Any boat can go out in the ocean and possibly catch some fish. They all have something you can eat and a crew to help out when needed...this time was a bit different. The amazing and gourmet food on the lo Ann comes prepared by Raul, the king of ocean chefs. Im not talking another lame cheeseburger on the ocean. Im talking fat shrimp and grits with asparagus, or fancy grilled ham n cheese w pineapple for lunch.The crew are always up to help you learn and share their vast knowledge of the sport with us lesser sea wise new fisherman.The captain was relentless in hunting down school after school of bluefin tuna, of which we returned victoriously...loaded down with over a literal ton of tuna in the holds!Every man got to go home with 2 beautiful bluefin tuna...even the poor guys too sea sick to fish went home with a trophy.Largest bluefin of our trip was 195 lbs!I am overjoyed with my freezer full of sexy sushi!Now this boat is not cheap to go on, but...If you are wondering if its worth it for the money and if you should try it out, just go for it!!!! You will have a great trip with these guys.Tell them Rooster sent you for some extra love!

Great Crew and Boat. We did a 1.5 day on 4.27.18. The crew was great and Captain Marcus put us on the Bluefin. The food was really good and beds were nice and clean. Definetly will go again on this boat. Keep up the good work guys.

#1 fishing boat in SD. Capt Markus have great crew on board with clean shower, galley and bunk. Boat is a bit small however if you want to catch fish (tuna) this is the boat.

Went on a 2 day private charter last week and was thoroughly impressed. I highly recommend this boat and the captain along with his crew were top notch. They helped my Dad and I hook fish and kept a very well run boat. We caught several nice AHI Tuna. If you are looking for a solid boat that produces results this one is a winner. Awesome trip

These guys are as good as it gets.17 of us rented the boat for a private trip and they blew us away.Two days and 115 YFT and BFT tuna later we were worn out.Although a lot of our crew were professional charter guys, we did not know much about BFT and YFT and Adam, Craig, Frank, and Kane did a phenomenal job of teaching us.The best crew, boat, and fishing.We are already planning our trip for next year and cant wait.

Ive tried (every) overnight boat in point loma. ive encountered a few boat personnel that werent even smart enough to consider any return business or a bad review. THE NEW LO AN (was not) one of those. i caught 5 tunas this trip 8/26/18, but really it was just icing on the cake. for a cattle boat, they really were a step above, treating paying customers like cattle. personnel change, which means boat ratings can change like the weather. currently THE NEW LO AN is on top of the list

Fished last Sunday on an overnight trip on the New Lo An with Captain Marcus Medak. Bunks were spacious and clean, galley food was great, all deck hands very helpful and friendly to all. We caught Bluefin Tuna on flylined sardines and crew helped with each fish making sure any crossed lines or tangles were cleared timely to prevent any lost fish or ruffled tempers! Fish were filleted expertly so we could take home the maximum yield of sashimi grade tuna from each fish. When it came time for paying our galley tabs the crew was very appreciative that we chose to ride the New lo An and did not pressure us on the tip decision. Excellent trip, excellent service, clean boat and a great crew. Highly recommend the New Lo An!
