Minh is the best barber in SD that I have gone to. Good value. Much better than the standard barber shop and even the more expensive places. Chill vibe. Book ahead online. He is usually booked up a week or two out.

I was in hurry to have my haircut. The barber showed great professionalism and demonstrated his barbering skills. I was very impressed with his technique and was very happy with the final result. It only took 45 minutes. The service was great!

I scheduled an appointment for 1pm with Jose, he texted me at 11am to confirm the appointment, he then texts me at 11:50am (not even an hour later) telling me he’s canceling my appointment because “he’s not feeling well” I’m almost certain if you weren’t feeling well, you would have known that at 11. It’s your lose and someone else’s gain! Won’t ever try coming here again.

I came here with a few buddies to get cleaned up and we had a good time here. I had already had my hair cut so I just set up a moustache and beard trim. Roy did a kickass job lining me up and he even fixed my fade from the haircut I had got done back home before flying out. I loved the classic hip hop they were playing and the hip hop influenced atmosphere and decor, especially The Peanuts inspired piece with the lyrics to Commons The Light. The people here are great and they do good work. 100% would go again!

My first time here, got a sharp haircut for an occasion, love it. I learned to cut my own hair because I didnt like when sometimes barbers would give me haircut that they thought looks good and not what I wanted, or some talking me into a different haircut. So Ive been cutting my own hair for at least 15 years, doing what I want. Im very particular about fading and cut lines. Here I got exactly what I wanted, even better then expected. Definitely attention to detail. They guys are cool too. Great job, thanks.

I highly recommend this place and this is one of the greatest hair cut!! The employees are very friendly, and most importantly they are giving an honest opinion for how to take car of your hair as well.

I scheduled an appointment online for a haircut with a barber named Roy. He cancelled on the morning of the appointment due to car trouble about 2 hours before our appointment. He was able to reschedule for 8:00 am the next day. He did not show up to the appointment. I texted him after waiting for 20 minutes, he did not answer. I called him 5 minutes after that, there was no answer. I texted a second time after 40 minutes saying that we couldn’t wait any longer and he said that he got pulled over and couldn’t make it. Super unprofessional. I would leave 0 stars if I could.

Its not just a haircut, its an experience. They take extra time (and money) to make sure that every cut is perfect. Their barbers specialize in mens hair and it shows. Grab a beer, watch the game, and know you are going to leave looking nice and clean. Cuts come with a rinse and razor edges.

I heard a lot of good things about this place before checking it out, and my friends made it sound like too good to be true, but I gotta say I was not disappointed. Jeff made me look so sharp I almost cut myself just looking in the mirror. Went to get my hair cut and asked if they accepted walk-ins, a barber was just sitting on the couch said he was busy. Didn’t get my hair cut and will not be going back to the barbershop.

I have been seeing my barber for near 8 years, he’s been really the only person to cut my hair in that timeframe and I drove near and far, but distance and life for in the way and I needed a haircut bad. I was going months between cuts and for a man who was used to at least hanging out at a shop on the weekly this was unacceptable. In comes Cut & Dry to save the day from another month of ragamuffin hair. As apprehensive to go elsewhere, but I was I scrolled through his IG and was confident we would be on the same page. That’s sort of the new way to show work and not FB or even Yelp.I know a lot of shops are moving towards appointments, but it’s 2017 people, nothing against paying a porter for a high volume place, but people are savy, so do what they do and put it online. I was pleasantly surprise, actually relieved to see Cut & Dry had appointments as early as 6am because while you are all sleeping I’m getting stuff done.Joeferson the owner learned this style of offering early hours from his mentor in the bay, maybe it was also that Military life. Time is more valuable than money. It’s the only commodity, so not waiting is something that can’t be understated.It’s still dark and it’s raining, our cars are the only one’s in the parking lot. He waves me up and welcomes me in offering the complimentary beverage…if you’ve ever spent time in a barbershop this is key. I don’t normally do the whole wash mid cut, but it’s included. After some chatting we decided on taking half the length off the top and a little volume, mid taper the sides with a temple line up and round out the rear. It was a little more length than I wanted off the top, a little less volume and a little more taken off the sides, but the fade was great, the temple clean up, etc. This was more my fault because I’m used to let my usual barber do whatever he likes, he knows my hair and it’s “omakase” with him. I hope to one day get to that stage here, but all in all it was a great cut. My high part is a little more straight, but I was happy they use familiar clippers and styling products that I’m used to. Price is a little more than I’m used to and they are cash only. I’ll chalk that up to the wash and convenience of appointments. The coat rack is the cool hidden type, but I wish they had better waiting area seating even if they only use that in the afternoons. The post cut massage was a little weak, he kept getting woke to how used to things I was and I know my way around a shop. People always seem to underestimate the value of a good haircut.We hit it off right away vibing over his playlist selection and similar youth experiences and even some shared connections. They are getting busy and may need to hire and 3rd barber, but for now they do appointments early and walk ins in the afternoon. The décor is clean, but vibrant colored walls, nothing too flashy besides that. I’m not sure how often I’ll come here, but in any pinch they have made my list of trusted barbers.
