Jack was very accommodating and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. The car was in good condition so we have no complaints!

I HAD MY PURSE AND CELL PHONE IN THE RENTAL CAR, ALL MY BABY STUFF FOR THE HOSPITAL SINCE I RENTED THE CAR SO I WOULD BE ABLE TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL. JACK IS THE NAME OF THIS CROOK WHO RENTED ME A CAR AND STOLE IT FROM ME. KEPT MY BELONGINGS FOR 5 DAYS EVEN WITH THE KNOWLEDGE I HAD ACTUALLY WENT INTO LABOR AFTER HAVING TO WALK 3.5 MILES FROM WHERE THE RENTAL CAR WAS STOLEN FROM. THE 3.5 MILE WALK TO A SPOT WHERE I COULD BORROW A PHONE TO CALL A CAB IF YOU READ THERE ARE OTHER REVIEWS ABOUT JACK DOING THIS SAME SCAM TO OTHERS.THIS RUINED MY WHOLE EXPERIENCE OF HAVING MY FIRST CHILD......

This guy Jack is an all around scam.Trust me people, most of the good reviews are from himself, makes his employees post a good review, and son, family and friends.Do your homework people, its all bs to legally rob you of your moneys.Dont believe me, go for it

Terrible experience. We had an accident and he didn’t help us at all. We had been waiting for him for 5 hours in the middle of nowhere and he was shouting at us every time we called him. We finally had to call the cups to rescue us and he didn’t give us the deposit back even when we return the car in perfect conditions.

I dont know where to begin to tell you what a pleasure it was doing business with SD Van & Car Rental. I was planning my sons trip to California who is just shy of 25 and unaware that most of that most of the branded car rental compays charge an upcharge for drivers under 25. As looking up local car rentals in San Diego I came across SD Vans and car rentals. I was a bit apprehensive but I hit the jackpot. I called up and the manager Jack was so pleasant and assured me there was no problem reserving my son a car. I gave his information an a deposit to reserve the car and his insurance information and flight information. Jack assured me he would pick up him up at the airport. Of course being a worried mom I called Jack many times and he said Dont worry miss Carol, I know your son is the King! My son arrived and Jack was right there at the airport and my son said good job mom, Jack is Awesome!! My husband and I plan on going to San Diego this fall and would go to No other place than SD Vans and Car Rentals! Hats off to Jack and his crew!!!!

Car was great! Jack was extremely personal, kept in contact with us all the way til Landing in San Diego, picked us up, and dropped us off afterwards. Great service all around....definitely recommend!

He rented me a dirty car with baby toys and stinky bottle and rented me a car with fake tags on it, he took a $200 deposit and said I drove 3,000 miles in one week and that was not true he scam me for my deposit, I wouldnt recommend this place at all, he pushed my husband out the office and screamed at us, they are rude and disrespectful, trust me find somewhere else to rent

Watch out guys, if you rent a car with this guy you are very likely to be scammed. He gave us a bad car (we almost have an accident because of it) and then he was not responsible at all, he also kept all the money of our deposit (he said he would give it to us but never did). The name of the guy is Jack.

I give this place 1 star because I cant give it less. The owner isnt trustworthy, he will invent any excuse to steal your deposit, as he did to me and my friends. DONT TRUST HIM.
