Wonderful storage facility with friendly and helpful staff. My belongings remain safe and secure.

We moved here from Extra Space Mission Valley. Needed more space and wanted to change locations.I fly in and out of town every week and store business supplies in the space.From what Ive seen in the year or so weve been doing this is that many small business owners (contractors, pool guys, etc.) use a storage space to store supplies.Property is clean and somewhat convenient (5 minutes off the i-5 and i-805) and access is easy with the app.One thing to beware of: access is closed at 9 and youll want to get there well before because you cannot get out past 9. The gate is closed - period. I was able to get out after 15 minutes on hold waiting for someone to answer. She kindly informed me of the policy and then opened the gate remotely.I got a phone call the next morning from their ops dept. advising me that the gates are closed and you must be out by 9. As if I didnt get the point the night before!Other storage facilities provide greater flexibility, allowing you to get there before closing hours and let yourself out when youre done.

I went into public storage to inquire about boxes and their prices. Heather greeted me and she was very pleasant and answered all my questions. Office looks very clean, safe and brand new. I would recommend you go to her for all your storage needs and Ill definitely be coming back to buy boxes from her very soon. 10/10 :)

Edit: Anthony gave me a call and asked to change my review from 4 to 5 stars in order for Heather to get the credit for her well deserved work. While I dont necessarily agree with the overall business practice, this specific location seems to be run well.This was my first time needing a storage unit and I didnt know what to expect. The property manager Heather deserves 5 stars and above. She was really patient with all my basic questions, showed me the unit before I rented, spoke clearly and is extremely knowledgable. Im about to start moving my items in, so I can only speak to the initial process which was fantastic.I removed one star for the extremely strange practice that Public Storage has regarding sizing. In their system a 10x10 unit is identical to a 9x12, since my longest item is 11 feet long, I wanted to make sure that the actual size of the unit was 9x12 even though it was called a 10x10. The sizing guides online dont show a 9x12 at all. I understand that this is an older property and it probably would be hard for Public Storage to have a guide for every single size option for all their properties. Slight confusion, but I ended up with the correct size I needed and Heather did a wonderful job explaining it all to me.

I would highly encourage using the centrally located storage facility. With easy access both in and out, I am always able to get my things very quickly or store things very quickly. The staff is extremely helpful, and is always available to answer any questions I may have. Don’t go anywhere else for your storage needs!

Just went inside the office to pay my moms storage bill and Danielle was so kind and helpful . I am thinking about getting a storage myself. Danielle offered to show me the two sizes she has available now, I could not this morning because I had to get back to my office but I plan on returning to check them out thanks again Danielle.

A storage garage was rented in this place since September 2016 because housing rent went thru the roof in Southern California.No problem on location although there were issues like rats piss and droppings to sweep and ants to spray off. Yuck.There were a break-in more than a year ago of many units but others rented were not affected. Some of adjacent friendly neighbors hadshared their stories and had moved on.Rent rate at this property had been raised periodically up to shy of being double since the entrapment move-in rate, which would promptone to start take action to find better offers at other units or elsewhere which usually come with move-in specials since February 2019.Transients without access codes had been spotted on property occasionally. However, transients on foot have been spotted since April2019 on this property which has all drive-by storage units, at off office-hours, which is very unusual in the industrial complex neighborhood. More boldly in the past few months transients on foot can be spotted on property silently appeared/disappeared in and out of closed unit in the after hour or early before opening hours. This looked very unusual for a drive-by storage garage as similar occurrences had been observed at competing business locations, but they were quickly resolved. At about same time, there appeared a section of fluid stain spreading larger and larger down hill as time goes on as one could observe and stay cleared off. A transient had been seen committed a wet spot incident on September 9 and it had been reported to management on September 10.A large 6-foot transient on foot approached a parked vehicle and attempted to snatch a users smart phone on September 25, was fendedoff by quick self-defense actions before 9:30 am office opened. It is recommended users venture on property do so with accompanying witness or self protection especially at off hours or will be faced with fabricated unpleasant encounter.This location has great service, however, one star rating would be deducted for every unpleasant incidents.

Danielle was very helpful with my move in to the storage unit. I was running late and she called a couple of times to let me know she was still holding the unit and made it easy for me to move in a little later than planned. Location is convenient for me.

Great customer service from Mike and Shawn who work here. If youre looking for drive up units rent here. Month to month lease and they pro rate you the month after you sign the rental agreement. However, do note they do not pro rate when you move your belongings out of storage.

Super awesome experience. Smooth, fast, too easy. I rented a small 6x12 and was in and out. Drive up units which rocked for loading and unloading easy access.Shawn was fantastic. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and answered all my annoying questions and concerns. He definitely made my experience one that I would refer people to if they had any storage needs close to the Carmel Valley/Sorrento Valley area.

Danielle was the person who helped me today. I was only thinking about the boxes I needed. Danielle asked me what kind of things I was boxing up and I told her mostly glass, and dishes she bought my attention to the packing paper, and dish dividers which was amazing because I really needed these items, I would have had to make two trips in this heat today if she was not awesome!

We have a family business, and have a couple units we rent at this location. Danielle always provides us with Excellent service on anything we need!!!

Rented a space here and manager Michael helped me with the rental. He made the process easy and straightforward. I appreciated how he explained the rental policy very well and how he valued me as a customer and had a genuine interest in helping me find the right size space. It is rare to find employees like him in companies nowadays who care about helping the customer. At most companies employees always seem to be in a rush to get a sale and dont actually speak with the customer to try and truly help customers find what they are looking for. Michael was a great manager and he really helped me out.

Shaun has been wonderful to my mother, Cindy, whos recently widowed & has had to take on the emptying of her storage units all alone. Its been awesome to experience compassion from someone who could have made her life a lot harder as she struggled to get things together. Public Storage has been a great company in general, but people like Shaun make it a lovely experience to do business.

I’ve been renting units here for about 2 years. The access is easy. It’s near the I-5and all units are drive-up and clean. Shawn, the manager, is very friendly and helpful. I recommend checking the website for the best prices. Also, It’s in an area of town where you feel safe going there at night.

Our paperwork was ready and waiting and the check in process was seamless.. The unit we rented was meticulously clean with very easy access. Convenient drive up spaces, and clean property. Staff here is very nice I went to buy some items a little while ago since I was planning on packing some items and the guy in the office Michael made it a easy and fast process.

I was looking for a storage unit and Jason was very helpful in showing me what Public Storage offers. The units have garage doors with lighting and are all driveway ready, which is incredibly convenient to pull your car up next to for access. Its great that they offer 9x12 units, which I havent found at most storage facilities. Overall good experience.
