This barbershop is blatant in their gender discrimination. I am a woman and I came in for a haircut today and had at least three inches taken off all around. The problem was that I was overcharged for this service: $20. The store had signs with clear prices to their services, and listed long hair as $18. When I mentioned this to my barber, she and her fellow barber told me that price ($18) was for men. There’s no reason why the act of cutting long hair, whether it be on men or women, should be different. Therefore, the price for a haircut should be the exact same.

This was the only barbershop open in the area, as they are cutting hair outside. It was my first haircut there and they did a great job. I will go back there for future haircuts when my regular hair stylist is booked up or if we go back into higher level COVID containment. The wait can be little long but it’s worth the wait.

Great price ($11.99) for good quality haircuts. I and my boys get our hair cut here. The wait is minimal. You can wait for a specific barber or go to anyone available. There are TVs with sports to keep you entertained. And more importantly candy lollipops for kids.

My favorite barber shop. Reasonable price. Everyone is a talented barber, and is efficient with time. No need to take a number when theres people waiting. Just find a spot on the bench and they will get to you soon. If you have a barber that you prefer, sit in front and say whats up to them. Personally, i never have enough time to wait for a specific barber. Ive been a patron long enough to have had a haircut from each one, they are all legit af. Dont forget to tip.

I have been comming here since I was a teenager attending MCHS. Now in my 30s and living in downtown I still drive up to PQ for this Barbershop and now I bring my kids. Low cost, friendly staff, and very skilled barbers. This placd is a hidden gem in PQ.

Ive been coming here since they opened and not once have I been disappointed. If you want it clean, go to the guys. The girls arent bad either, but the sports talk is better with the guys. =) Fast, efficient but make sure to go at random times or risk facing a long line. Cheap too $9.00 plus tip!

I just moved to the area and discovered this place a few months ago. The staff is friendly, plenty of parking and seating area, and CLEAN.There is virtually no wait time here because there is more than a half a dozen people cutting hair. I highly recommend Vin (VEN), she is at the second chair closest to the entrance door.

I have been going to get my haircuts at PQ barbershop for over 5 years. Fast, friendly and food looking haircuts.

The barbers do a good job and try to accomodate the clients. Fortunately hair grows back so even if it is not a perfect cut it grows back in a couple weeks.

As a first time customer I didnt feel very welcomed. Cash only was kind of a bummer too. But none the less, I got an amazing hair cut from one of the gals there and it was only $11

This is the only place I trust and go to for my haircuts. Super affordable price and they always give a clean taper. I personally go to either Vu or Fong.
