Good customer service. Reserved and e-signed everything online. Need to go there to get access code and they also require a round lock, which you can buy there $14. They have a big wagon to transfer stuff from moving truck to the storage, which is really nice. My unit has lights inside. You might want to park your moving truck outside the gate if your rental unit is in A building area.

The 5 stars are for the manager Daniel. He is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable.As for the Storage Corporate - I wish they were more flexible with the hours you are permitted to enter. We start work at 7am at various locations but we are not permitted to enter storage unit until 7 am - making it impossible to start at 7. I wish we were permitted to enter earlier. Longer entry hours like the previous company that owned it.

We needed a last minute storage in the area and StorAmerica was easy to reserve online and for a great price. Monika was so friendly and helpful getting us the access information we needed. She was so patient answering all my questions and helping brainstorm ideas our needs.

If you are looking for people to answer the phone and the office to be open.... NOPE, NOPE, NOPE! Very frustrating trying to get into my unit, it was actually a horrible experience of coming to the office 4 times and it being closed. I paid a week in advance and trying to get a key to my unit was nothing less than pulling teeth, Horrific! Thankful for Daniel who was a rock star and actually provided great customer service. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place to anyone.I was waiting in the parking lot for hours, w/my help of $50 an hour and a rental truck (the one advertised was in the shop!) to get into my unit and during that time encountered 8 other desperate people that were being evicted, had to pay their bill and or needed access to their unit with NO ONE TO HELP. I tried calling other locations for help but NO answer!One guy actually said that he had been working w this place for 6 years and it has gone down hill w angry tenants constantly.They did credit me my 1st month but the nightmare continued after we finally got our unit # and key, with my lock to my unit being jacked up! I wasnt informed that I needed a lock and Daniel informed me to get one. I got a small circular lock that got jammed on a screwed up unit door. We found the maintenance guy and he was a life saver and helped fix the problem.It goes on and on.... beware. Moving here from Temecula, I know this would never be allowed in Temecula... honestly disturbed about the entire 4 day ordeal.

Great price and great customer service. I needed a storage unit last minute and he was very accommodating and understanding and ultimately I just had a really great experience.

All in all this is a good place .The team of employees are great.Every thing from keeping the place clean.towhat ever questions you may have..They have a great move in special.and auto pay as well. The only negative really is the hours arent so good.for most people the hours wouldnt bother thow

The whole reason a picked this place was for the moving truck, which is broken. Also be prepared to go down three steps with the dolly because apparently thats a thing there (my storage units is on the first floor). Oh and it also smells like dead animals.. Moving sucks to begin with, you made it hella a lot harder on me.. thankss -_-

I actually dont like this place but it was the cheapest I found so I guess you get what you pay for. I dont like the wooden floors in the hallways. I dont like that I have no light inside my storage. Lastly my storage has so much dust I cant breath well when Im inside. I tried to sweep it up but made it worse and started chocking from so much dust. To top it off I wasnt aware that this location on Federal Blvd is closing in about six months. If I wouldve known that I wouldnt of came here, Im not trying to do this moving again, but I guess Im gonna have to.

I have been rent a unit for a little over a year now. Its a great secure place to keep your belongings. I have only one problem with them. About a year ago while we were moving I sent my 22yr old son and 17yr old daughter to take some things to the storage. They got there while they were still open but they wouldnt let them out of the gate. They locked them in. It took almost an hour to get my children released from storage jail. So if you go before they close make sure you are gone before they close. Or you might be held overnight in the storage drunk tank. Lol

The rental process was quick, simple, and affordably priced. The manager is super helpful and thorough.

I would highly recommend going in to office to reserve a spot. As booking online is not clear in terms of first month special. Example I signed up on 27th for move in 1st month special, although it only would be for remaining 3 days of month. And on 1st would be full price. My assumption that it would be 30 days was not right and of course Customer is wrong when I spoke with person at office. Lesson Learned and waste of hard earned money.

I signed up for a unit and didn’t take occupancy and they still kept my first months rent. Thankfully it was only $30.

These guys are cool the lobby always smells really clean I like that once in a while for some random reason the office is closed in the middle of business hours but its usually not for too long and I definitely like the fact that they have a cart available for me to use because I am in an upstairs unit I appreciate them

These guys are great! This was an easy experience to get signed up and rent a unit. From there, every month was easy to pay online and anytime I needed help, the gentlemen in the office were always so nice. The man who seemed to be maintenance was always very friendly as well. While it was great to have a good offer that brought me in, use their moving van to bring all my belongings, plus have access to their wheeled carts that made moving so much easier in a clean unit (with a window!), it was management and staff that made my stay memorable. Krista is a sharp on the ball individual. The staff were all friendly and helpful. When I have need of a storage unit, I plan on going there again.

Would have given 5 stars had the male helping me not mumbled so much because there was a few occasions where I couldnt understand him. However they had prompt service, made sure I understood the rules and all around were very helpful.

The best self storage facility I have used. Amazing customer service who are happy to help with anything you may need. Round the clock security who go so far as to check all the locks on every unit. Locked gate and password locked doors make for worry free storage. I will certainly be back for any of my storage needs and will refer my friends.

Nice looking facility, got cameras, gated and even has new elevator to help you get stuff to the second floor. Aj at the front desk is really friendly. Answered all my question, right when i walked in the office greeted me with a smile. showed me different options prices and sizes for the storage that i need. Definitely recommend coming and get a storage here plus they got great specials.

Seems secure and clean, they do need to install lights that work in the units. Other than that no problems so far.

Last night I went to rent a 10 x 10 unit. Their website had a special - first floor - first month free - $125/month. The woman at the counter tells me it will be $167. I told her I wanted the special on their website. She said they dont have such a special. I look it up on my phone and I show her. She said that isnt their website and thats not their phone number. I verified the address on the website and as she was explaining her rates, her phone rang. I had called the number on the website and although she claimed it wasnt her number, she just answered it. So I told her to hook me up with the unit on the website. She said she couldnt adjust her prices that low unless the corporate office authorized it. It was one sorry excuse after another working real hard to dissatisfy a potential customer. I will be contacting the company about this and will update this review.

The staff here is totally awesome! Also very great rates. Cliff helped me out a ton when I was trying to find a new storage facility closer to my mothers home; we had a lot of things that we were clearing out, and for her driving to Chula Vista everyday wasnt an option. He even helped us out when the unit I originally requested got rented out by accident! I love this storage place there the cheapest monthly storage unit Ive found in San Diego. I highly recommend if you are going to be getting a unit weather its 1 month, 3 months, or 12 months there monthly payments with no contracts are awesome!!

If you want to be treated badly, get ripped off, talked down to and unappreciated - go here. I saw their website and wanted to rent a 10 by 10 storage unit. I went to the location and told them the size and price from their website. The woman there said they dont have that size at that price. I showed her the webpage and she said that wasnt there storage facility. I pointed out that the address on the web page matched their address and that the name of the facility on the webpage was the same as their name outside. She insisted that wasnt them and she could not rent me a storage unit for that price. She also mentioned that the phone number on that webpage wasnt theirs either. So while she started telling me her specials which were nothing special I dialed that number, the phone rang, and she answered. She looked dumbfounded and hung up the phone. She said there was nothing she could do she could not rent me a unit at that price. I dont want to waste any more of your time telling you the rest of this adventure into the Twilight Zone of storage facilities. Avoid this place. Go anywhere else and you will definitely be happy.

Number one issue poor customer service. What a lot of employees forget about is we are the consumers without tenants you would have a job period.Number two issue this Krista girl was extremely rude. Rolling her eyes and neck, she needs better respect towards tenants or any questions.Number three hanging up on a tenant because they are unable to explain their policies correctly.Number four high rental price goes up every year for a space and area that is unsafe. Poorly maintained. Stairs are slippery. No elevater access for those that are handicap. The tape that is on the stairs is coming off. The outside of the building looks nice but when you go inside its disgusting full of webs and bugs. Walls are dirty black paint is coming off. Nails hang off of the door frame. You would expect with unit rent going up that they would fix these issues but its been three years since new management and the managing is by far the worst.Number five the managers office look run down cheap poorly maintained just like the units. One handicap parking. No access to trash bins.I found a storage for the same price and bigger unit then I was paying here at storamerica.but all in all each his own. I would not recommend anyone, the deal is not worth it either. Especially since they took over by new management. Too much false advertisements.Ps. Of course you will not have record of me and thats because my Google name is not the same as my government name.Sincerily,A tenant who took their storage else where.Happy Easter and god bless.
