Had the pleasure of going out for a few hours on the Nerissa with my entire family. From the moment we left the dock, the staff made our family feel at home and were very attentive to our needs. Between the open bar (which made plenty of virgin drinks) and the Captian taking us to see the sea life to take great photos, we had a blast. We chartered the Nerissa on Friday to get people together the day before our wedding. We had almost 30 people and it could not have been a better experience! The boat was amazing, beautifully renovated and was perfect for a 3 hour excursion. We opted for the $30 all-inclusive drinks and the bartender and all staff made sure that we had everything we needed. Shari also worked with me to get a very nice charcuterie board delivered to the boat which was more than enough for our group to snack on throughout the trip. All-in-all, it wasn’t cheap but more than worth every penny. Thanks Zolna Yachts team!

The Zolna Yacht crew gave my wife a luxurious cruise experience for her recent birthday! She couldn’t stop talking about it! My husband and I booked a stay aboard the Hula Kai for our 16th anniversary and I must admit, it was one of the best vacations we have taken. Shari and Amos are about the nicest people we have ever dealt with. The yacht was absolutely beautiful, very well taken care of. The scenery was amazing and theres nothing like being rocked softly to sleep at night and waking to the cool ocean breeze with the sounds of sea gulls and buoys. There’s nothing like being surrounded by your loved ones and an experienced crew that knows how to make your trip even better.For food, we had Cucina Migrante and it was fantastic because they even set the food up prior to arriving which saved me time and effort.Not sure about your guests and how much they drink but we purchased the all-you-can-drink package. I suggest paying for the all-you-can-drink package because your guests will appreciate the hospitality on your end. For example: it’s like going to a wedding. EVERYONE appreciates the wedding with the open bar WAY more. Lastly, please be sure to tip the bartender(s) because they work really hard.All in all, I will definitely book again and will keep Zolna Yachts in mind for future events, not only for a bachelor party.

My friends and I had a blast on the Ohana charter! The boat was clean, well maintained, and spacious. Captain Clint really knows his way around the San Diego bay/harbor, and navigated with ease the entire time. My friends and I were hanging out in different parts of the boat for the first few hours before we all collectively joined on the top bunker, yet Joann was attentive and catered to all of us. She brought us drinks, towels, and anything else we requested. She also took a ton of photos, and airdropped them to each and every one of us. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay on a beautiful yacht? We loved the experience—it was hard to leave the yacht to go do things, we just wanted to stay on it and enjoy the beautiful harbor view! The owners were so nice with excellent customer service—even offered to pick us up from the airport!

Please save yourself time and money and stay away from this company. My pregnant wife and I planned a “baby moon” getaway on one of their house boats. We confirmed months ago and were so excited. We even spoke to the owner Amos over the phone who assured everything was ready. Just days before our trip, we receive an impersonal email saying our trip was cancelled. When I called Amos, he said the boat plumbing wasn’t working and that he had to cancel. We calmly asked for another weekend and he refused. He said the boat was actually being sold. Not sure what the truth is here, but he offered no solution to the problem. Please save your time and money and go elsewhere. Very bad experience.

Had an amazing stay on their houseboat. Shari made sure everything was perfect, and let us know if we needed anything during our stay to contact her. Definitely recommend this unique alternative to a traditional hotel. We hope to stay again during our next visit. The boat is beautiful and very clean. The neighbors in the other slips were friendly and not noisy at all. We had rain and being from Arizona, I loved it! Very soothing being on the boat during a rainy spring day!

This was an amazing experience. We partied hearty and had such a great time. The Yacht was very clean and Covid aware, making us put everything away and getting things as needed. The bartender was outstanding and the food was delicious and the boat was cleaned immediately all throughout the entire voyage. The staff were knowledgeable about the area we were going through and San Diegos waterfront area is way over the top, with lots of things to see, from the navel base, Hotel del Coronado and the skyline. I highly recommend this company to anyone that is considering a fantastic boat tour.

We had a total luxury experience using Zolna Yachts for a recent corporate event. The San Diego views were gorgeous and Shari’s team gave us a 5 star experience. It all kicked off with sunset views and a champagne toast and just got more fun as the night went on! The bartender made delicious, fresh drinks and the catering was not only tasting but was attentive to dietary restrictions, which made each guest feel VERY well taken care of. We were able to DJ ourselves to set the atmosphere and keep the group dancing until we pulled back in. We’ll definitely use Zolna Yachts again.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I live on the East Coast and when my cousin died in San Diego in March, I was frustrated because I knew she wanted her ashes scattered in the bay. Then I was told about Zolna Yachts and that they were offering this service for free. They called me to make final arrangements; they worked closely with my friend in San Diego to set up the trip; they read a prayer I sent them ; and video taped it for me. All of this was done professionally and with much kindness. God bless.

One of the best experiences of our lifetime… Spending time in the beautiful weather of San Diego on a pristine very livable Houseboat in one of the friendliest marinas ever! It was an amazing week of social distancing/wearing a mask when necessary in our Covid time. Kayaking… Paddle boarding… Adding some more Covid pounds with good food and drink on a fully equipped boat…Sheri and Amos saw that everything was in order and they were super hosts.

We throw one really special party per year for our best clients, and this year we had it on Zolna yachts on the Nerissa yacht. It was an INCREDIBLE experience and all the guests said it was the best party we have ever thrown. Stayed with Shari and Amos for two weeks on the wonderful Hula Kai. The yacht was clean, very spacious, and the two staterooms with showers had good water pressure and hot water! The marina, even though close to the airport, was quiet and calm. The facilities (Laundry, shower, and land toilets) were clean and nearby. I couldnt have asked for a better stay and will definitely do it again!

Suite Paradise Houseboat is absolutely my favorite place to stay, when I’m in San Diego! It is bright, sunny, clean, easy to get on and off and such a fun location. The Sheraton resort access is a big vacation plus. If you like people watching, the one way windows or the back porch are great entertainment. It is comfortable and has every amenity you can imagine. This is the perfect San Diego vacation on the water.

I had one of the best nights Ive had in San Diego in 8 years of visiting to speak at a major marketing conference conference last week. We were on board the Nerissa at a party hosted by Shari (our Captain) for Sue B Zimmermans community. The food, staff were amazing - the barman/mixologist was entertaining and the chef execeptional. Such a happy vibe and fabulous views of the harbour. And the yacht was 5 star in all aspects right down to the bathrooms!. If I didnt live in Australia I would be planning plenty of parties and days out on vessels handled by Zolna yachts. But if you are visiting San Diego, then definitely book the Nerissa for your amazing team, community or clients. Youll have one of your best days/nights out on the water!

We just got married on Zolna Yachts Nerissa on October 12, and we couldnt be more pleased! The yacht is absolutely beautiful and meticulously maintained. Our corporate group of 26 enjoyed the Nerissa in October, 2018. The ship is beautiful, immaculate and the crew very helpful and friendly. We sailed San Diego harbor on a sunny afternoon for three hours and had a wonderful lunch on board. Best of all they were able to dock near the Hotel del Coronado saving the corporation money and time to not have to transfer the to another dock. So cooperative and accommodating. Sure to impress you high end clients.

I was looking for an alternative to staying in yet more hotel rooms on a vacation. I was lucky to find Zolna Yacht Charters through a search and Im so glad we did. Amos was super helpful with our correspondence I had prior to our scheduled date. He was very flexible and accommodating. All of the little details they take care of made our tour amazing.Shari and Amos were very welcoming and their attention to detail was so helpful. The level of service and friendliness completely blew us away. The accommodation was perfect for our group of four and the amenities were plentiful and clean.The boat tour was the highlight of our stay, and a must do thing when visiting San Diego. I would definitely recommend staying on one of their yachts or houseboats when visiting this lovely city, it is very comparable in price to a good hotel, with a lot more to offer as a relaxing experience.

This was my 3rd stay on a Zolna Yacht in the past 2 years. I discovered them when looking for a condo as an alternative to a hotel for a business trip. Ive become totally hooked. As a frequent business traveler, staying on the boat is absolutely the most relaxing and enjoyable way to go. The accommodations are far more enjoying than the standard hotel room. The cruise is a must, never getting old. Amos and Shari provide the hospitality youd expect at a New England B and B (well, minus the breakfast :-) . For business, pleasure, or a mix, try a stay on a Zolna Yacht. You wont regret it.

What a way to start 2019! We went out into San Diego Bay on a pristine day on the Ohana Pacific and some friends. Went far enough out to look for whales, then settled for some sun-basking sea lions and dolphins feeding by the naval base. The captain navigated us through every type of sailboat - from Americas Cup class boats to speedy foils. Hospitality was first rate. I look forward to taking company colleagues out on the Nerissa this year as well.

I surprised my husband with a get away weekend from Park City, Utah on a fabulous stay on the Hula Kai. Second year in a row that we spent part of our vacation on a Zolna Yacht. Last year we stayed on the Ohana Pacific with our 2 girls and also did a harbour tour. It was definitely the highlight to the vacation. This year, just my wife and I went and stayed 4 nights on the Hula Kai. Another great experience. During both visits Amos and his wonderful wife were very friendly and hospitable. Cant wait for next year!

Zolna Yacht Charters is a perfect way to experience the sights of San Diego and the surrounding shoreline of the bay. Our experience with them has been great time after time. We have used them several times from harbor cruises to ash scattering to overnight stays. The boats are in immaculate condition and make for a much more personal experience than the other cattle call charters elsewhere. Amos & Shari (the owners) make you feel right at home with their charm and fun personalities. I organized a 3-hour harbor cruise for a group of 8 colleagues (plus myself) on the Hula Kai last week. Shari and Amos were fantastic to work with and the yacht was really amazing. Shari was a great hostess and created an unforgettable experience for us. I would definitely recommend them!

A perfect evening on the bay! What a great way to end a work day. We had a wonderful team building outing, and our visitors from Australia and New Zealand especially enjoyed it! Even the San Diego natives learned some new things - Amos and Shari are so knowledgeable, fun, and friendly. We will definitely be making this an annual event!

Enjoyed a 2-hour cruise on the Hula Kai hosted by some clients. Well-kept yacht, very friendly captain and 1st mate (Annabelle) and a beautiful evening all made for an excellent experience. My hosts had actually rented the yacht instead of a hotel for the weekend, which seemed like an awesome idea. My next trip to San Diego I may do the same.

Awesome owners and great location! I loved waking up on the ocean each morning. The marina is close to everything you could want in San Diego. We actually didnt rent a car and just Ubered everywhere we wanted to go! It was such a fun, unique San Diego trip :)

We have rented yachts from Zolna 3 times and each time had such a great time. Nothing better than to wake up in the morning and have a cup of coffee while watching all the boats in the marina. Already looking forward to the next trip to San Diego to rent another boat!

My husband and I rented the Zolna Yachts Suite Paradise Houseboat for 10 nights! What fun it was! The boat was clean and offered plenty of room and all the amenities with a wonderful view! The location was perfect...easy access to downtown San Diego and wonderful restaurants closeby! The Zolnas are easy to work with and really care about their guests. Thanks! We will be back!

Every year our label vendor Andrew takes us on a harbor cruise on Zolna Yachts, and I look forward to it all year! Amos and Shari are such amazing hosts on their beautiful ship. Amos takes us to new little alcoves around the San Diego harbor that Ive never explored, and he always has such fun facts to share. I highly suggest taking a trip with them for any occassion!

We enjoyed a relaxing four day stay on Hula Kai with our children. This was so much better than any hotel experience and the highlight was the cruise around the bay area. We cant wait to return!

My fiancee and I, who live here in SD, were looking for something different to do for my birthday this year, and man, were so happy we found Mr. Zolnas! He offered us a great rate on the lovely Villa San Juan boathouse for the weekend. It was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities. Beds and bedding were super comfortable, full kitchen had everything we needed to cook and relax, not to mention a great deck up top of the place. Heated pools to swim in, nice jacuzzi... I just loved it! I agree with some other reviewers, a hotel couldnt compare to this unique experience. Making this my B-Day plan each year here forward! Thank you so much, Amos! Wonderful host, wonderful villa, hated to go home.: )

Totally Disappointed!!! bathrooms smelled sewage, one bathroom had an extensive sewage issue which spoiled our vacation. I would not recommend this houseboat, it is definitely NOT as glamorous and luxurious as website claims. Should have more kitchen utensils, dishes, glasses and bath towels for guests that are staying for an extended period of time. Sits in the the harbor directly across the airport so you hear planes taking off and landing 6am til midnight. September 2018.

My husband and I had our intimate wedding on the Nerissa on St. Patrick’s day 2018 and it was absolute perfection. We live in Brooklyn, NY and Shari made the process stress free for us, even while living far away. We never visited in person or saw the boat live until 1 day prior to the wedding and it was everything she said it would be and more.Our families were impressed by the experience and commented that it was an unforgettable wedding because it was so different. We wanted high class and Shari delivered just that. Our pictures and videos are breath-taking, the service was superb, the catering Shari recommended was flawless with their execution and we all had an absolute blast celebrating our vows at sea.Following the 3 hour cruise filled with cocktails, appetizers, hors d’oeuvres, ceremony and dancing, we headed to the Grand Del Mar for dinner at the Addison. A limo picked us up right from the docks for easy transportation.My father was able to walk me down the dock to meet my husband so he was still able to “give me away” which served as a special and important moment for him.There isn’t a single thing that I would change about our special day and our decision to tie the knot aboard a Zolna yacht. I’m STILL impressed by Shari and the team and how every tiny detail was handled. She was so comforting, accommodating and responsive.We can’t wait to return to San Diego and rent the Nerissa again to celebrate an anniversary.Lots and lots of love for the Zolna Yacht team.

Wow! What a fantastic time we had aboard the Ohana Pacific! We booked the yacht for five nights and did three different cruises. The boat is beautiful and well appointed. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. Our cruises with Captains Amos and Sheri were nothing short of delightful. We saw dolphins, sea lions, sunsets and a spectacular naval armada returning to port after a nine month deployment! Seeing the sailors manning the rail as the aircraft carrier slowly rolled into the bay was awe inspiring. I wholeheartedly recommend Zolna Yachts.

We discovered Zolna Yachts by accident due to the fact that we had waited to make hotel reservations for an upcoming convention in San Diego. The Hotel room rates were ridiculous and we had three people we needed to make sure had rooms. Amos and Shari were fantastic in my prior conversations before booking, giving me all the necessary information. I suspected it was too good to be true, so I read up on all of the positive reviews and booked. The Hula Kia is a 56 foot Carver dream that has all of the comforts of home. The Marina is centrally located with wonderful services available also at the Hilton. The Marina is very peaceful and quite. We would book this again for sure. Also already planning to for next year. What a great weekend aboard the Mia-Tia, a beautiful yacht with all the service you could expect. Amos Zolna was friendly and professional and Captain Dan knew how to show us a good time.
