My car broke down-completely shut off while driving-very scary, my car got towed here and at first I was told I would have to replace the alternator by the towing company-next morning I get a call from Diko saying it was just a wire, not the whole alternator, and he stayed later the night before to fix it (which I did not request) to get it done. Hands down the most honest mechanic I’ve met besides my family and friends. Highly recommend. Thanks Diko!

I have been a loyal customer since 2007 and there is no one better out there! Diko is an exceptional mechanic, but more importantly he is honest, has integrity and truly cares about his customers. He regularly services our Honda Oddessey and Hyundai Sonata and keeps them running flawlessly. After the fire we werent sure if he would re-open but he did! His new location is behind the Sports Arena on Hicock St.

Diko is awesome! My brakes went out in my truck, luckily I was doing some work there. I left my truck with him and he had it fixed the next day at a reasonable price. He also checked the fuel line because the brake and fuel line are right next to each other. He went above and beyond by putting some rubber tubing on the brake line to make sure it has an extra layer of protection! Plus he is amazingly kind! Stand up guy. Definitely recommend him!

This is a great repair shop! Diko is honest, fair, and incredibly hard working. My car broke down and we brought it to Diko without an appointment because he was close and the previous Google review was good. He took us in right away, diagnosed the problem within a couple hours (for free) and promised he would have the car ready the next day. When we came to get the car, he told us he had worked on it until 1 AM to make sure it was done on time and to keep his word. There was no up-charge for this, we paid the price he quoted us at the beginning. I would recommend Diko Auto Repair to anyone and am grateful for the wonderful service!

Highly recommended for good service, honesty, and fair pricing. The first time I was here, I had axle trouble. The problem was assessed and fixed within the same day. Normal, standard, thorough and honest service.The second time was a little less fortunate. On a Sunday, I blew my transmission. I got it towed to Dikos, and already I could see the cars piled up in the lot and the street. On Monday I called and went in, and saw even more cars. Rarely have I ever seen a place so busy. By the end of the day, Diko called and had figured out that it was my transmission. It took a few days, but fortunately he was able to find and install a used, good transmission for a fraction of what a new one would cost. I knew it was busy and I definitely called and bugged them more times than they probably wanted, but DIko and the team kept patient with me.There are 2 major reasons I am writing this review:1) On Friday I came back to get my car, which Diko had personally gotten washed for me. I thought that was a super classy move, especially considering how busy they were that week.2) When it came time to pay, I didnt have what I thought I had. Undeterred, Diko told me to take the car home, and come back Monday to pay. He trusted me when I could have very easily have never come back, in which case he would be out $628. This man, I thought, must be an honest mechanic if I have ever seen one.5 stars.
