Earlier this week I was browsing the OB neighborhood, hoping to find an apartment for what I thought was a sure job offer. I saw this shop and decided to stop there on a whim. Tony was able to squeeze me into his schedule, and gave me a great cut. What amazed me, and makes me a bit sad, is the vibe of the shop. The owner (sorry man I forgot your name!) was super friendly, and new everything about his clients. I grew up in the midwest, and have lived in SF for two years. I haven’t seen that level of nice, small town, midwest niceness in 2 years. It makes me sad I can’t be a part of the community now, but who knows what the future holds? I just hope places like Bubba’s are able to stay the same in the changing climate of California. Out of my 2 nights touring every neighborhood in San Diego, my experience here was easily my most memorable. I wish everyone in the shop the best for the future!

Everything and everyone at Bubbas is exceptional! Alex, Cody, Tony and Daren are super chill and cool as you know what! Daren cut my hair and it was excellent! GO TO BUBBAS you will leave HAPPY!

What a great experience, Went in on opening day. CODY is my barber, he did an awesome job. Exactly what I wanted. Im an old guy but like to keep up with the times. Everybody I have seen since has complimented on how great it looks. ALEX the owner is so welcoming and SERGIO the other barber created a masterpiece on one of his clients while we were there. All 3 of them have great spirits are knowledgeable and up with whats going on as the new trends appear. This place is so nice and clean, fully remodeled, Check it out, you wont be disappointing

Alex and the boys are all solid and super cool! Clean and chill atmosphere. Have checked out a few spots but this will be my go to for a long time. Take my 3 boys there also and they are always accommodating. Everyone always asks where I get their haircut.

Great place, they have beers, water, chocolate milk available and super friendly and professional staff. Recommend making a reservation, as the wait can be long.

Not a very professional barber shop. My husband waited for over 30 minutes before anyone even addressed him. Doesnt seem to take repeat customers seriously. Very disappointing.
