I guess it’s never convenient when your computer stops working but this was especially a tough time to have it stop working. I was worried about how much it would be or if I would have to buy a new computer.I called before business hours but still received a text right away asking me how they can help me. I really liked the communication through text even though they were closed. I brought it in and was greeted in a friendly way. They were able to diagnose the issue right away and give me a price of what it would cost. The quote was super affordable for me and I was also happy they could just fix my computer without buying a new one. My computer was ready the next day before 11am! They were able to transfer all my data so I did not lose anything. They charged me exactly what I was expecting, no surprises.I am so happy that I found a fast and affordable computer repair. This place was great, they got my computer out of recovery mode and salvaged all the data I wanted to keep as well, in only 1hr! Took my laptop in to have more RAM put in, cause mine has 4GB and I need at least 8, but going for 16. The lady I talked too was friendly and polite. The only downside is that its going to take a couple days for my RAM to come in, but worth it to me.

Ive gone here thrice. The first, for a diagnosis and later a motherboard replacement. I have not had a single problem with the function of the motherboard since then. The second time was with a surface. It was a simple screen replacement, went off without a hitch immediately. As it turns out the part was faulty. I took it back, and he replaced it with a screen from a different company. He did not ask for a payment, and replaced it quickly. The new screen has had no problems thus far. Wow. Great service. I wont go too deep into the story about the massive company that sells the product I needed help with treating me as if I were a criminal or something. Bottom line, that company doesnt want to service their machines or help customers at all. They would rather you go somewhere else. Well, I wish I had gone to SD Computer Repair before I wasted my time and energy at the flagship store at the mall. The owner and his wife were super helpful, kind and even stayed after closing to help me out. Truly what customer service is about. I suspected the hard drive in my iMac had crashed and in fact it had. Within 1 day it was official diagnosed, and in another day it was ready for pick up. I liked that the replacement recommendations were appropriate. For example instead of suggesting to replace with 1TB hard drive the recommendation was based on the amount of space the original hard drive had used so a 500 GB hard drive was installed. A bonus was the ability to retrieve all the data from the old drive. Everything was fast, very very very reasonably priced and professional. We were also educated about daily operations to keep our computer in the best operating condition. Thanks so much SD Computer Repair!!

The screen on my HP Envy 15t began flickering one day and half of the display would occasionally black out. I would have to squeeze the hinge area and move the display back and forth until the problem went away... but only temporarily. Eventually, 2/3 of the screen wouldnt display anything at all so I knew I had to seek help.Yelp led me to Sam and SD Computer Repair and I could not be happier with the experience. I brought the laptop in during my lunch break and Sam took one look at it and immediately knew what the issue was - the cables connected to the display ran through the hinged area and thus were prone to cracking after years of opening and closing the lid. He opened the laptop up, removed the screen and showed me damaged cables. He told me how much a replacement display would cost, encouraged me to look around to see if I could find a better deal in case I wasnt sure, and said he could order it for me and once it arrived in a couple days, have it installed right away. After some quick Googling, I was very comfortable with his pricing.The day the new screen arrived, Sam called me and said he could install it any time I wanted to stop by the store. I stopped by on my lunch break again and everything was taken care of in less than 15 minutes. Overall, the price was at least $70 lower than the next 3 competitors on Yelp and the professionalism, friendliness and honesty that Sam displayed made me a loyal customer. If anything happens to my phone or laptop in the future, I will definitely be coming back.

Fast friendly and quality work, excellent service and its guaranteed. Price was very reasonable $30 to fix my iPhone 6+ glass. I started to do it myself but the replacement glass had 2 cables and the iPhone has 4. The video and instructions didnt mention this. Instead of risking damaging the parts I need from old screen, Sam did it professionally and quickly. Very happy, good decision, looks brand new.

Very quick and efficient service. I needed a charging port replaced on my laptop. They gave me a quote on spot and even gave me the option to keep my device until they got the part in. It took around 4 days to complete so very fast!! I just received my computer back, and I hope it doesnt break again. Excellent service and quick turn around! My computer would not boot due to inability to find the operating system.
