This company was so amazing to deal with. My brother in law and step dad did a private 6 hour trip and loved it. They both said they would go back out with them again. Thank you for making there day awesome. The fish was sooo tasty as well.

Had a super awesome time other than me getting a little sea sick . We caught a decent amount of rock fish. About 1/2 hour before our trip was over the bigger fish starting hitting . We caught 14 lbs of fish overall and captain and deck hand were super knowledgeable, and helpful. Would definitely book this charter and crew again . Thanks

Captain Leng was great took us to some great spots taught us how to land a few fish and was cool in general. All customer service reps were willing to work with us also since day one even when we ran into issues they went above and beyond to help will definitely book with them again!

Unfortunatley, our captian started out the day 1 hr late. That is our ONLY complaint! The guy more than made up for it. He worked his tail off for us the rest of the trip. If the fish were not biting, we were on the move. Good attitude, and hard working. Great job fileting our catch. I would not hesitate to book with him again.

We had a blast out on the water with Captain Leng on the Kracken. We had some fishing experience already, so he gave us advice but wasn’t watching over our shoulders the whole time. He got us on a bunch of Rock Cod that we learned are some of the best for eating. He offered to filet them for us but also recommended using Sportsman’s Seafood right at the dock to fillet and vacuum seal our fish. They did a great job, and it was very affordable. We look forward to another trip with Captain Leng and the Kracken!

Captain Leng and Chris were tremendous. We went on a three hour trip and they were amazing. Fishing was very good and they were patient, enthusiastic and knowledgable. I would highly recommend them and we plan to use them again in the fall.

I booked a half day for my boyfriends birthday and it was honestly the best experience we could’ve asked for. We had captain Thomas and Chris on board with us and they made the experience just delightful. Very patient and informative, taught us all how to fish effortlessly and none of us had ever fished before. Also very fun to hangout with. I highly recommend going on this adventure with them, and we definitely will be returning.Thanks again!

I highly recommend coming out on this boat. booking the trip was very easy. The location is perfect. Parking was safe and free. The vessel is a fantastic fishing machine. Captain James was very knowledgeable of fishing . He knew where we were going to go what kind of fish would be more than likely be catching. rigged up our rods for us. Gave us some instructions on the best techniques and set us up for complete success. We caught so many nice size quality fish. Are fish for were filleted for us before we returned home back to port. My group and I have already booked several more trips to come out and fish with the Kraken again. The fresh fish tacos that we made when we got home we were incredible! I wish restaurants sold fish that taste that fresh.

This charter was awesome! Captain Andy and Roland were very professional and a lot of fun. They put us right in the fish and had the tackle and knowledge to help us land the catch. I’ve never tripled up before and landed all three on light line! This charter was the best and would highly recommend. We will be back!

Went fishing with 5 other buddies on the Cali Tuna boat. We had a great time and the crew on the boat was great, very helpful and great knowledge of what had to be done to get fish on the boat.... I rate the trip a 4.5 of 5 star only because of the miscommunication on the fish cleaning... We thought the fish cleaning was going to be done by the crew but we didn’t ask till we dock back in and by then it was to late.... I don’t know if that’s normal or not but next time I will say something as soon we are done fishing .... Thank you for a great experience. I will book another trip again.

We had a great trip yesterday with Captian Leng and Captain Andy. Both are super experienced members. They kept putting us on schools and finding tuna spots for us. Ive never fished in my life and this experience was absolutely great, the captain was the coolest dude. We caught 40+ fishes (5 people), didnt get to keep any, cause all were out of season or too small (January is apparently not the best time for this), but still was a lot of fun!We also saw whales and packs of dolphins and seals kept swinging by once in while.

The captain was nice and the boat was adequate but this was not the trip we thought it was going to be. We only caught one type of fish and there were enough for everyone to take some but no variety and ran out of bait. It was pretty disappointing since we came a long way and it was worded like we would be fishing areas with plenty of variety of species.

So we aren’t new to fishing and saw the reviews on this boat and figured we would give them a try. The first thing is our original captain Leng was swapped out for Clint. Normally not a big deal. Clint was a nice guy bit definitely no Fishing captain. We spent the whole day trolling only stopping to fish twice out of 12 hours?! No bites, no fish, nothing... turned out to be a $1850 boat ride. Our trip was supposed to be 16hrs but was cut short due to all the bait dying (the bait pump broke) and engine problems (which we had to tell him what was wrong with the boat cause he had no clue. The boat ran low on oil Causing it to sputter and misfire, which tells me over all they do not take care of this boat) You couldn’t pay me to get back on that boat. The silver lining to it all was Nick had great customer service. Our original tab was $2300 so we lost 25% of our trip he discounted it 20% little upset about that but wasn’t worth arguing over $120. My reco is find yourself a different boat to charter.... not worth your time and definitely not worth the money!

Had a real awesome time on the kraken! Maxed out and Capt. Lang was a great help and awesome all around. I got canceled on the last minute, but the other party made it worthwhile. Can’t wait to hit the sea again, and will definitely be choosing Kraken. Smooth ride, spacious, and a beautiful boat.

I had an amazing fishing experience the captain was really helpful he was showing me how to fish since I lack on experience. This is my third time fishing on a boat and I got to say that this has been the best trip I had. My first experience was at Cabos and then in Ensenada, but i didnt get enough support like how I did this time. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back. I had a really good time fishing and caught a good amount of fish myself.

Captain Leng and Chris were awesome. Put us right in the fish and gave us tips along the way. Would recommend 10/10 over large charters.

Captain Leng is a fantastic fisherman! He knew the spots and we caught 48 fishes. He made the whole trip very enjoyable and fun! Highly recommended, will not disappoint.

Awesome experience, great captain, great fish! We caught a yellowtail, rock cod, white fish, sheep head, and striped bass!

Captain Leng and deckhand Chris were great! We took my family out for a 10 hour trip for my wifes birthday. Capt. Leng put us on the fish for some large rockfish and lingcod. This was our first time doing a private charter and we are sold. Will definitely be doing another and requesting captain Leng.

I took my girlfriend on this private fishing charter and it was everything we could’ve hoped for. Ive been on this charter twice now,first with captain leng and the 2nd time with Capt clint and could not have been more satisfied with both captain leng and captain Clint. Both were very knowledgeable and were extremely accommodating while we were fishing. We had some novice first timers in our group and clint was very patient with us while teaching us along the way. They both had a very chill vibe and made it their goal for us to catch fish and have a good time. We were hooked on a ton of fish constantly and caught enough to feed a small village. Thank you Clint and leng for a great experience.

Wonderful experience!!! I had the opportunity to attend the charter with Captain Leng on November 10th. Captain Leng went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. He even prepared my fish at the dock!!!! We caught a wide variety of fish during the charter. I would definitely do business with this charter company again.

This is the best bang for your buck you will get! The trip was awesome, there was two of us and we both caught a ton of fish and had a great experience. Driving our boat was Captain Leng. The boat was a bit small although it did its job well. The boat had a small bathroom and a small inside area, but besides that the rest of the seating was outside and comfortable. Captain Leng was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. When it was time to fishing he put us on the fish. Our boat had 3 groups of 2 and we caught enough fish for each group to bring home 15 fish. We found their offer on Groupon but booked directly through them. After this trip we will definitely be back and hope that others can have this same amazing experience.

Great 6hr fishing trip! Captain Leng was exceptional! He knew all the spots. The small fish were biting more than the big fish so we switched locations a few times. Never really able to hit the mother load, but my son caught his first fish, and everyone on the boat did pretty well, and took home enough.IMG_1183.jpeg

Went on a local fishing trip for my dads birthday, we had a great time, we left early and fished half the day, the captain was great, boat accomadates a group of 6 people fishing easily, we caught a couple of rockfish overall great time.

I booked an 8 hour trip to the Coronado Island on a private charter for my buddies bachelor party. Leng, who was our captain was very informative and helpful. He’s been in different parts of the world to fish so he knows a thing or two about fishing. The 4 of us were novice anglers, so Captain Leng strung, tied and got our fishing rods all ready for us. He wanted to make sure we got the best time out of our 8 hours, so he practically did all the hard and dirty work for us. Now that’s what you call a spectacular captain right there!Upon our decedent to the Coronada Island, we ran into some bad weather conditions which kept us away from destination. Captain Leng didn’t want to endanger our lives since there was a boat not to far away from us that capsized due to the poor weather conditions. He slowly and safely sailed us back to the calm water where we then began dropping our lines for some halibut. Didn’t have much luck catching any halibuts, but he did find a nesting ground for rockfish where we caught a bunch of them within a short period of time. Overall, the fishing trip was a success and it was all thanks to Captain Leng! Thanks again for allowing us to be apart of your sea crew. Until next time!
