same time. Beltran knows how to train people hard but he also helps guide us the teenagers and kids to have a successful life. Me as a teenager have had a lot of advice from Beltran and all i can say about that is it has helped me a lot not only in martial arts, but also in school and in life. i strongly recommend boxing zone, its a great place to train and to learn.

If you ever want to experience the confusion between joy and pain at the same time, this is it!!! The staff is freaking awesome! Master Beltran, Master Mario and Diego! Ive trained under the instruction of these three and I have had to push myself everytime. When I first got there the energy and the manner in which I was received was great. I was sitting on the sideline watching the class that was before me and Diego introduced himself and welcomed me. Everytime I step on that mat, I know for a fact that Im challenging myself in a different way and its an exciting feeling. This is not a place you walk into and just walk out, youre bound to spark some conversation after and very likely make new acquaintances or friends. It is a very family oriented and non judgemental space. I could go on about all the great qualities of the staff and even the students, but thatd require more pages. If you didnt read most of what I wrote, read this....TAKE A CLASS THERE!!! Master Beltran and I trained together when we were kids back in Playas de Tijuana. My son enjoys his classes which he receives under the patient care of maestreo Mario. My wife and love the environment at the school, everyone is curteous and respectful. Also, Maestro Beltran really listens to your goals and concerns and tailors a training plan based on his students needs.

Yesterday was my first day at SWAMA and I loved the intense training. I was out of breath due to my asthma and my dehydration and my coach allowed me to regain my balance and continue working. This place is wonderful and I loved the family atmosphere that I have when I work there.

Very good school, my son is very happy to attend ... excellent place, super recommended
