Justin did a fantastic job! I requested an undercut, which I havent gotten in quite some time... Ive been growing my hair out for 1+ months and it grew out of control. Justin had the eye to see past the forest that was growing on my head and execute what I requested. His cut was super clean and didnt have any loose ends.I just moved to San Diego and I was on the hunt for new barber. Its always difficult finding a new barber who you can trust.Justin is extremely friendly, honest (listens to your needs), and professional. I would highly recommend him or any of the other barbers for anyone looking to get a fresh cut, fade, hair style, etc. I will definitely be coming back.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to post a review for the shop. These guys are absolutely awesome, good positive energy every time I come in great decor, Reinan is a superb owner, positive attitude love getting my haircut done here and will continue to be here for years to come. My kids haircuts always turn out great! Justin is a great Barber as are the rest of the team. I’m super picky about my haircut and I get my kids cuts Twice a month and myself once a week. I came in by chance because I needed a cut and I couldnt make an appointment at the salon I go to, I was lucky they had an opening. Julian did a great job, very detailed, friendly, and efficient. I will come back for sure. Make sure you book an appointment.👍🏻

Please do not go to this shop if you have long hair. Perhaps it is just the barber I had who is inexperienced with long hair, but he represents the business itself. This store seems to give good fades as everyone around me received an excellent haircut, but I lost a year worth of growth, despite telling the barber I only wanted less than 1/4th inch cut. To make matters worse, he removed multiple inches of hair from only the -back- of my head, not the rest of it, effectively giving me a bob. I had basically 6 inches of hair on the top of my head, and less than 2 for the entirety of the back of my head, and had to go to a different barber to have him fix the cut so it will grow evenly again in the future. The other barber was quick to point out that the cut was uneven regardless and that I had many long hairs remaining on my neck. In regards to the cut itself, he called it a “hack job.” I was very proud of my long hair and this is quite possibly one of the worst professional experiences I’ve ever had, despite the barber being kind. To be completely honest with you, I’m emotionally devastated, and I miss my hair badly.

These guys are so friendly, and professional. They got my husband right in and gave us a great experience and him a fantastic haircut. We highly recommend and will be back

Look they are nice people and everything but this guy really butchered my hair. I’m a guy and I was in there for almost an hour and a half and it just seemed like this was his first time cutting hair. I had to leave and go to another barbershop.

This is by far the best barber shop I have ever been to. People always ask me where I get my haircut, and Im always proud to say Sovereign. The owner, Rennon, makes everyone feel like an old friend. The shop is comfortable, clean, and inviting. Theyve made several modifications to account for COVID. You can tell they take I seriously, without making anyone feel unwelcomed. Make sure to call ahead for an appointment, there is a reason they are usually booked out for a few days, theyre worth the wait.

Sovereign Barber Shop is one of the top shops in San Diego. It’s a new development, so everything looks new and modern. Every time I go there, there are full of happy people getting their haircuts, having a good time.The Barbers are all solid. You can tell they know their craft based on the time they take and the skills they use. The shop is diverse, and welcome anyone who wants a clean cut. You will feel comfortable going there, asking for any hairstyle.Me and my 8 year old son personally go to Rennan. He has taking care of us for the past 4 years with excellent cuts, great product recommendations and hairstyle suggestions.You will not be disappointed!!!
